“Much to learn have you, young one. All shall be revealed in time. The convergence is at hand, and the fate of everything will be decided then.” The old man says, smiling. His body seems to glow, and a light breeze picks up. He slowly disappears, just as the sands blow in the winds. And just like that, he is gone, and this strange encounter is over, giving you much to think about.

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
(pfft Tender just talkin' to air. Not entirely out of character for her, let's be honest)
Tender's eyes widen as the old man glows and disappears. She half reaches out, like she has some power to stop him from going, but her fingers close on nothing and she's left replaying his words in her head, not entirely sure what they mean, but certain they are important. Shaking off the strange stillness, she steps forward to where the old man was standing, looking about for anything that might have been left behind, some proof he'd been there at all.
Fletcher who was watching the situation with confusion addresses Tender "You wanna explain, or have you gone mad? Maybe we should get you to a doctor. An attack by a sea monster is bound to leave some marks..."

Tender briefly squats to pick the amulet up carefully, holding it by the chain in front of her face, looking it over carefully. "I don't think I've gone mad," she says slowly to Fletcher, standing back up with the amulet still in front of her face. "There was a man," she explains. "He was talking to me about...Back home. And he was wearing this." She jiggles the amulet a little.

Kallista heads inside the bank, starting to feel a bit intimidated by the scale of things. She does her best to keep her head down as she looks for a counter to exchange the coins. She also keeps an eye out for anyone particularly suspicious or noticeable.
The bank is fairly quiet, and Kallista can hear a man speaking. “Quickly, quickly friends. Gather your coin. Before the monsters arrive to destroy us all!”

Not wanting to seem suspicious as she waited for Kaillista to return from the bank, Evi would walk through the market trying to find Tender, Fletcher or Orimdal. As she did so, she'd look at the various folks and guards in the crowd to see if any of them were eyeing her suspiciously.

"And what are these Terrors you speak of?" Kallista asks, still keeping her voice low and trying not to cause too much of a scene. Suddenly, she remembers Jullar mentioning something about the serpent they killed being some legendary creature from the north. "Would one of them happen to be a sea serpent?"
(I closed my computer before this posted yesterday. I swear I am not usually this fish brained)
Fletcher grins "So, your not mad...but you saw an invisible man who gave you a creepy bracelet. On a normal day I would probably take you to the doctors, but my life has not been normal recently and I doubt it about to change. If you dont mind me asking, what is back home? I recall you lived in a desert, but thats about it."
He starts to walk along the road, conscious that they are obstructing the way. He starts to make his way to the rendezvous point. (wherever that is)

Tender follows, slipping the amulet on so she doesn't lose it. "We've definitely seen stranger things," she agrees with a grin, though it fades quickly. "Back home is the monastery I grew up in. It was called the Dead Plains monastery, but it was a beautiful place of learning with massive libraries and huge murals." Her smile returns as she talks, her gaze taking on that wistful, faraway look that meant her mind was full of memories of running through the halls as a child, late to yet another lesson. "It was all I knew for most of my life. We were right on the edge of the desert, only three small towns around the base of the monastery. Nothing like this," she gestures to the bustle of the city around them. "I wasn't expecting to find anyone who knew my people here." Much less someone who wasn't actually there.
"Um," Tender pauses as she tries to figure out how to answer that. "He said the convergence is at hand? And everything will be decided?" She shrugs, shaking her head. "That was the most ominous thing. Mostly, he just told me I have a lot to learn still," she huffs a small laugh. "That, at least, was familiar."
"Yeah, a convergence sounds like something everyone should know about," Tender agrees, looking around the market as they walk. She wonders who she might be able to ask about the phoenix symbol, curious to know the meaning behind it. "You think everyone's done shopping? I kind of lost track of time talking to the old man."

Tender spies the mysterious amulet that the man wore. It glints in the sun, the shine calling to you, begging for you to pick it up.

Kallista tries to single out where the man's voice is coming from and approach him. "What monsters? The werewolves?" She asks quietly.
((Is he shouting this to the whole bank or having a normal conversation with somebody?))

Most other people in this bank ignore him, and those who don’t scoff and give him weird looks. You’re able to have this conversation solely with him.
”Werewolves? No no!” The man says. “The Terrors of the North.”
