Feeling confident the others could finish off the remaining goals without Rose's aid in fight she stows her Hammer for now and instead focuses on healing the parties wounds as they occur. She mentally focuses her healing light on Belle, healing her cheek wound while also approaching Fallan and laying a hand on her back, allowing more healing energy to flow through her and heal her own facial wound. Not sure exactly why this big slobbering beast seems so intent to come at her, even despite the taunting challenge from Bell, she dances back and forth and side to side in preparation for another onslaught. Knowing that she is not defenseless herself, she darts in and strikes twice with the psychic blades, in hopes of inflicting significant damage to the creature.

Root launches a volley of attacks, but the first three hit it and it seems to take absolutely no damage, as if receiving a forceful back massage, though the last one manages to make it buckle very faintly from the force of the blow, but even then the creature seems to be just absolutely tanking damage, and at most, black ichor oozes from its wounds, different from the rest of the Gnolls.
Bell misses her reactionary attack, but her followups hit with just barely enough force to finish it, though not before it launched a response of it's own, then crumpling to the ground with a sad yelp and whine.
Rose continues to heal others, as the light emanates from her from the sky and from her forehead in the crescent moon shape.
Fallan, continuing to tear it up, stabs two more black ichorous holes forming, one deeper than the other, but even then, the creature seems to not falter though it does seem to be shaking slightly, if only from loss of 'blood.' rather than actual weakness.
Before it falls, F1 launches a claw at Bell before her followup attacks.. managing to claw across Bells eye with his shortsword before finally collapsing.
G1 continues to flee, and goes off the map.
H1 moves further south but see's the fight is lost, giving one last set of parting shots, feeling that odd sense when tryign to aim at the glowing harlot, instead he shoots at Root but the attacks are halfhearted, and land in the dirt nearby, before he reluctantly runs west, off the map.
The massive, Swole-Gnoll notes this, but some level of madness only seems to infuriate him further, intent on taking at-least something down, he goes after the target that's been easiest to hit so far... Root.
Y misses with both it's jaws and its first slice, but it's final slice manages to take Root down again. with a filan slash across his chest, givign the dragonborn one more new scar. Feeling sated by it's take-down, it lunges at Fallan, jaws wide (Fallan must make a DC 12 CON save or take (4) poison damage.

Grinning widely, the muscle movement in her face pushing more blood out from her torn up cheek, Bell leans in closely to F1 while her rapier is still pierced through its body. "Hope you enjoyed your last meal. Rest easy now," she whispers in its ear, and then pulls the rapier from its chest. She turns to the leader, holds her rapier up in front of her face in a more formal stance, and then lunges.
Bell takes a deep breath in and out once the Knoll leader falls, letting her adrenaline pass, and her body relax. "Ow! Tch," she grunts with a wince as her cheek burns against the night air, though she doesn't dwell on it. She turns to the Dragonborn and kneels next to him, setting her hands on his shoulder. Lay on Hands: +15 hp. Healing energy flows from Bell, closing some of Root's wounds though she does ensure she leaves remnants of them. She knows how much Root's scars mean to him, and she doesn't wish to rob him of the marks of his experience. "Damn Root, you got beat up enough for all of us. Them gangin' up on you like that was bullshit; 1-on-1 you woulda mopped the floor with any of those guys, even the boss!" she says once he wakes up.
Rose laughed as the remaining enemies fled and turned to Belle as she was healing Root. Thanks Belle! How ya feeling Root? Stick close and let the light heal you back up to tip top shape. Good work everyone, that was a great way to start the morning! Rose would maintain concentration on her aura and allow Root to continuously heal from it for the remainder of its time. The gnolls have no gold on their posessions, their armor is scrap clothing at best, but there are 10 arrows that can be collected, two long bows, 2 shortswords, and 2 spears of 'ok make' but not of enough quality that a shopkeeper would likely buy off you.
Rose's comment would come off awkward considering it's still the first watch in the middle of the night, but regardless, the party gets a late start the next day. Once camp is packed once more you all continue along the trail, and make it a moderate distance as the mountains close in a bit, and you find yourselves in a valley, with only a little room on each side of your cart. Going along more and more, there seem to be no animals or noises despite how otherwise-nice the day itself is. The sun was overheat, providing almost comfortable heat, though just enough to make soft beads of moisture fleck the parties skin.. or in some cases scales if that were possible.
The valley is long, and far too quiet for the longest time. And while everyone else seems to be oblivious to this, distracted by their own thoughts, bored, playing music, or whatever their personal reason may be... Rose notices that something is very off.
Rose feels like they're being followed, or watched, but can't see anything anywhere, on or above the ground, nothing in the hills, no matter how hard she looks, but she just senses something knows they're there.
"Damn! Im out of herbs. I knew i should have gotten some before we left." Root mentions while he steers the wagon. He place his pipe which is empty into his bag. "Bell mind me taking a gulp of ale from your jug?"

Rose would try her best to act natural as she looked around for whatever it was making her feel so uneasy. Not seeing anything or anyone around however she would walk up to Belle and whisper. Hey Belle, you see anything strange? I swear somethings watching us.
"Of course!" Bell entreats Root, and unwraps the jug from where it's strapped to her arm and passes it to him. As the dragonborn raises the jug to his lips, Bell realizes he specified 'Ale,' and corrects him just as he takes a sip. "I mean... you know it's not Ale, though...right?" When Root takes a swig, he would find it to be the purest honey he's ever tasted.
Later, to Rose.
"Watching us, huh?" Bell takes up her shield, and then closes her eyes and focuses for a moment, using her divine sense to see if she can detect any creatures in the vicinity.
As an action, you can detect good and evil. Until the end of your next turn, you can sense anything affected by the hallow spell or know the location of any celestial, fiend, undead within 60 ft. that is not behind total cover. You can use this feature 4 times per long rest.
(in case anything is invisible or camouflaged, but if they're hiding behind boulders or trees this won't help, although if they are peeking to aim bows or crossbows, that wouldn't be total cover)
Rose continues to search around casually, making it look like she was just casually interested in the area around her. As I am unsure whether the cart is still moving or not, I can only make the assumption its moving casually based on posts. slowly but surely, Rose can feel the faintest tremors in the ground though what's causing it still eludes her. Meanwhile bell forgoes all pretense, casting her spell quite obviously. Despite holding the spell for several long moments, the presence of any celestials, fiends or undead are not detected and nothing is hallowed within the radius, but because of her focus, she too noticed the tremors, and with every passing second they got closer, and closer until it felt like they were beneath the pair.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Noticing the tremors coming from beneath, Bell hops from the cart and draws her rapier, stomping heavily once she lands; if something is actually underground, she would rather whatever it is attack her rather than damage the cart they'll need for their journey. If allowed, she'll take the dodge action in preparation. "Stop the cart! I'll try to draw it away!"
20ft of movement from cart. Mirthful leaps on the jump from the cart just for funzies: 8
Rose turns to Root as Belle makes her jump and says Root stop the cart we got trouble below us! Taking a page out of Belles book Rose hops out ofnthe cart to try and draw whatever it is away from the cart.
Fallan, who had pretty much spent the cart ride since the gnoll encounter mindlessly rubbing her neck, and running her hand across her face, where the potentially disfiguring slash had occurred finally 'wakes up' and sees her compatriots "abandoning ship" from the 'comfort' of the cart. Completely trusting those that have kept her safe thus far, she grabs her gear and rolls over the side rail of the cart, and stays low to the ground, watching her friends and wondering what they are looking for. When she feels the tremors in her sensitive halfling feet, she will likely keep backing away until the ground seems non-mobile.
Tasting the Honey catches Root off guard "Bleh" he coughs passing the jug back"Good but to sweet for my taste." He smiles and continues to drive the cart(Wagon lol). Later down the road the sudden tremors and the warnings from his friends. Root pulls on the reins "Woah, there girls. Woah..." Root will try to calm the horses.

Bell hops from the cart not only gaining height but distance as well, landing heavily quite a bit away as the cart itself slows to a stop. Fallan rolling over the edge and moving slowly away from it.
