Nixco heads back outside and points at the trail to follow, and prepares to go. "I will also try to help track these steps",

Thurakk will move to join th others once more as they step outside once again. With little else to do he will attempt to see what the others find as they observe tracks. "Find anything yet?"

Kane
Kane sets his gear and starts to move along a parallel line as the tracks. He will follow along as he can, the obvious tracks, and use his limited tracking skills when he loses the obvious ones. If Kane can't pick up the tracks he will stop, allowing the rest of the party to track and use their skills.
You all follow the footsteps out of the cabin, and into the forest, where you continue to track the footprints. Cade, at one point, gets distracted by a bird or some other small animal, but quickly gets pulled back on course by the rest of the party. After another 15 or so minutes of trekking through the forest, you approach a snow-covered cabin. This snow-covered cabin looks peaceful and quiet from the outside. Its windows are shuttered, and a steady stream of smoke piping out of the chimney indicates a roaring fire within. The footprints lead up to the cabin, and end off in front of the door.
Thurakk shrugs and crosses his arms as he looks at the door quietly. "Best option is to be direct and to the point. Beatin around the bush is only goin to make things even more complicated..."
With slight wince and then a smile, Nixco turns to the Dward, "Ha...I...er, I think the dwarf should go up front? The tracks were likely a Dwarf, so maybe they can connect without violence".
She thinks for a moment, "maybe accompanied by someone a little more... warm?"
As Kane approaches the door and knocks on it, a muffled voice from the inside yells for you to go away. From the voice, you can tell it's a female, and, while not having been there before, you all know that this is the cabin of Tulgi Lutan, mostly due to the description of the cabin given by Elro.

Looking around the log cabin, you don't see anything strange, but you do take note of a couple things. Each of the four walls of the cabin has a window, which is shuttered and latched from the inside. You also note that the roof of the cabin is about 10 or 12 feet high. The windows aren't low enough for you to peer through, but maybe a taller person could do so.

As you open the door, the heat in this small cabin hits like a hammer blow. A table set with neatly stacked dishes, tools, and utensils stands at the center of the room. The smell of a simmering soup comes from a pot hanging inside a roaring fireplace. Another fire burns in an iron brazier at the opposite end of the room, filling the cabin with a smoky haze. Shivering at the end of a bed near the brazier is a dwarf wrapped in blankets. Bulging blue veins streak her face, neck, and hands.
