Understanding they were attempting to reassure him, Thris smiled easily, though he felt far from easy. "I understand that and you have a superior reputation. Let's get started, then. I just wanted to know the time of day and terrain for this." He crouches low and in a moment the image of an irregularly shaped boulder covers him, though careful examination reveals a slit, about eye level on a crouching elf, all the way around it.
A moment later Thris stands up through the illusion and it disappears.
Reaching over to flick Ro's nose lightly, "Inside voice. But as it stands we have no information, no plan or backup. My experience says it is risky, but doable. If things go badly, prioritize your lives first! We can always attempt another mission, but lost of members will cripple us and our morale. So survive, you crazy bastards. If things start to go sidewise and you aren't sure what to do, regroup or find a buddy. You should never be alone, as we learn information on the camp we can make a strategic decision. If we can't, and we have to escape. Do everything to make live inconvenient. Ruin the food, the water, let any animals go, torch tents, or anything to make life harder."
“Well, it’s a mountain. Your welcome.” Jaxonn says as he pulls a lever on the side of the platform.
your vision goes white. Your limbs go completely numb, and you feel like your brain suddenly exists in two places at once. But that fades quickly, and you find yourself in a rocky outcrop looking over a stone valley. In the valley, there is a small hexagon of small tents with a large tent on the middle, with some machinery coming out of it. There are a few troops in armor walking around the perimeter, and you see a few more in the camp unarmed. A couple of paces out of where you are standing is a steep drop into the camp, but there is a natural slope to your left leading down. You see a few vehicles in the camp as well, but they appear to have no weapons on them. Make any checks you deem necessary to discover more about this place.

”Did someone touch my face. I swear, if someone touched my face, I will bite off their fingers. Don’t touch my face!” Ro says aggressively, glaring at everyone around her. She then seemed to remember something, and looked remorseful. “Okay, sorry about that. I’m working on it.” She says, then proceeding to walk to the other side of the outcrop to look over the camp

Thris immediately sank to his haunches and moved silently to get a good view of the camp. It was time to count heads, look for sniper points, all the usual. He'd done this before. Speaking quietly, Thris explains what he's doing, then "Speak very quietly and make as little noise as possible. Seems obvious but sounds carry in the mountains and farther down than up."
Thris is using Perception to determine numbers, the best way down, where he can find a good spot to shoot from.
Perception: 8 Survival: 21, for choosing the best path and best place to hide but still see Nature: 7
Poppy stood unmoving slowly looking around after they arrived, his eyes drawn to Thris and smirking as they immediately started inspecting and examining. Whispering to the others, "Here we are. Stay close till we have a plan."
Shira begins to search the mountain for any hazards that could be used against the camp, before scouring the camp below searching for a main tent/leader
Perception: for natural hazards 24
Perception: leader/ tents 6
Stealth, if needed: 9

Rem will turn to the others and say: 'I'll be back in ten minutes with more information on the camp. Don't miss me too much.' Then, he will find a rocky crag out of sight of the others, take a deep breath and....shapeshift into a bat as an action. Then, he'll fly down into the camp and survey the situation: are some still sleeping? How many soldiers, exactly, are there? Who appears to be the leader and where does he sleep? What equipment do they have on hand? And anything else that I can see while down there.
Perception for layout of the camp: 21
Perception for traps/anything unusual: 4
Stealth (he's a bat, so not an unusual sight I presume?): 19
(NOOOOOOOOOO! WE LOST A PERSON! NOOOOOOOO! Well, I’m unsure what to do with their character, so..... they die in combat, the end!!???? I think..... uuuummmmmmm, any advice, players?) Well, it’s a small camp, so there are no traps or anything out of the ordinary. There is only around 20 tents, and due to the different markings you assume that not all sleeping quarters. You can’t tell if there is a leader or not here, but there is a beeeeeg tent in the middle of the camp, so that could mean something! You don’t need stealth, there are rather deep shadows around here. As of total soldier count, you see 13 in total, but you assume there could be others in tents. Equipment seems average, melee weapons en mass with maybe 4 rifles scattered around. As for approach routes, the path to your left is completely hidden from the camp.

After surveying the camp for a time, Thris carefully backs up until he's out of sight then turns to the others, relating what he saw. He looks at Ro, "Do we all wait for Rem to return or should some us take that path," he gestures off to the left, "and scout out more direct routes of approach, checking for traps and relatively easy and quiet ways into the camp?"
“Waiting for rem never works, he usually gets caught up somehow...” Ro says, and she begins running down the path to the left.

Wincing slightly as Ro takes off at a run...however hidden from view the path is it wasn't hidden from sound...Thris follows her. Albeit with a modicum of stealth.
(I made a stealth check too, I just roll the physical dice and don’t bother showing you because I’m the dm and you don’t have to know what I roll)

(As for character dropping, the teleportion had a glitch. They are gods knows where now.)
Poppy simply waits as the others head out, he looks at Thris and nods as he starts walking calmly but stealthy after Ro. Her health was important, even if they made stupid decisions.
Ro lights a fire on her hands. “Let’s gettem” she whispers, crouching closer to the camp.

Initiative of 10 let's get in this game;) I can attempt to charm one of the Coalition soldiers and draw him out of the camp, if it's required.
Edit: Let's go. Beautiful first initiative of the game;)
