"Yes that would be the way it seems it will go. I have my own business as you have yours." Bulwark says calmly as he begins to make his way towards the tower.
The two boys continue arguing among themselves over which one of them had made the 'threats' but it ultimately seemed, even if off the intended route, that Fallan's mental projection had a real effect on them. Both because the two of them doubted that such a small woman could be a threat to them, and the veiled threat of their fathers punishment, though they didn't come to blows.
The man whom the item had been delivered to had been listening in -if only because you were all basically holding this conversation in front of him- had put the packed delivery to the side, in a basket, and replaced the coverings contents with the fish that had previously been in the basket. Likely so the sphere wouldn't 'roll off into the water' as he began to reel in his cast line, despite nothing biting. Well then, it seems you're all going to be off to Moongleam Tower then regardless of what happens after that. I know it ain't much, but it's all I can afford after this... he says, motioning to the package they had all just delivered, as he pulls out a rather small coinpurse and manages to get two gold for each of you. I don't know what's going on in Silver-moons that's so dire, but I hope that whatever it is, isn't hard to solve. And I wish you all luck in whatever your endeavors may be. Fair you well, I think it's time for me to get busy myself. Waited years for this day.... his voice trailed off into eager tones ... heading to the basket, and wrapping the fish to take back inside.
Since everyone more or less agreed to go to the tower and with your business done with the man, you walk up to the boys, and tell them where to, next. They manage to end their argument there, if only out of fear of reprimand from their parent(s) and took you all back up the path you took to get down, circling back to the bridge, and leading you all across it. While on the bridge while it wasn't worthy of being called wondrous, the view was pleasant of the river running through the town. Specks of people could be seen on the bridge in the middle of town, and a few people o the same bridge gave a wide berth to Bulwark, but didn't panic or attack. It seemed the plan in regards to that was working mostly as intended.
The tower itself was the only thing that could be seen from almost anywhere in the city, and even many places outside the walls. It was oddly on a piece of land that seemed to unnaturally jut from the ground for seemingly no reason, and the tower itself was wide enough to have its own very small set of walls, with four tower-like corners for soldiers to use as a firing ground from above, making the tower seem like a miniature fortress. The boys led around to the back side of the 'hill' where the natural 'stairs' had formed leading a steep climb that eventually led around roughly twenty five percent of the hill before entering through a relatively small portcullis. There were no guards on the 'walls' or even at the front gate, allowing entry inside the limited 'yard' between the 'walls' and the tower itself. Perhaps ten feet between the wall and the tower were all that was there. And no visible stairs to the upper walls were obvious.
Entering it through a gilded door with the shape of a crescent moon emblazoned in its center, a pair of women, one an Elf with silver waist-length hair, and amber eyes, wearing a powder-blue robe, sitting at a desk, seeming to have been formerly reading from a tome on the table. Her eyes seeming to glow dimly in the firelight -despite it being day outside, there was little to no sunlight within the rounded floor space of the tower. The other was a non-humanoid Yuan-ti Pureblood, her body was half human, half snake. Her eyes gleamed a slate gray as she looked to the party, the scales of her lower half gleaming a ruby-red. Most of her upper torso was exposed, save for a triangular fabric providing coverage of everything needed, and a small 'skirt'-like fabric that hung from where her waist would be.
Both of them looking at the strange group as if to ask what their business was.
Bulwark looked them over before he turned his attention away from the snake like woman to focus on the Elf as she seemed the best option for someone to have spoken with Latielian. He moved to speak but then decided to pose the question to both. "Excuse me I was told you would perhaps be the ones to ask about the whereabouts of someone I am looking for. From what I understand and elven wizard named Latielian passed through here with a Goliath companion. "
Fallan observes quietly as the metal man interrogates the pair. She chuckles to herself at the rarity of her being so quiet for so long, only to have her thoughts interrupted by the gurgling sound of her rumbling belly. Her attention slips away from the elf and the snake as her eyes scan the room for other exits, or stairs or anything that might lead to another room with a kitchen, or a pantry or a larder, or any good FOOD.
The yuanti seems to sigh in frustration as she is overlooked, and had clearly expected it to end up that way, going back to sorting some books along a shelf, and readjusting what was already there, a low hiss to accentuate her mood. Ignoring the fact that Bulwark was now also addressing her as a form of spite. Though its not as if she didn't listen anyway... the Elf however kept her eyes on the construct as 'it' spoke. Both of the boys staying at the door, looking noncommittal, still frustrated with their 'task' so much that they failed to notice Fallan scanning the area.
The elf's eyes shone with mild curiosity when the name was spoken, but there was a hidden reservation in it, her eyes narrowing just a bit though not in a way one could consider as 'frustrated' or 'suspicious' as she took in a long, slow breath through her nose. Someone that matches that description passed through here nearly a year ago, if that is what you mean by 'months'~ her voice cooed out in her races melodic notes though it held a hardness more typical of humans. But that depends on who is asking. And what their business might be with them, before we might be persuaded to tell you more. If you're not the right person, I'm afraid you'll have to live with the knowledge that she passed through here, and no more. So~ Who are you?
Meanwhile, Fallan scans the area, spotting a door ajar off to the far side of the room, and though none of it smells fresh-fresh, the familiar scent of baked bread and butter wafts out from it.
@Fallan a way I can give you more is, when you take actions like this, give me a sort-of 'multiple choice' but in the form of the answer, rather than the question... Like "If Fallan finds one, she tries to go in, if she doesn't she gives up and groans, etc. I want to post more for you but to do so would be to assume your actions.
Bulwark would have frowned if his face were able make such a motion, instead opting to scan over the two occupants of the tower for a few moments. He then slowly begins to speak in perfect elvish. "As I am now you may call me Bulwark but as I was before you would call me Urgoth husband of Latielian Narcion. If she still wears the ring then it would be a match for this one." He reaches into the bag on his side and pulls out a ring that is much to small for his hands.
If this was a revelation to the others, then they'd likely be showing it now. The two boys however look between each-other in a '...what?' expression, wondering how this ... thing could be a 'husband' though they kept their opinions to themselves, admittedly interested in this sudden development. The Snake-woman stops what she is doing, as her interest has suddenly returned. The elf raises a brow sharing a look in the same vein as the boys, though without the 'doubt' the boys held - But her expression also lent to having fully expected this situation. She stands up straighter, and crosses her arms. The yuanti instead cupping her chin in her slender scaled fingers. The elf speaking first... I see... Well. She did pass through here, looking for something we couldn't provide. Though we knew where she could find it. Her and her.. other man. They were lovers, apparently. She said you might eventually try to follow her to get between her, and her new life.
She doesn't want you to follow where she's going.
Well I perssonally don't care what that ***** wantss usss to do. She didn't pay us enough for the information to keep her wheraboutsss, or her businessss private. The elf lets a sigh she was trying to hold back escape from her lips, looking at the snake woman. Ssethsara... Please be quiet. You already know I had no intention of hiding it from them. I was just keeping up what she did pay us to do. Then sstop wassting time, we're busy. I know you enjoy your dramaticsss but you need to get it on with. I'm more interested in what he... it... will do with this information. The elf's forehead scrunched at the accusation, a rare crack in an elfs visage -not that you would know that- Ugh, fine. Fine. Whatever, ruin my fun why don't you. Look...Urgoth... a distasteful expression crossed her face, though she didn't know why She came by with her paladin lover.... Paavu Gae-Al.... Don't interrupt me Sseth... And well.. you already know her name.
She is heading to Chult to find some relic rumored to be there, though, what she wants it for she wouldn't tell us. But Paavu assured us he'd keep her 'safe.' And.. well with that masculine body.... I don't doubt it. She left here .. I want to say about ... four tendays ago... give or take. Though they had a stop to make along the way so they may or may not already be on their way.
"It is not so surprising she always did seem to have a preference for partners that were large and muscular. I see then that if she has chosen another then I have enough evidence that making this vess was not worth the work entailed." Bulwark mutters, his hand clenched as he drops the ring back into the bag. "Well I do not wish to impose any further. You may ask your questions now."

Rose stands off to the side with Fallan though unlike her fellow halfling her focus was on the exchange before her. Though she didn't understand a word of Rose couldn't help but shake the feeling Bulwark wasn't pleased at the news, whatever it may be, though the exact nature and seriousness eluded her. Rose shifted her gaze to the surroundings, mot looking for anything in particular but Fallans constant fidgeting finally drew her attention, though she made sure to keep an ear on the conversation to see what came of it.

As Bell is doing nothing particular, Fallan is simply aware of a door but doing nothing with the knowledge, and Rose standing awkwardly... The Yuan-ti after a few very long moments of silence can't help but laugh at the warforged. Fallan decides that she is not an authority on any of the current topics of conversation (marriage, men, transformations into metal constructs, etc.). However, talk about four tendays, and the thought of possibly being in pursuit of someone with that much of a lead filled her with dread, should the group decide to head out without a good meal (or three), and without proper provisions. As she wanted no part of upsetting the snake-woman any more than the metal man had done already, Fallan quietly tries to side-step her way into the shadows and toward the door that beckoned with the scents of an active kitchen. Hoping that she would get there unnoticed, she intended to find out what smelled so good and what could be obtained for immediate or future consumption.

Fallan sneaking inside the door only to discover it led to a very short hallway with a door at the far end of the ten foot hallway. Easily slipping to the door, Fallan can see an older dwarf man tending to what was likely another batch of buttery goodness. And once again that mysterious voice entered Fallans head. You should kill that dwarf.... and take the food for yourself... this time, however, the compulsion came on stronger... it was still faint but it physically tugged at Fallans mind ....

Fallan found herself shaking her head as she fought a battle between her senses. The dwarven chef's delicacy cried out to her stomach while her head pushed back as best it could against insidious thoughts she knew were not hers. Finally, she decided that the best way to handle both, before either got completely out of control was to announce herself to the dwarf.
"Hey, you make that stuff only for the elf and snake lady, or can anyone that appreciates good cooking find a way to get a taste of your work?"
The dwarf nearly jumps out of his skin when Fallan first begins speaking, obviously not expecting anyone and especially not recognizing the voice. He had just been in the process of pulling out one loaf and preparing to put in the next, it only just barely being spared a fall by the fact that it remained as dough and the dwarfs awkward 'oh shit i have to catch this' dance... doing his best not to lose it another way either. Woahoahoah! Ah... he said, finally managing to get the new loaf under control, and stuff it in the oven, closing it, and flipping over the sandglass - and finally turning to face this 'intruder'!
Looking up initially, used to having to look up to the elf and the yuan, before his gaze falls down till it falls upon Fallans head. Well, can't say I know ye. Not many smallfolk in the tower, asides meself, that is. And that depends on what ye have to offer. I'm sure ye've heard of a bakers dozen. I'm sure I could be convinced t' share atleast half a loaf with ye.. if ye've got an interestin story t' tell. And ye don't prove to be a nardowell.
"Yes I am sure they would be deeply upset at your loss. It is more likely you are tolerated because you are useful for the time being. I myself have much more to offer as I found a way to continue my life even after my body failed without resorting to becoming undead. Of course this is not quite ideal but it is a temporary measure." Bulwark says before he shrugs and steps away. "I am fine. Just tired of dealing with smug wizards. I dealt with that enough. Although it is much worse when they are stuffy 500 year old elves."
I see, perhaps we should just go then. But before we do I actually wanted to ask some questions. Rose approaches the Yuan-ti and the Elf and gives a slight bow. Excuse me, I am Rosorla Brightmoon of Silverymoon, Cleric of Selûne. My friends and I arrived back in the Marches only a few days ago. When we reached Silverymoon we found the entire city to be in a state of madness and obsession. We've been able to determine there's some sort of poison affecting the city and that it's influence is spreading slowly but surely. We came here to Everlund to seek some sort of help, and I think we will need the aid of a wizard if we hope to locate the source of this poison and put and end to the madness there. Would you be able to help us?

Woahoahoah! Ah... he said, finally managing to get the new loaf under control, and stuff it in the oven, closing it, and flipping over the sandglass - and finally turning to face this 'intruder'!
Occassional Dungeon Master.
