Katernin charges in, conjuring into existence her own ghostly weapon. The fiendish spirits instantly attack her. DC13 Wisdom saving throw vs spirits: 12. On a failed save, she takes 11 necrotic damage; half on success.
Her spiritual weapon impales the yellow priest. Before he can even utter a word, he is instantly killed. The spirits dissipate.
Combat is paused. The priest is defeated; the dapper swordsman nowhere to be seen.
56 damage.. which hurts and all. But Krunch is still standing… Unless his turn starts before Katernin slaps the foe down? Cause if Krunch has to make that Wis save, pass or fail he’s collapsing!
Krunch will instruct Berry to fly a widening circular pattern to try to find the straggler and if they do to return to within range and advise. Krunch will start stripping and searching the dead man, looking for anything of interest.
While Krunch catches his breath, Katernin scans her surroundings. Perception: 6
...but she's too exhausted from her dash across the moors to concentrate. Krunch manages to catch his breath and soothe at least the edges of the pain from his injuries, but he's feeling rough as well. (Disadvantage on ability checks for both of you until you have a Long Rest.)
But Berry sees something from high above - fresh bootprints in the patchy, melting sleet. Heading west. Perhaps a hundred feet to the west of your current position (away from the stairwell.)
Krunch finds a golden disk strung around Ozymandius' neck like an oversized necklace. It is inscribed with complex geometric designs. He has little else except an ordinary (if a little ornate) mace, and a chain shirt. His pockets are empty.
Meanwhile, Kelnan continues to fly rapidly through the damp winter air toward Krunch and Katernin.
Dain and Molo guard their bitter captive, now stripped of her armor, weapons, and possessions.
"This island is ours, pirates" growls Kavana. "Robbing us and killing us will not alter that fact. By the pacts of our parents and our grandparents, this land belongs to the Patient One. Our roots go deep here. You can steal our meager belongings, but our souls will sleep within the island itself until it is time to awake again. There will be a reckoning. You are not welcome here."
Krunch tosses the golden-disc necklace to Katernin. “Any idea this anything?” he asks, still going through the stuff. He ends up wrapping the mace around the chain shirt and sticking them both into his pack for now.
“Berry, my bird, sees tracks. That way,” Krunch tells her, pointing in the direction. “The missing one. Should we follow?”

Katernin examines the decorative object which had been strung from the priest's neck. The medallion is a golden disk inscribed with complex geometric designs. Religion: 5
She recognizes the design as an abstraction of the spiral of Tharizdun – the Elder Eye, the Chained God. An evil deity followed only by madmen and hidden cults, Katernin has read, a god said to be long-imprisoned on some other plane of existence.
Berry reports no further signs of prints, movement, or humanoid life other than Kelnan, who is rapidly approaching from the air.
Meanwhile, Dain and Molo continue to guard the guard. "Take us with you," implores Kavana quietly to Molo. "We need passage. It's the least you can do."
The charred corpse of the cultist seems to grin at Dain from the bottom of the ruined stairwell. His hackles are raised, but it remains inanimate.
“We may as well wait for your flying friend. They may have news. Or if we continue hunt, three is better than two…” Krunch says and sits back to try to relax until Kelnan arrives.
Kelnan lands, joining Katernin and Krunch at the boulder as they stand over Ozymandius' fallen body. Berry circles far overhead, watching for signs of the missing cultist.
Meanwhile, back at the staircase, Kavana makes her case to Molo. "You came here and robbed us, killed the survivors. There weren't many of us left. You can keep what's left - there's not much. A few coins, some blades, some of our gear, some fish stew. You can have it all in exchange for passage to the Styes or anywhere on the mainland."
"Berry sees tracks of the other one. That way...." Krunch advises Kelnan, pointing off in the direction in which the hawk saw the footsteps in the snow.
"We go and finish this? Or we wait, rest, hope they do not sneak up on us?"
If at least two of you (including Kelnan) choose to help investigate the tracks (some 100 feet further west), Kelnan may roll a Survival check with advantage to try to follow them. (Checks by Krunch or Katernin would have exhaustion penalties nullify any Help advantage. Kelnan's eyes are still pretty fresh!)

Kelnan sees the deceased Ozymandias upon arrival and sets down, frowning. "I had hoped this one was smart enough to stop fighting."
He beckons the others over to the tracks and tries to follow them, calling out toward the runner. "Come help us get off this barren rock. I count one companion left, you won't last long here without help."

Everyone may act.
Krunch took:
8 necrotic from the evil spirits
31 radiant from the ranged spell attack
17 force from ghostly axe
56 damage.. which hurts and all. But Krunch is still standing… Unless his turn starts before Katernin slaps the foe down? Cause if Krunch has to make that Wis save, pass or fail he’s collapsing!
Krunch still stands. Katernin slew the yellow priest before the spirits could attack again. They vanished when Ozymandius fell.
Combat is over, or at least paused.
Krunch grabs his Second Wind for 11 and then sends his flail crashing down on the bad man’s head several times for good measure…
“Should we drag him back to your friends? Or we just take what’s valuable and leave for the animals?” Krunch asks…
Katernin holds up a finger and scan the horizon. "He couldnt have gotten much farther," she says, "where did he go?"
