One of the thieves turns just in time to see you spray fire into the dark. He dodges out of the way, but it isn’t enough to keep him completely safe. He is thrown out of the flame, burning but alive. The other two are not so lucky. You see as the flame completely engulfs one, and the third stumbles out and almost falls over, nearly dead. One of the two remaining stands up and draw his short sword. He steps forward and swings at Dorceran, but you manage to step out of the way. The other one pulls out a bow, and fires. The arrow zips past your arm and buries itself into the ground.
(I have a bad feeling I’m gonna be doing a lot of bad rolling.)

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Int. Order: Dorceran, Bandits, Meilanann, Alax, Sylvalur, then Ekane.
Meilanann quickly gets to his feet, little noises of concern and worry escaping his lips. As he backs away from the approaching bandits, he makes a complicated gesture and speaks a few arcane words and an unseen bell tolls over the one wielding a short sword.
Movement: stand and move 15 feet away from bandits
Action: toll the dead — WIS save DC13 or take 2 necrotic damage (I believe they are injured)
Alax charges into combat with the nearest enemy to him and slashes with his dual blades
7= attack
7= damage
he then readies his shield for a counter attack, if it comes.

Alax swings at the bandit, but your blade catches and deflects on part of her armour, and she seems unhurt from the blow.
After Meilanann casts his spell, suddenly, the bandit with the shortsword falls over. He looks down in surprise and pain, to see his legs rotting away and falling apart, his skin and muscles taken as if they were in fire. Then, it starts at his hands and goes through his arms, before in one final scream, he stops moving.
Sylvalur moves to fire an arrow at the one remaining bandit. It flies true, and takes the bandit in the chest. She falls over silently.
As you loot the bandits, you don’t find much they have some money (3 gold, 67 silver, and 43 copper, to be exact) and their weapons and simple leather armour. You do notice, however, the archer has a map on her. It’s crude and small, but you can make out a path that leads from Menorth... to off the map. Make an investigation check.
(Ha, no worries mate. It happens and you did say it was first go, so teething problems are always a thing. No drama.
Just let us know is there a way we can be responding to help to be easier. i.e. if we wait to resoond after you, or run through full init and you update all. Or a time to jump on that you ne around or some such? Whatever works to make life easy and the story flow! 😉)

Ekane notices that the bandit was also carrying a small box. If you were to fold the map up along the creases, it would fit perfectly into the box. Opening it, you find that there is another map engraved into the lid. It’s hard to make out, but it shows some mountains. There is a path running from the top of the map to the peak of a mountain, and if you line the two up, they match. These bandits seemed to be going from Menorth to the mountains.
You try to ask Zenara if she knows anything, but she seems fast asleep, not even noticing the fight that just went down. You’ll probably have to wait until morning before getting any information from her.
(I like the idea of you all running through your turns, and me summarizing it in one post. I think it’ll save time. I don’t really have a schedule, though, so any time works. Just know I’m in the U.S, so you (Dalekhead) will probably be active at different times than me)

Sylvalur steps back into the light of the fire stowing his bow. "Well. That was exciting. And our guide slept through, I see she will be a great use to us, during the day..."
"So what does the map show?" he asks leaning over Ekane's shoulder. "Oh, do we think we need to get to the mountains? That'll be fun, or at least nice view... if the fog clears.... maybe our guide will shed light in the light " he lays down and closes his eyes "someone wake me for my watch?" Snoring almost immediately.
Meilanann almost cheers at the sight of the last bandit dropping. He slaps Sylvalur on the shoulder. "Good shot!" He turns to Ekane as she bends over to loot their attackers. "I know she was already falling when you released your magic, but that was some light show. What do you call that?"
OOC: Do we split the loot each time, or should one of us be the treasurer and keep track until we get back to civilization?
The rest of the night is quiet and uneventful. You sleep well and wake up early, even to get a head start on the day. However, the fog says otherwise. As usual, the fog is there to wish you a crummy and muggy day.
(I really don’t care how you split the loot, just do it however you like. I’m fine with whatever.)

Did I miss something, was there a reason not to? I thought we were waiting on bandits?
Yeah, I understood that the initiative was Dorceran, then the bandits, then the rest of our PCs

Anymore bandits down or anything? Still two up? How close are they to each other?
Paladin - warforged - orange
Who does? I assume Alax. There are two other attacks after that, what happened there?
Would you prefer we wait for your response after each attack?
Well, basically, the website wouldn’t load all of these posts. That’s why I only responded to one. AAAAGH I feel like an idiot.
(I edited my last post go check it out)
