Rose sighs after hearing the news about Silverymoon, worried about the idea of whatever it was spreading. When it the conversation turned to that of the metal man Rose nodded in understanding. I see. So you spoke to this thing? When we arrived all we saw was it standing over one of the guards who seemed near death. Luckily no one died, but from what I heard of the story it definitely seemed to be a misunderstanding on their part. Given all the recent happenings around here I suspected they overreacted. Perhaps we could talk to this metal creature? Is it still around?
Bell nods. "He's out in the woods just outside town. I've prepared zone of truth in case we need it to convince the captain of the guard or something. I want to make sure someone with authority here is reasonable before trying to bring him inside the town."

Rose nods. I see. Well, an old friend of mines sons were the ones who attacked. If we can get him and maybe even the boys to talk to him perhaps we can clear this up. I'm sure I can convince them to come speak to him peacefully, especially with the promise of magic that will force the truth. Should we go grab them or talk to the machine first?
Okay, let's go. Rose will lead Bell into the city and look for ash. Catching him up with events and asking if he'd be willing to meet with Bulwark alongside Rose and get to the truth of what happened.
Fallan laughs softly to herself as the party - now grown in size to include Bell once more - turns around once again and heads back into the city. Thinking "once more into the breach"to herself, she follows her friends.
Bulwark will continue to hide where he put himself in the brush, internally debating if he should continue to wait or if he would be better off to go on his way. With little else to do for the moment he will continue to wait for a while longer.
It didn't take Rose & co long to find Ash and his boys, as they had already started for the gate themselves, meeting the trio less than ten yards into the town itself, Rose catching them up on events. The boys get nervous and put their hands on their weapons, while Ash himself takes a more measured approach. More or less stating that he would be willing to comply - if only because of Rose's intervention earlier and having known her for a while. The trio spinning right back around, with another trio in tow. Ash lettign the other guards know what was about to happen.. just in case but telling them to wait at the gate. The six of them heading to where Bell had 'left' the 'monstrosity.
Bell calls out to Bulwark as they approach. “Hey friend! These fellas agreed to have a cordial chat. They’ll keep their weapons sheathed and we’ll get this sorted out.”

Bulwark debates on whether or not to come out to speak with them, part of him wanting to wait for them to leave instead of risking being attacked again. With little else to do though as they out numbered him, the warforged stepped out while being ready to run.
When Rose catches sight of the metal man she stiffens slightly at the sight, having only gotten a glimpse of it last time. Realizing shes being rude however she relaxes and waves Hello! Bulwark right? I'm Rose, this is Fallan. I hear you've already met my friend Bell here and it seems you've meet my human friends here under some..awkward circumstances. I apologize for our terrible first impression. Can you tell us what you came to Everlund for?
The guards followed Rose & co tensely, especially the boys. Ash was more pragmatic but he seemed to have finer skill and control than them - as to be expected. All of them had their hands on their weapons as they proceeded into the forest, only trusting this not to be an ambush by the fact that Rose was there - since what would be the point of saving the boys only to kill them somewhere else - The boys weapons were as sheathed as they could possibly be despite their apparent desire to have them at the ready. Ash's eyes falling onto Bulwark the moment he stepped up and revealed himself. The boys tenses and trembled a bit, though not a much as they had during the first meeting Y-yeah, that's 'im allright. This is what you boys saw?the father finished, watching Bulwark stand even taller than he was, a mix of metal that had never been seen before (Please take some time to describe a bit better what you look like Bulwark)
Y-yeah he came at us to kill us to get at whoever he was screaming out for! I'd call that a bad first impression! How do we know that Bell aint the golems master!? one of the boys said - his voice cracking. Now now boys... even if it does attack, we have it outnumbered, and I trust Bell if Bell trusts Rose. So - come ... thing. Tell us 'your' side of the story, once Bell makes sure you cannot lie. If.. by some chance you aren't some evil thing and there truly was an undue misunderstanding... I'll punish my boys firmly. If you are found to be lying however.... Ash let the threat hang in the air.
Bell casts Zone of Truth on the ground, and gestures for Bulwark to step into it. "After he speaks, the two of you would be welcome to step in and make your claims as well." She smiles brightly. "Go ahead Bulwark, let's get this debacle over with."(Feel free to chose to fail the save. printing spell description below)
You create a magical zone that guards against deception in a 15-foot-radius sphere centered on a point of your choice within range. Until the spell ends, a creature that enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there must make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, a creature can't speak a deliberate lie while in the radius. You know whether each creature succeeds or fails on its saving throw.
An affected creature is aware of the spell and can thus avoid answering questions to which it would normally respond with a lie. Such a creature can be evasive in its answers as long as it remains within the boundaries of the truth.

Bulwark stands at the average size for a well built half orc, standing over most humans. His body is made up of steel and hardened wood, both darkened to a degree with either light burning or special oils that have been applied. Over his metal body he wears expertly made chain mail armor that has a mixture of elven crafting into it with vines engraved on it around the joints. His face is rather odd due to the lack of a nose or other normal features, instead consisting of two glowing crystals that look to be made of ruby. The strangest thing is a rune on his forehead that looks to be pulsing with magic. On the inside of both of his palms are two more gems but these are blue and look to be sapphires.
"If you consider me attempting to ask a question and then being stabbed with a Spear, screaming and rushing about like an animal then yes that is what happened. I am looking for someone that should have passed here months back. An elven woman. She dresses in Crimson robes and has raven black hair, usually with an owl sitting on her shoulder."
Rose turns to the boys and asks Well, I can say I've not seen a woman who looks like that in my travels but if it was months back I wouldn't have been around. This person sound familiar to any of you? She waits long enough for an answering before turning back to Bulwark. What of the attack at the gate? One of these boys nearly died in that fight, if I hadn't been there it would have been a sure thing. So what happened, truly?
"They attacked me so I did the same in self defense. If someone randomly did the same I am sure most would do so as well." Bulwark said matter of factly as he crossed his arms. "Then a spell was cast over me so I made the choice to take the chance for a withdrawal."
