Somehow Fianna manages to urge the single lizardfolk to return to its quarters. There's no way to lock it from the outside, short of pushing something heavy up against it. And there's still two lizardfolk downstairs somewhere with Molo and Dain.
"Okay Molo. Are these weapons owned by da lizardfolk? Are they smugglers? And who are they supposed ta be delivering the weapons to? Can ye get some sensible answers from those scalies?"
"Okay Molo. Are these weapons owned by da lizardfolk? Are they smugglers? And who are they supposed ta be delivering the weapons to? Can ye get some sensible answers from those scalies?"
“No idea, these weirdos don’t respond well to questions. Let’s follow them?”
The two lizardfolk march briskly through the crew quarters, up the steps, and back onto the main deck with Fianna, Katernin, and Kelnan. They cross over to the starboard door under the poop deck and open it, pausing only to glance for a second at the dead captain's body.
Inside the door is an officer's cabin. It's clean, and its furniture in good repair. A single bunk, made up with bed linen, has its head against the bulkhead running along the centerline of the ship next to a wooden partition squaring off the corner near the main deck. A writing desk is set against the hull toward the stern; it has a drawer on each side and three trays on the top. Also on the desktop, just in front of the trays, is an inkpot, two quill pens, a small knife, and a pewter container that resembles a pepper pot. Against the desk is set an upright wooden chair, and beside it is a wooden, brass-bound chest. Against the hull on the starboard side is a padded leather couch. In front of it, a bearskin rug lies on the deck, while beneath the couch can be seen a large metal box. An unlit hooded lantern hangs from the ceiling.
"They don't seem to be particularly afraid of us despite being in a weak position. Looks like either they're planning to take some valuable trinket and run... or they want to show us their contract."
(Is there a door to the port side cabin? If so Kelnan will take a peek inside.)
((So the lizard folk know draconic and are ignoring Molo when he attempts to speak to them in the language? I’d prefer to be clear that they share a language before getting too drastic here...))
“We tell them that she died in the line of duty, executed by vile pirates before we were able to stop them. In other words, the truth for a change... Of course we’ll need to f....” Fianna was answering Katernin before the parade came back on deck.
“Hey! Stop!” Fianna calls out to the lizard kin. “Molo, yell at them to stop!”
“What for the one in there,” Fianna tells Katernin, pointing to the door, and then strides over to where the brouhaha is happening.
(Molo and the lizardfolk have indeed been conversing. All translations have been in a PM between @nschrock and I.)
Ignoring Fianna, the pair of lizardfolk continue to ransack the officer's cabin. They open all the drawers in the desk, dig through the laundry, and move the furniture. One of them pulls out the chest from under the couch and attempts to open it. It is trapped: a short scything blade flies up from a hidden compartment in its side. The lizardfolk attempts to dodge - Dex Save:1 ...
... but is far too slow, suffering a nasty gash (damage: 9) from it.
Meanwhile, Kelnan opens the other door he was standing nearby.
It appears to be another officer's cabin. The furnishings and fittings are of good quality, and the place is tidy. A single bunk, made up with bed linen, has its head against a bulkhead running along the centerline of the ship. A polished wood table stands in the center of the room, bolted to the deck. On the table is a silver bowl containing an assortment of fruit, a silver carafe half full of a light red liquid, and a silver goblet. Set at the table are two upright wooden chairs and a padded leather chair. On the deck toward the stern is a wooden, brass-bound chest. Beside it is a pair of highly polished black leather boots. From the center of the ceiling, over the table, hangs an unlit hooded lantern.

Fianna will throw an Eldritch Blast at the lizard who was not injured by the trap. If they’re not listening then they need to be stopped, we didn’t defeat pirate just to let these guys take over!
The lizardfolk are quick on the draw. They grab the whole trapped chest and run for the rails. "ડ્રેગન, ચલાવો! છટકી!" one shouts.
The third lizardfolk responds by dashing out of its cabin and following the other two.
They dive over the rails, overboard. (Pending opportunity attacks, below.)
(...We didn't establish everyone's exact positions, but I'll rule that Dain may have an opportunity attack against either of the fleeing lizardfolk, and Fianna against the third companion leaving their quarters. Kelnan is in the other doorway, Molo is still catching up to Dain, and Katernin is too far away.)
Everyone may act (resolved in order: Katernin, FinFin, Molo, Kelnan, Fianna, Dain.)

Fianna will try to tackle/grapple the lizard thing that comes out of the room...
Grapple: 10
The target of your grapple must be no more than one size larger than you and must be within your reach. Using at least one free hand, you try to seize the target by making a grapple check instead of an attack roll: a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the target's Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (the target chooses the ability to use). You succeed automatically if the target is incapacitated. If you succeed, you subject the target to the grappledcondition. The condition specifies the things that end it, and you can release the target whenever you like (no action required).
Katernin watches all of this as it unfolds, not sure if the Lizardfolk are just leaving or if they're preparing for something else. Regardless, she moves up to be closer to the rest of the party.
Movement: Move to be closer to Dain
Action: Ready Guiding Bolt for any incoming hostile lizardfolk.
Dain isn't going to swing his maul, even if he has the chance. He is utterly confused by what is going on and can't work out if the lizardfolk are friends or foes. He is readied in case one of them tries to hurt him or a companion though.

Katernin looks to the group, "So... how are we going to tell the townsfolk we've lost on of their own?"
