Nothing happens when Gadston touches the door and he hears nothing inside.
Direcris and Dench don't believe they have heard the name Father Cyran before.
Dench walks into the room. At a quick glance it appears to be a well appointed bedroom with no traps or hidden dangers. The doors and lamps do not appear to be magical which makes their movement and lighting suspicious.
Gadston opens the door. As the light from the hall peaks into the dark chamber he sees a pale woman with an ink pot and quill writing in a book with a stack of books next to her. Four animated skeletons are mimicking her movements and writing in their own books. She peers up at the knight with red eyes and scowls.
She and the skeletons are about ten feet away from Gadston with a table in between them. All appear to be armed with swords.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dench investigates the doors and lamps in the room he is in: 22. He'll walk up to them, but not touch either. He is listening for the voice of our host.
As far as Dench can tell the doors and lamps seem completely mundane.
The woman snarls at the question and calls out, "Jeeves, close the door!" The door begins to close by itself. (Gadston make a Strength check if you'd like to try to hold it open)
"Not magical," Dench says to Direcris, "but moving and providing light. Suspicious! I'm not sure if we can trust this room." He whispers, "Our host certainly isn't trustworthy."
Hearing Uri and Sir Gadston, he'll move toward them.
Getting tired of the little games going on Gadston will go ahead and enter the room with the closing door. "Right" he says "let's get this going then."
Direcris follows, getting there with Dench just as the door closes. He tries the door, (Strength: 12) before pounding on it. "Gadston! Uri! What is in there?"
The pale lady closes her book with the skeletons following suit. She growls "get them" and the four skeletons move to intercept Gadston and Uri. Meanwhile she grabs a satchel of some kind and opens a window on the far side of the room.
The skeletons leap over the table with swords drawn, half swipe at the human while the other half take on the bugbear. Shortsword v Gadston, 16 to hit, 5 piercing damage Shortsword v Gadston, 22 to hit, 3 piercing damage Shortsword v Uri, 15 to hit, 7 piercing damage Shortsword v Uri, 6 to hit, 5 piercing damage
The door to the right opens again. The vampire that brought out the empty vials who Father Cyran referred to as "Warren", throws a round-bottom flask filled with a bubbling liquid at both Dench and Direcris. Acid v Dench, 17 to hit, 7 acid damage Acid v Direcris, 4 to hit, 9 acid damage
A unseen force tries to throw the knight backwards into the hall. Gadston make a Strength check vs 18 (winning on ties) or take 6 bludgeoning damage
(Unfortunately that is a Strength check, not save for Gadston which means he will take that damage as he is thrown against the wall. Let me know if you want to amend your turn, but your current one would still work.)

Sorry...in your post you requested a Strength check. I used the Saving throw for Strength, which I thought was what you were asking for...which is +7 and did not add in the +3 for his aura of protection. So I am unsure of what you were asking for. Can you clarify?
"Father Cyran," Dench whispers to himself. Is that a title? He consults his knowledge of religion: 12.
Dench also explores the room with the open door. He investigates for traps or other dangers: 18.

Sir Gadston
Gadston will try the door handle and open the door if he can.
Uri waits beside Gadston to see what is inside the room.

Sir Gadston
Seeing the room and it's occupants Gadston asks "Writing something interesting there?" as he takes a combat stance.
Direcris stands in the doorway, watching Dench but also keeping an eye on Gadston and Uri. "Can we trust this?" He asks Dench.

Strength Check to keep door open: 18
Uri will help Gadston (24), shoving his gangling shoulder against the door.

Gadston manages to keep the door open with Uri coming to back him up. Dench and Direcris emerge into the hallway and see the scene.

Sir Gadston
Gadston's Strength Save: 9
Gadston calls down holy energy, bathing his Long Sword in its energy and attacks the foes.
Gadston's Bonus Action: Gadston will cast Thunderous Smite
Gadston will split his actions between the 2 skeletons. Since they are in melee range he will attack each once:
Atttack on Skeleton 1: 16
Damage: 10
Thunder Damage: 6
Attack on Skeleton 2: 12
Damage: 9
Thunder Damage: 4
