Hi there! I am a somewhat experienced DM (5 years) looking for players for some relatively short games. These games will be homebrew one-shots with no level advancement. Any level of experience is welcome.
All published WotC material is usable (no UA, 3rd party, or homebrew material). Starting level will depend on the adventure chosen. Publicly rolled ability scores, point buy, or standard array. Starting equipment or wealth rolled publicly. Higher levels will allow for free magic items.
If you are interested, please respond in a PM with your preferred level of play (1-5 low, 6-10 low mid, 11-15 high mid, 16-20 high).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I would be really interested. Especially in the higher spectrum of levels as it is rare to get this far.
I dont have a specific character in mind atm, but here are some scores anyways: Ability scores: 161715171613 New scores because i rerolled 1s once: Ability scores: 151210111610 If the level would be 19/20 i'd probably do a Fighter/Warlock multiclass
Some people have raised some points that should be clarified.
Stats are rolled via the standard method (roll 4d6 drop the lowest, six times). No rerolls or safety net, so roll at your own peril.
I am not worried about party power difference too much since these will be short adventures, and players may switch from adventure to adventure.
As a consequence of the short adventures there will not be much opportunity for character-driven narratives. I mostly ask that characters are cooperative with each other and have a reason to be adventuring.
For theme, it will really depend on the specific adventure. It could vary from classic crawls, high sea sailing, plains hopping, etc.
Please respond in a private message with your preferred level of play (1-5 low, 6-10 low mid, 11-15 high mid, 16-20 high). If you haven't already. I will leave recruiting up until Friday.
