ooc: btw is it ok if I use the dice provided on the character sheet page?
I too like them myself but sadly they can be meddled with and hence we are not using them. Anyway the character sheets are for your use to keep track of what is going on. Edit them when you experience damage or conditions.
Game starts 10 hours ago, and I'm booted in 8 hours? During my overnight? I've never had any issues doing a daily contribution (often multiple times), but this feels a little abrupt.
Oh, well. It sounds like you've got a replacement. Enjoy your campaign. I'll keep looking, I guess.

It does seem a bit unfair to be honest. If he still wants to participate he could have my place. This thread was intended for new players if i understood right and i have some experiences, so it would be fair to make place for others.
Treewy, I appreciate the gesture, but I don't want to make things awkward, and you stepped up in good faith to help the group. I'd hate to punish you for that.
I'm still open to play, but it's the DM's call, and I'm okay with whatever is decided. If it matters either way, here's my initiative roll.
Brin initiative: 13

What many do is add their character names to a signature file. that keeps them available in every post you make.

But to the surprise of the party he cowared from the cave like it was a giant monster wanting to eat him. Then he started calling to the adventures and crawled towards them. He was unarmed and had a sharp rock embedded in his abdomen.
He called out "grahgrahlllk". Maybe saying something or just cries of pain.
Brin replies, "I do" and turns toward the orc. "What did you say?" he asks.

So you will be going 8.

*I move in from behind the others to stand beside them*
Looks a bit like me uncle
*I look at the orc laying in front of us, trying to see if he's carrying anything*

OOC: I don't understand why Brin is out. Have we even been playing 24 hours yet? The initial post reads:
Playing Human Fighter Karney McKarne in The Great Orca Dungeon.

Quin will take the dodge action and moves a couple steps forward and to the side. At the same time he sheathes his dagger and readies an arrow.
Stretching his neck to try and get a better view he says
"Maybe someone should see if it needs help?"
OOC: just put them at the end of the order and let them continue.

After Quin makes an impressive dodge, Karney moves towards the orc with longsword and shield ready and says: "State your business or die!"

I'd suggest we use our characters' names as we play them btw. I'm getting lost on which does what
How do we do this? Can we change our screen names just for this thread?
Don't think we can so just begin every post with the character name

New initiatives are as follows:
1. Quin(18)
2. Karney(18)
3. Dungeon master (17)
4. Brenna(16)
5. Orion(13)
5. Brin(13)
6. Gormond (11)
7. Vaethyl (9)
We'll follow these initiatives for the rest of this game but not the whole campaign. And sorry for all the problems you may have faced because of me.
Since the orc is confused he can't attack.
He is 5ft from you and 25ft from the cave.
He calls out again "gahhlkk ghaalk".
Make a perception check.
Quin's perception check: 17
Quin turns to the party "Any body speak orc? "
