Dain, upon seeing Fianna attacking, rushes to the stairs and flings his hammer at the captain.
(OOC: I won't make an attack roll yet - waiting on the DM to agree that we can. Also, I am wondering if a whole round passed since Dain squished the crew member? - to see if I have dropped out of rage. If so, and assuming we are allowed to act, Dain will also rage for a second time).
Fainna springs up from her cover behind the jolly boat and rushes to the rails. She launches her readied cantrip, blasting the staff-wielding teleporter. He is battered and injured but far from down.
(Combat begins from the top of the new initiative.)
Dain may rage again and launch his hammer. Kelnan may also act.
(OOC: As we came out of combat and I lost my rage, and we're restarting, I've a question: Can Dain reach the captain with a 25 ft. move action in order to whack him with his maul, this round?)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dain screams a dwarven curse and hurls his hammer at the captain.
Move: run to the foot of the stairs (already taken into account on the map). Bonus Action: enter rage; 2nd of the day. Action: Ranged attack with hammer - Attack: 12 Damage: 4
((Note the attack roll assumes the captain is 20 ft. or less away, thus not suffering Disadvantage. If that is wrong I can re-roll the attack))

Molo casts shatter behind the captain such that it’ll catch only the captain and his ally on the deck there. DC 13 Con save for half of 9 thunder damage
He then turns to Dain and warbles out a lizardbrain bit of inspiration: “Dwarves don‘t bleed!”
Also at 3rd level, you learn to inspire others in battle. A creature that has a Bardic Inspiration die from you can roll that die and add the number rolled to a weapon damage roll it just made. Alternatively, when an attack roll is made against the creature, it can use its reaction to roll the Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to its AC against that attack, after seeing the roll but before knowing whether it hits or misses.
Fianna fires another crackling beam of plasma over the rails at the man boarding their boat. It misses, harmlessly bouncing off the deck of their little boat. The man grimaces in an odd smile, showing.a mouth full of crooked teeth. Fossie looks confused in bewildered in the darkness.
Molo and Katernin may act next. (Katernin will duck under the boat, prone, and dodge unless I'm told otherwise.)
The Captain snarls and fires his hand crossbow at Kelnan. Hand Crossbow Attack: 22 Piercing damage: 8
Kelnan sees the captain firing and raises his rod emit a swirling disc, casting Shield. He misses the incoming arrow, but it disintegrates against a silvery barrier when it reaches the wizard's body.
(18 AC until my next turn, Arcane Ward has 1 HP remaining)

A painfully loud blast of thunderous sound detonates behind the captain. Captain Con Save: 15 Sailor Con Save: 21
They are startled by the explosion and receive minor injures from flying shards of wood. Katernin dives for cover.
FIanna watches as the man with the staff steps backward and fires a shimmering green arrow at your confused skipper. Shimmering Arrow Attack: 8. Acid Damage: 14
Crit Damage: + 8 Fossie gurgles as the arrow pierces her throat. She falls dead to the deck of the Stone . The man, who has no visible bow, kicks off the hull of the ship and pushes the Stone away from the larger vessel. He laughs a "Yip!" of delight as he begins to vanish into the gloom.
Dain (the Bloodless) and Kelnan (of the Shimmering Shield) may act again.

Dain charges up the stairs and rapidly crosses the short distance to the captain, swinging his weighty maul around his head as he advances. He never stops the momentum of the hammer, letting it take him in a full circle, heedless of the risk of a cutlass in the back, preferring to build the power of a huge swing.
Move: close the distance and engage the captain. Action: Recklessly Attack - Attack: 19 Damage: 13 Notes: Now providing Advantage to anyone who attacks him until his next turn. Still raging (half damage from most sources)
Dain scrambles up the remaining rungs of the ladder and clobbers the captain, still reeling from Molo's explosion, with his maul. The captain's sturdy bulk and thick armor absorb much of the impact, but you can see from his face that he is in significant pain from the blow.

Kelnan moves foreward to get clear of his allies and fires a Ray of Frost at the captain.
Attack: Unable to parse dice roll. Cold Damage: 1, -10 ft speed
Dain's hammer glances off the captain's studded leather armor, and clatters to the shadowy deck. (He's only about ten feet from Dain.)
Kelnan's cantrip also flies wide, missing the burly old sailor and lighting up the sky briefly.
The Captain snarls and fires his hand crossbow at Kelnan.
Hand Crossbow Attack: 24 Piercing damage: 7
He then strides over to Dain, still standing on the ladder, and swings at him with his longsword:
Longsword Attack: 10 Slashing damage: 8

The boy with the lantern steps back and puts it down. He draws a scimitar and readies it, but does not attack.
The older sailor on the forecastle fires his crossbow at Dain:
Light Crossbow Attack: 15 Piercing damage: 9
Both bolts strike (unless they have any tricks up their sleeves) - Kelnan in his shoulder; Dain in his calf.
Fianna, Katernin, and Molo may all act next. (Katernin will duck under the boat, prone, and dodge unless I'm told otherwise.)
