"Well, unfortunately, the start of the Great Conflict made Zurstac a rather taboo subject. I'm not too sure of anything else about the creatures." Jullar sits back down. "Also curious that only a few of you can see them and the rest can't." He adds.

Tender yawns, leaning against the side of the carriage as she listens to Jullar. "Huh. How come the start of the Great Conflict made Zurstac a taboo subject?" she asks, confused.
"You said creatures, plural," Kallista adds. "Is it possible we've seen multiple different beasts of the same species?" She had assumed it was a singular individual following them, but Jullar spoke as if many existed.
To Tender, Jullar says, "Knurath was associated with the city through unclear reasons. No one knows for sure how he connects to the city, but he does in some way." To Kallista, Jullar says, "Yes, it is speculated that there are many."

Tender hums to herself, her curiosity only growing. "It looked at us, that first time," she murmurs, then refocuses. "It's interesting, though, that we keep seeing them. I want to know why." And how they were connected to Knurath. "You think those guys we ran into have something to do with it? We did see it after we killed them and they were with Knurath, right?"
Fletcher shakes his head "Probably not the best thing to bring up. Yes we did see them, but we took care of them" He tactfully leaves out the part where the big one got away.

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
"Truthfully, I don't know that I can sleep with these developments." Jullar says, his eyes still wide. He settles into his seat, his hand hovering near his dagger.

Orimdal stirs from his sleep to join Kallista in the second watch and drive the cart slowly along the road. Suddenly wide awake and ready to go, Orimdal was used to rising early and quickly to start working at his shop. "Well Kally, yer up with me fer a bit then hey? Hopefully uneventful leg fer us then," and he flicks the reins to spur the horses onwards at a steady pace.
As Orimdal takes the reins from Fletcher's hands, Kallista ushers him into the back of the carriage with the others. "Sleep," she insists, staring him down for a moment before joining Orimdal out front. "Hopefully. I think we've had enough excitement for one night."
Evi heads to the back of the cart once Kallista awakens and takes over for the second shift. Though she attempts to sleep, her rest is fitful at best as she dreams of herself in front of mysterious monster birds and evil hordes lead by Knurath, the evil man himself seeming to stare into her soul causing her to sweat and toss & turn throughout the rest of the night.
The night passes uneventfully, although Ormidal is at one point hit in the head by a rock thrown from the jungle. It turned out to be a Jiluusa, Jullar tells you, mischievous little ape creatures. In the morning, you can see smoke in the sky, and small huts up ahead. "Ah, we're almost there." Jullar says.

Fletcher didn't sleep well, and has dark rings under his eyes. However, he is trying his best to be uplifting. He starts to prepare breakfast for the group.
"I say, what's this? Breakfast? Thanks, young man." Jullar says as he walks around the carriage. He seems to have forgotten all about last night's revelations, or has at least suppressed what he was feeling last night. "Though this meal smells delicious, I'm going ahead to the town to let them now of our arrival. So they're prepared. Not often do the tribes get many visitors. If any of you would like to join me, you may."
