The next morning comes and goes much like the previous morning, though the food was less extravagant and more, for the lack of a better word 'normal.' Sildar comes, goes, comes again Speaking idly as the town goes about it's business, some with more hangover than others. The same cheer lingering in the air, as a few members of the town got together to clean up the mess.
Just before the afternoon, everyone meets once more in the town hall to discuss the groups next steps while Gwen is off handling town business.
This is where we will be choosing who's lead to follow.
Root will speak first “Before we begin, let me say Congratulations to you Rose. My the gods look over you especially yours.” He gives a slight bow to Rose then snapping back “Now Bell how was the search of your heirloom?”

Rose woke up especially chipper this morning, the excitement of the previous day still fresh in her mind. Seeing Gwen had gotten up before her.amd appears to have gone to tend to her duties Rose slowly got up and changed. Once dressed and fed Rose finally met up with the others, waving to them before approaching looking happier than ever. Once Root starts the conversation she smiles even wider saying. Thank you Root, it means a lot! Ah and yes Belle I've been meaning to ask for more details as well. What kind of instrument is it and whats this lead you got?
“Well, apparently, up in Silverymoon a trader was spotted with a magical instrument that might be my heirloom. Long story short I... left it lying around and it was stolen. Finding that instrument is the reason I left my village.” Bellerain shrugs. “I’ve hit dead ends before in my travels, but this lead is pretty solid as they go. I guess caravans up there have been getting attacked recently, so even if the information is a little old, it may still be stashed away by some bandit gang’s horde, or hanging in some paranoid merchants storehouse.”

Rose considers for a moment and says Hmm...I had been hoping to go west and see the coast. I've never seen the ocean before ya know but going back home to Silverwood wouldn't be terrible, especially if it helped you get your heirloom back. We also have this issue with this Dragon Cult. I'm not sure how much of a threat they pose but if they are heading to Greenest it could mean danger for the people there. After what happened to Phandalin....well I think they may need a group of heros around just in case. Still thats a long trip, much longer than the walk to Silverymoon. What about the rest of you? Did you all have anything that might need investigating?
"Hmmm.. " Rubbing his chin "While coming down the mountains I heard a few rumors about some far away islands but, for some reason it calls to me. Perhaps after we deal with the dragons and finding of Bell's heirloom. For now i am content on going to silverymoon. Never been now that i think about it. I could do some fishin along the way."

Rose nods and gives Belle a thumbs up. Of course! Oh I can give you all the best tour of the city too. Spent a lot of time wandering around the city growing up there. Know all the best places to get a quick bite and all the best sweet shops!
"I'm up for whatever Bell and Root choose. But I gotta wonder... if you don't handle the cult, can't it get stronger while looking for the heirloom? If you handle the cult, the heirloom doesn't get any more lost, right?"Fallan scratches her chin and then adds: "But if you are just throwing out things to take up our days, there's that town where no one would leave, because they were scared, and - believe it or not - I think maybe Alderleaf's kid needs to be taken somewhere - whether he likes it or not. But like I said, I'll follow the furry and the scaly ones wherever."And she both grins and ducks away from Bell and Root, just in case they don't think her new nickname for the pair is as funny as she thinks it is.
Bellerain's long ears flitter up and down, her piercings jingling together. "I am kinda fury aren't I? Heehee," Bell observes with a grin. Then she frowns. "While I agree that a cult may be more important, if my instrument gets sold off or stolen again from whoever has it now, it could be halfway across the continent in a matter of weeks or days. Do we have anyone we could send to greenest as a scout or messenger? Do we still have access to those sending stones? If cult ends up not being a problem, it would be a huge waste of time for all of us to travel out there anyways. Why don't we send a runner for information while we head north after the harp... my instrument is a harp by the way. Then if we get word that the problem in greenest requires our attention, we can ride straight there from wherever we are, heirloom be damned."
"You've got a point there, oh furry one." Fallan snickers a little before continuing. "I was thinking that whoever took your harp (somehow I didn't expect it was a trombone or anything like that) had likely carried it back to their castle/cave/fortress/temple or wherever thieves of magical music call home and it was there, waiting to be 'rescued'. But if it is "on the move", then, you are absolutely right. Finding whoever is carrying it around the countryside should be the top priority."
Rose considers for a moment before saying Fallan does have a point. Still, Sildar is in town. He's Lords Alliance and should have scouts available to him. I could ask if he could look into it and send word to me in Silverymoon if there's something he need our help with. Unfortunately we don't have access to those sending stones anymore so we'll have to rely on more mundane methods of sending a message. But I can go see Sildar today if we want to pursue Belles missing heirloom.
This will play out as a sped-up cinematic since I'm sure everyone would like to actually start 'doing' more than talking. So as to allow the story to move on!
Rose eventually approaches Sildar with the groups request to send people to Greenest to see what may or may not be happening down there. And it takes a little convincing, but he eventually relents when the deal is ultimately proposed, he thinks of a way that he can convince the Alliance to spare some resources for that end. Once it's brokered, Rose and Co. essentially have as much time as they'd like to prepare for it. The party collectively has thousands of gold, and at-least a small amount of suppliers in Thundertree, as no one had renamed it.
During the course of the day, one of the mines suppliers brought a small wagonload of items sitting atop a pile of Platinum Ingots being carted in by a pair of Dwarves in dark leathers, covered in sweat as they made it through the front gate, showing their papers and such before moving inside further. Oh Gwen! the pair called out in near unison. Gwen coming out of the nearby General Store, Barthens - her eyebrows raised in surprise, then excitement. Calling the group over if any were in earshot to take a look at what was there.
The town had the three apothecaries, which sold functional Potions of healing, the rest of their stock always had unintended side effects but usually did what they claimed among other things. You could find any low-level, base potions with them. The new smith is able to repair damaged armor, or offer you mundane copies of things you already have, including ammunition. Barthens can give you anything on the adventuring gear list, that's under 50 gold.
The Bag of Holding can be purchased for 350 GP, the Mithral Armor can be purchased for 450 GP, the Driftglobe can be purchased for 500 GP
When the dwarves came Rose couldn't help but take a peek in the cart to see just what was coming into town. She briefly considered making an offer for the armor before deciding it wasn't worth losing the amount of protection her current set of chainmail offered, that and the face it wasn't exactly her size anyway. Turning to the others if they were nearby she said Hey any of you see anything you like? May be the last chance we have to purchase some magical gear before reaching Silverymoon. Without waiting for a response Rose turns back to ask a price for the bag of holding. After getting her answer she gladly pays the 350gp. First thing in the bag is Hew, the cumbersome battle axe she wasn't looking forward to carrying and yet couldn't part with easily. Well that's a relief! Anyone else carrying too much? Plenty of space in the bag!
“Hmm this might come in handy.” Root will palm the globe examining it. “I’ll take this, perhaps when we are at Silverymoon we can find something more items. Well excuse me while I get the wagon together.”
Root will purchase the (DriftGlobe) and get his wagon together. It’s been awhile since he last traveled with Dorothy. Going to a stable Root will look to purchase a new horse and a rowboat.
"Carrying too much?"Fallan asks Rose with a friendly laugh flavoring her tone. "What we should all have learned is that we don't carry ENOUGH *good* food with us. If that thing can handle it, how about we hit up the good Alderleaf folks who catered the wedding and pack away a reasonable amount of chow that won't have us gagging on rations sooner than necessary? I'll spring for the food, as long as we're ok carrying it in that thing. Sound good?"
Rose nods to Fallan saying Sounds like a great idea to me! Fresh food for the road and once the cart is ready I think I'm ready to hit the road. I'll quickly say my farewells (off screen) and then we can head to Silverymoon. Oh Fallan you're going to love Mooncakes. I know the best bakery in all the city. We'll have to make that an early stop! With that Rose will follow Fallan to stock up on food. She'll also quickly purchase some healing potions from the apothecaries (will discuss specifics in discord later but otherwise im good to hit the road)

Everyone makes their rounds, buying various supplies, including a new horse (at cost - 15 gold) a rowboat (50% off), the magic items at presented cost, and for every 10 days (per person) worth of non-ration food the cost is 5 GP after discount, and will include, per day 1 potato, 1 carrot, 1 cabbage, 1 corn, a decent handful of peas and green beans, and a single turkey or chicken leg.
Rose says her farewells to Gwen, which includes many kisses and other such affections before everyone meets at the gates, fully supplied with whatever they've got and purchased. Heading to the town gate, with their cart, pair of horses and supplies either loaded in the cart or in the BoH. The plus side being that with some of the supplies no longer taking up room in the cart, short of weight limits, the cart could hold most, if not all of the party.
Heading out, the gate guards bid you all farewell and safe journeys. Sildar had agree'd to send scouts to greenest to find out if anything odd has been discovered, especially cult related, by sending a missive to their branch in the area, promising to report anything found as a favor to Rose and Co.
Once out on the main road, you all take a casual steady pace, Some following more familiar paths than others, until the road forks north-easterly, a common trade route. The most familiar rolling hills and mountains shrink behind you, but new ones close in on your side along the wellworn trade route that connected some aspects of the north to the Sword coast. The forest closing in on the right, as the warm summer breeze caresses your faces throughout the day. Aside from traders -who had only started to use the route once more now that the orcish raiders that Rose's former group dealt with- and the occasional pilgrim or other similar travelers.
The day melts into night, and as agree'd, Rose, who had the better dark vision would always take the first watch, followed by Root taking over when the Moon was at its apex till the sun came up. The first day going by quite boringly peaceful.
The next morning you all get up, perform whatever rituals and tasks need to be done after breaking camp. A few hours into the trip, up ahead, you encounter a wagon, going the same direction as you were, a few hundred feet ahead. A few people, an elf, a dwarf, and a human are all standing around one side, looking quite frustrated.
Remove any gold from your inventory purchases, add any purchases to your sheet. For whatever Fallan got from the Alderleafs, mark down on 'other tiems' as "Not-Rations x #" where # is how many you bought. Any magical items you have that require attunement must be actively fiddled with for atleast 8 hours before you can attune to them, and what better time than an 8-9 day trip?
Not all encounters will be enemies. I will pause travel whenever an 'encounter' occors. However in a case like this, you do have the option to ignore them.

As the party gets close to the other wagon Rose sticks her head out to take a peek at who they were approaching. She made sure to look to see how well armed they might be, feeling more comfortable if they are armed believing them to be fellow adventures or perhaps a trading caravan. After inspecting the people she would look to see what might be wrong with the wagon, if there was something wrong, before deciding to hail them or not.
