"Oh, my. No, I am *NOT* discounting Ja's cooking. This is very fine, indeed, But Ja has lots of other duties here, right? The Alderleaf family - what else do THEY do?" Fallan asks, hoping both to undo any "faux pas" she may have made, as well as to distract Gwen from any wedding day jitters. "And no, I haven't had rations for the whole of this past year... could you imagine? You know what they say, after a few days of that stuff, it sets a halfling's better-eating palate back 6 months!! I've got a lot of "catching up" to do if I am ever to get things back "on track". Am I right?" She smiles her best "of course I am kidding... or am I" smile for Gwen.

Rose nods as she eagerly starts filling her mouth with various foodstuffs and mumbles. Yes Ja is quite the cook. Still not sure how he manages to keep all that fur out of the food but he's always been the parties resident cook. Rose continues to eat before looking down at the table in silence,, not quite sure what to do with herself at this point and feeling a bit awkward, her confidence boost starting to wear slightly though she wasn't nearly as nervous as she was earlier.

Deception to hide his smirk: 6
Ja smirks at Rose's comment when she finally joins the rest of them. Gwen able to eat with rose in view only because the veil blocking her face, most likely just superstition on her part. Putting one hand behind and one in front in a polite bow Ja says Ah no, I actually add it as the special ingredient I always told you about! It gives it that fluffy texture! he says, trying to hide his humored grin so that his tease could play out as much as possible, though his eyes did scan the others to see if they all gave similar reactions.
Gwen seems to regard the food with suspicion suddenly as she begins to move the food around, looking for evidence of Ja'ree-like hairs within her food though she is unable to confirm the residency of any such foreign objects. Once she has confirmed there were none, she would finally respond to Fallan. Haha... Fallan... I see, I see. Well you never know, you may have found a taste for them and considered them a delicacy after the mine. However we'll make sure you're sent off with atleast a few pieces of non-ration meat, and a few days worth of vegetables.
"Gwen! Obviously, Ja should be given a raise! One commensurate with his talents! (and dependent upon his keeping his word!" Fallan grins. To anyone checking, she never stopped to look for fur or any other "special ingredients".
The breakfast is eventually finished, and the day drags on for both Gwen (who has left to get 'dressed and prepared') and Rose who atleast previously had the jitters. As per Roses request, was held later in the evening, to allow Selune to witness it in as much capacity as possible. Though the temple was incomplete, its central chamber was done well enough that it could be considered a proper hall to host the service. The hall itself was beautiful in varying shades of starry-blues, midnight hues, interwoven with milky strands gilding the complex. The walls themselves were inlaid with tiny, unremarkable gemstones that acted to glitterlike effect in creating a stars-in-the-sky appearance whenever a lightsource was present, even if only a candle.
More feasting had taken place, likely much to Fallans happy-pallet. The food had been even more grand and elaborate than the day before, though never to 'royalty' levels, it was great for a small town that had only just revived itself, and still within the budget for the town. Sildar had made good on his promise, showing up in the early evening, just in time to eat the scraps that were still there. The entire town was going to be joining for the wedding, even though most faces were just people who happened to live there, to anyone other than Rose or Gwen.
The seats had yet to be crafted, and so everyone had to stand that was in attendance. Gwen, hiding in the office area since someone had to be the 'groom' and Rose is the one who had proposed after-all! Other than soft, excited mumblings, it was a mostly peaceful congregation as everyone was stuffed with good food. Ja'ree taking up the mantle of the 'priest' since Rose couldn't very well do it, and he happened to still have his temple robes lying around in his small house, taking his place at the moon-shaped pulpit, with slight moonlight pouring in from the 'moonroof' shaped like a crescent moon that made it so at night, Selune's light would shine down on whoever the acting preacher was.
Rose stood in her position at the altar waiting for Gwen to come down the aisle, her nervous finally coming back in full force. Unfortunately, unable to drink half a gallon of honey to calm down, all she could do was stand and look through the moonroof and whisper small prayers to Selûne. Rose couldn't help but fidget with the dress, a dark blue dress that faded to a deep twilight purple towards the bottom inlaid with silver threat to look like constellations in the night sky.
After praying to her Goddess Rose started to calm down a little, turning to Ja to offer him a smile and quietly thank him for agreeing to oversee the wedding. She then turned to the crowd to see the townsfolk she had come to know in the last year. Her heart filled with joy as she did, even though it was impossible for either of them to have family in the crowd it still felt like family was there to witness the ceremony. She gave her new friends an excited wave,w wherever they may be in the crowd before turning back to look through the moonroof and pray to Selûne while waiting for Gwen.
As Rose looks out she can she Root there with a shirt on probably the first time. It’s a simple button cloth shirt. He waves with a big grin on his face.

"Mulkrip" -Hobgoblin Barbarian, Path of the Totem Warrior -Libertalia
Just as Ja was preparing to start with his duties as the "stand-in priest", all those in the chapel heard a voice, vaguely familiar to some, but also somewhat light and airy. Almost as if it had come in through the moonroof, instead of actually auditory, their minds registered the same thing simultaneously.
[T] "Behold these strong and lovely women, with whom I am well pleased. Let their union be blessed, and recognized by all with joy and awe. May their lives be filled with love and fidelity."
As Bell and Root wave at the couple ready for their ceremony, Fallan - though smiling - seemed to have her face a bit scrunched up, with her hand raised to her temple.
Soft murmurs still echo through the room, but it's to be expected as everyone waited on what was to come. Ja patiently waiting for the signal that Gwen was ready. When Rose finally got over her nerves, the crowd, not knowing who she was waiving to, tentatively waived back but with smiles on their faces, trying their best to stay prim and proper for the occasion. Root wearing a shirt likely being the biggest shock for those who knew him.
As everyone continued waiting, a strange phenomenon occurred, as seemingly everyone present felt or rather heard a voice in their heads, seeming to come from the sky, and sounding unfamiliar as Fallan's but rather an attempt to sound like Selune, and many in the crowed seemed awed as they all looked around as if to ask each-other 'did you hear that too?' only increasing the positive-tension in the air as many felt it was a blessing from above - whether Rose was convinced or not was another matter.
Eventually a signal was given, and soft music started playing from several wind instruments along the edges, it was traditionally human music, so hopefully the pair wouldn't mind. And after a few moments, accompanied by two human children holding the back of the dress - Gwen slowly came out of the side room. It took a moment for all to see, but she was wearing off-white, with layers of clear-shaded fabrics. Her head covered in a now white veil that matched the color of the dress. It was obvious the intent was to look like a full moon in mortal form. She was shaking ever so slightly, but she seemed more composed or confident than rose for once.
Slowly but surely walking through the center of the crowd - a wide smile on her face, just barely visible through the veil. The music continuing softly and echoing in the almost-perfectly acoustic room. Ja shuffling his robes in preparation. Eventually Gwen making it to the alter, standing parallel to Rose, but in silence. Ja clearing his throat as he starts to speak.
To all those gathered, we seem to have been host to a deific blessing upon this holy union, only making it shine brighter in the dark of night. Tonight, we are gathered to bring these two unique souls together in holy matrimony. I have known them both for a long time, and I feel they compliment eachother well. Though their paths are soon to be separate, tonight, they will bind themselves together, intertwining souls forever together, regardless of distance.
Rosorla Brightmoon. This blessed night, upon which the town you helped foster, in a temple of Selune under her holy auspices, do you, pledge that forever more, in sickness and in health. For richer or poorer. Do you take Gwenneth as your betrothed, bound together, regardless of distance, till oblivion do you part?
He said, eyes fixing on the halfling, as did all of the witnesses and guests, Sildar included.
When Rose heard the voice she was excited for a brief moment before she wondered to herself where the voice had actually come from. She had heard the ladys voice before and it seemed...off this time. All thoughts of investigating the strange voice however would soon leave her mind. Roses heart skipped a beat when the music started playing and she turned to witness Gwen come down the isle. All Rose could think of at that moment was how stunning Gwen looked, the nerves of earlier seeming to wash away for good this time. She smiled back to her betrothed and seemed to get lost in her radiance, almost not hearing Ja speak at all. But she did catch the most important part of his words, confidently replying I do.
During this time, Fallan hears a voice in her head, softly, and sweetly whispering, though no source could be discerned. It simply said Find the Alderleaf child.... you must take him to the fields.... the voice ceasing at the end of that last word. The procession continuing as one of the children who'd held up the dress now produced a ring made of marble of all things, and holding it there, but precedence set that nothing would happen until both parties agreed.
And you, Gwenneth. This blessed night, upon which the town you helped foster, in a temple of Selune under her holy auspices, do you, pledge that forever more, in sickness and in health. For richer or poorer. Do you take Rosorla as your betrothed, bound together, regardless of distance, till oblivion do you part?
There was a slight pause, though it was clear it wasn't' hesitance Yes, I do. The crowd gaining tension as they held back their cheers, as the second ring was presented, made of the same material. Gwens ring bearing a Citrine gem, while Rose's bore a Moonstone. Gwen almost reached for the ring before Ja finished... Then take your rings, and place them on each-others fingers.
Gwen taking her Citrined ring, and kneeling down to take Rose's left hand, placing the tiny ring on her tiny finger, before moving so that Rose could do the same. When and if Rose did....
Rose held her excitement in for the moment, determined to get through the ceremony without squeeling. Once prompted, she takes the ring meant for Gwen and then places it on Gwens finger.
Rose's finger shone with the glint of the citrine ring, as she takes the moonstone ring, placing it on Gwens. Then, by the temporary power vested in me, I sanctify this marriage between these two souls, let them never part. I now pronounce you both, betrothed. Finally the room became uproarious as Sildar, and the townsfolk cheered it on, various random hugging, and back pats as flower petals were thrown in lei of seeds or whatever else was normally flung about at such occasions.
And a large cake was brought in, for all to share, though it lacked any special toppings, it was still pretty, and those who got 'frosting sickness' likely approved.
Rose embraced Gwen, kissing her and hugging her tight, finally letting out the squeal she was holding in. As the ceremony finished and food was brought our Rose would spend most of the time chatting with anyone near by as well as her new wife about the ceremony or whatever other topics came to mind until the end of the ceremony.

Mirthful Leaps (d8 added to jump height) 8
Bell cheers and claps, and leaps into the air in celebration. When the cake is wheeled out, her eyes lock upon it, and Bell moves in swiftly for a piece as if stalking prey.
Turning to see Root's unexpected blubbering, Fallan goes to elbow the Dragonborn in the side - her height making it so, at best, Root got a small poke in the side of the knee. "Really? Yeah, it was amazing, but.... REALLY?"The halfling shrugs her shoulders and outstretches her arms. "Let's get some cake, huh? Is that the Alderleaf family cooking handiwork? Were the kids bringing it in Alderleaf kids? Or was... (Cody, was it? Cozy? Carp? Fish? The one that met us at the mine?) ... the only child in that family?" Seeing that all the questions seemed to puzzle Root, she added "What? I'm just asking."
The night goes on with loud festivity, and the last of any feasting, though this time it was mostly of cake, and wine continued on until the stroke of midnight for Gwen and Rose, who.. for obvious reasons, wanted to be alone, and share in some personal time before parting ways. The rest of the town was likely to celebrate until the wee hours, so anyone wishing to join them could join in the festive revelry. Sildar, though he was more stoic, still enjoyed some of the festivities, even indulging in spirits and a few slices of cake.
The Alderleafs made sure the wine kept flowing at-least for a while.
Back with Gwen however, she led Rose, by picking her up into her arms, princess-style, since the reverse wasn't a likely proposition, and carried her to their personal chambers, and for the first time in a while, locked the door. Placing Rose on the bed, as she began to casually remove her own wedding gown. First, removing that annoying veil, followed by the straps to her gown, slinking them off slowly, as Gwen was extremely lithe, despite her new role in town she had remained very physically active. Gwen revealing her body slowly... being far more aggressive than normal as Rose was usually the 'pants' in the relationship.
Her chest was what most people considered the perfect balance between size and shape, with a semi-hourglass figure marred.. or improved depending on the viewer, by the faintest traces of definition in her arms, abs, and legs. Gwen kept her eyes on her new life-partner, watching for reactions.... It wasn't their first time.. but... it was their first time as a bonded pair... Her otherwise peachy skin flush in various places as her bottom lip sank into her maw, behind her teeth, exposing her canine on one side only.
She continued to remove her garments, what little remained, until she stood before Rose, even more bare than the day she was born. Making her way to rose she slowly slunk down, until just before the bed, where she got onto her knee's, eyes firmly locked to her partner, going in for a kiss, a heady growl escaping her throat as she pressed forward.
"Oh, my. No, I am *NOT* discounting Ja's cooking. This is very fine, indeed, But Ja has lots of other duties here, right? The Alderleaf family - what else do THEY do?"
