The group heads quickly through the city which is bustling even at this hour. Yartar being a center of trade meaning the place was likely open around the clock, and perpetually lit. Walking between the buildings which were all made of some type of stone, or mud like those of modern day arabia, with little slit windows here and there. Most of the city was lit up by magical light but torches could still be seen on the less well off buildings. A single large point of light hovered over the market of the city, making you all wonder how anyone could get any sleep in such a place so brightly lit.
The market was abustle with people buying, selling, trading, and so forth, fine smelling food, lathered with sauces and seasonings to make the mouth water were being hawked just outside the markets edge, trying to lure people in with good food from exotic lands, with rare and unknown flavors, including pastries, gels, and other desert items.
Heading to the hall itself, it was a massive, palatial building that looked more fit for a king than anything. Just outside the door, were two lion statues, each in mirrored but opposite poses, laying yet roaring in different directions and looking closely, one would see that within the maws were bars and cages meant to hold captives, though none currently resided within.
The doors were massive and had to be pushed or pulled open by those standing at it in wait of guests. Inside, featured a number of columns that held up its overhanging, gable style roof. The chambers within were quite spacious, carrying the voices of anyone inside. The interior floor was made of the finest marble as were the interior walls. Fine paintings decorating the side of what appeared to be a place a baron, king, or other such royal would hold court, but it has been since transformed into the main feasting hall, where hundreds of merchants were sitting at tables eating meats, drinking wine, talking business and so forth. it was actually rather loud and raucous if only by the sheer number of people here.
The place was, for lack of any better word, fit for kings.
"Ummm, can we afford this place? Maybe we should just fall asleep after feasting on some of those delicious smelling foods. That may be a better place to be? Or do you know someone here, Rose?"
Bell looks around and takes a swig from her jug. "Ehrm, this does seem like a little overkill... which is fine, but I doubt the commodities are worth the coin, especially if we're just passing through."

"Food and drinks?" Fallan asks as the marble floor squeaked as she did a quick 180 pivot on the balls of her feet. "You know I'm in. But the food better measure up to the decoration. Walking through that open air market raised the bar pretty high for the cooking arts! What are we having first? Second?...."
Rose pats Fallan and Belle on the back and says Ah its only a mere 25 gold a night! We can afford the expense. But yes let's get some food, if we really want a cheaper place to stay I know a place. Eager to get food Rose follows Fallan and Root
With the majority consensus reached to stay at the palatial inn that used to be the home of the Waterbaron himself, converted in the last few years to become a source of additional money for an already overgreedy man. The smells of the feasting area where awash with scents rivaling, if not exceeding expectations. Meats cooked to varying degree's of wet or dry to suit every pallet, seasonings stinging the taste buds of those who hadn't even taken a bite yet. The area was filled with the scents of foods so varied it was impossible to tell exactly how many different varieties existed from vegetation to meat, to fruits both cooked and plain.
This place was meant to satisfy every need of its customers, and it seemed like nearly a hundred servers were buzzing about like bee's or ants bringing delicacies that would make even the finest food connoisseur would be excited. The tables and chairs were grander than even most barons were accustomed to, and looked just as comfortable as one would expect from high-class society.
It takes several minutes for you all to find a table that could accommodate your group without needing to split up, andw when finally the group sat, almost instantly it was as if you hadn't existed before and suddenly became visible. Four servers came to the table, one a male high elf, fit in a high quality suit that only added to his races natural elegance, with platinum blonde locks tied behind him in a ponytail, and gleaming emerald eyes. A human female with jet black hair, and hazel-grey eyes as piercing as stones wearing a dress that was functional enough to allow her to do her job, while enhancing her elegance. And lastly, a Fiery redheaded male human, in a suave sweater with suspenders, his face only slightly marred with freckles peppering his cheeks. And lastly a male drow, limned in attire that accentuated the dark color of his skin, and enhanced the rugged elegance of his otherwise dire race.
In near unison, each of them speaking to one of you individually they all ask with onyl slight variations in the exact wording Welcome to the Waterbaron's Hall honored guest, we hope our accommodations are to your satisfaction. We apologize that we must inform you that all services require payment up-front, however, we can assure you that our food and establishment are on par with the food royalty can eat, at a fair price for the discerning customer. It will be twenty five gold per night if you wish to use our rooms, and ten gold per course of food. Simply tell us what sort of food you desire, and we will have a full course of your greatest culinary desire brought in under five minutes. And the Drow adds, looking to Rose Welcome back, Rosorla Bright.... moon. he says, hesitating, though in the fashion of one recalling a name.
You may order whatever you wish, at 10 GP/course. If you will only be getting 1 + a room it will be 35 GP total. They will also need to know if you will all be getting seperate rooms or if you will want one for a group of your size - this will not alter the price.
"Whaaaa" Root hasn’t seen such lavish style before, he stuck in awe as they finally find a place to sit. Testing his sit he sighs in relief when the servers come "Ah one room, for all of us well if the ladies dont mind it but, if they do two rooms. I want a big steak and a whiskey!"
Root will then proceed to pay the gold.

Rose thinks for a moment and then excitedly says Ooh I'll take the honey glazed lamb chops if you still have them! And thank you! Glad to be back! Rose offers the Drow her trademark smile and places 35 gold on the table. We'll also be needing a room. Rose turns to her friends. Do we want our own rooms or a group room? If its for the group I'll cover it.
As the others talk about lodging decisions, their words fall on deaf ears as far as Fallan is concerned. Though hard to notice, her eyes seem to have glazed over and only the very observant would have noticed the small string of drool creeping out of the corner of her mouth. When she finally speaks, the words almost sound as if coming from someone in a trance.
"Oh, yes, oh yes! I'll have some of all they are having... steak; whiskey; Cheesecake; fruit; tea; honey-glazed lamb chops; with cheeses, brie, gouda, and cheddar; hot soup - the best you have; and pancakes - covered with blueberry compote and sticky maple syrup; COLD milk and some cookies.....yes, yes, that should do nicely..." She digs through her belongings and almost without thought lets 175 gold coins fall through her fingers, heading in the direction of her server. Then, almost as if returning from a fog, she apologizes - first to the server now collecting the coins, and then to her compatriots: "So sorry.... yeah, sure, group room is fine. I'll stay with any of you for the night."
Rose looks stunned as despite being plenty familiar with her own peoples appetites let alone Fallans, this seemed quite excessive. Uh Fallan dear are you sure you can spare all that coin, or can even eat all that food? And before she forgets Rose turns to the servants Oh and a group suite will do it seems. Thank you.
"Watch me." Two words and a big grin belie the natural tendencies of her appetite and aversion to the rations that the group had subsisted on for longer than she cared to remember.
Rose blinks dumbfounded but then laughs and smiles. Well alright then! Oh! Rose turns to the server. And a glass of red wine please, whatever you recommend.Rose will pay whatever the cost of the wine is and await food.
Each of the servers pulls out a small parchment, and a pen held by mage-hand swiftly writes out each order (as each of them except Fallan's) is rather simple. The hustle and bustle around you never ceases, and it's almost as lively as a festival and smells like a royal feast simultaneously. None of the servers seem impatient as they await the orders, though they betrayed no sense of relief from being able to 'have a break while the customers decided' either. The area inside we well lit but dim enough that the eyes weren't harmed by the light. The whole area seemed the ultimate customer-service experience.
As everyone made their orders known, while Fallan drooled like a child in candy land, each server took the required pay for the service, the one nearest Fallan, the non-drow-Elf smiles a bit and laughs at the display, but not at Fallan herself Very eager aren't we? I don't believe your order will come to quite that much. he says, quickly tallying the total costs of what she had ordered and what would fit into a 'course' before saying The total for your requested meal, little flower, is seventy-five gold pieces for the entire course. We pride ourselves on affordable luxury. The additional five gold is for the specific drinks~ he says, counting out the required payment and returning the rest of the gold pieces to her, before as one, though NOT-drone like they all swiftly join the 'beehive' and flow out of the crowd after the Drow says to Rose I pray that you enjoy yourself this time as well, Miss Rosorla. Your continued patronage is appreciated, as well as your associates.
Once gone, it barely takes but a few minutes before each requested meal was brought out on a Tensers Floating Disc, and placed before the one who'd ordered it. Eachmeal looked not only professionally made, but just smelling it made the mouth water, and the drinks were served in the finest of crystal glasses, or in similarly crystalline containers that were so clean as to be almost transparent. Fallan's took the longest a,d actually required the disc to stay there for the duration of her meal. But everything brought was of such high quality that it was almost impossible to believe. The glazes, toppings, and other such things were perfect, nothing was skimmed, nor overdone, and seemed to be at the finest edge of where each morsel of food was either hot or cold (based on what it was) could be eaten immediately while still skirting that edge of too hot/cold for consumption.
A spell was cast and Rose, in a similar fashion to a VR helmet, was shown the exact route to the parties room, so that when the party was ready to leave for their quarters, they could.
Surprisingly, Bell takes the time to adjust her napkin, select the proper utensils, and then proceeds to enjoy her meal with distinguished etiquette, laying a free hand against her cheek and smiling brightly after each bite as she enjoys her cheesecake.
