"Pretty cool that we killed a legendary serpent," Tender muses, watching the others fiddle with the items. "Evi has a point, too; if they think we're fish food -sorry, Jullar- then we might have an advantage -" she breaks off, eyes widening as she watches Kallista jump so high into the air. It startles a grin out of her, and she shakes her head. "That'll come in handy, no doubt."
"Yeah..." Kallista stares at the ring, eyes wide with shock. "Hold on, let me try-" She backs up a few feet, then tries the jump again with a running start.

Orimdal looks at the fan as the boat continues its path (Arcana: 9). After a little time inspecting it, he will place it back down, ensure the boat maintains its course and then pick up the gems, trying to figure out if they are just gems or if there is some magical power within them (Arcana?: 21).
(OOC - I don't know what it's coming up with roll warning? & now the warning is gone... weird.)
"Well ain't that a sight," Orimdal will say as he sees Kallista jumping. "Glad we could rid the seas o' such a creature, Jullar. Yer welcome ta the instrument. I no think any o' us need it."
(Is Kallista trying for a high jump or long jump?)
Ormidal unfortunately can't discern the nature of the fan, but he can tell that the gems are not at all magical. They are valuable, though 50 GP for each Sardonyx, which Ormidal knows being a smith and a Dwarf.
Jullar hesitantly takes the Bandore. "For such an item to have fallen into my hands... I feel truly blessed." He says. He begins to lightly strum it, focusing his gaze on the Serpent. It slowly starts to rise off the deck of the boat, until it reaches a height of 20 feet. It moves with the ship, until Jullar stops playing, at which time it is gently set back down on the deck.

"Might be best for all of us to avoid attention," Tender agrees, giving up and slowly sitting back down on the deck where she's more comfortable. "Let them think it killed us for as long as we can."
Orimdal pockets the gems and nods, "A trophy would be good fer those o' you who wish one. I no need it. Just a pity the scale an' hide on it were no use fer my armour makin'." He sighs with disappointment.
He looks out in the direction of the boat's travel again, making sure it maintains its course and trying to see land "I really could use some trainin' with all these vehicles I'm now havin' ta use. Maybe if we get some downtime, p'haps," he says to himself (Perception: 14).

"These are some very unusual items," Evi comments as she looks over the remaining magical items without particular interest in claiming any of them. Just as the thought crossed her mind, she felt a rumble of displeasure in her head from her patron, and sighing in annoyance, added, "But if nobody wants that fan I can hold onto it. Maybe I can figure out what it does at some point. As for that monster though feel free to chuck it..." Another rumble in her head stops her mid sentence, this time so painfully loud that she had to ground her teeth together and clamp her hands to her ears to reduce the pain. Once the sensation had faded away, she looked sheepishly to the group and lied "Sorry, random migraine." (Deception: 21) before continuing with, "But actually, I'd like some trophies from it, particularly some of the larger teeth and some scales too."
"If Jullar doesn't want to take credit for its death, I suggest we get rid of the serpent before we reach Koria. Pulling into the docks with it on board would definitely arouse suspicion, something we are trying to avoid." Kallista kneels down next to the beast's head and attempts to pull out some of its fangs, using a dagger to help. She'll pass them out to whoever wants them and keep a few for herself. They might be worth some amount of money if she can find the right buyer.
Kallista jumps 9 feet in the air (if my math is right anyways).

"Very well." Jullar says, slightly disappointed. "We should at least take some sort of trophy."
