Craben will question "Atuar, what are those strange creatures that we keep seeing?" Craben will point at the strange creatures dragging the ship. "And who is Aremag?"
The guide looks at you quizically and then a figurative light bulb goes off in his head. "Ah yes you foreigners! These be dinosaurs. We use them to pull the heavy things and reach tall place!" However his eyes turn dark as you mention Aremag. "He is warden of the bay... do not ask more."
The tabaxi minstrel nods his head, and simply moves on to ask another passerby.
Atuar quickly recovers his jovial and happy nature and says: "They not dangerous, as long as you do not poke with stick! Do not use fire either. Fire not good for them. Though... some dangerous. Some have big teeth. You no have to worry about those though. As for study, hmmm..." He thinks for a moment stroking his chin, "You go to dinosaur pens in Tiryki Anchorage, some held there."
You all continue through the streets of Port Nyanzaru. The vibrancy of all of the colors practically leaping out at you while Atuar eventually points to the humongous tent that you're now adjacent to. "This is Grand Souk! All durable good and minor luxury things found here. Real luxury go to Jewel Market, and everyday things go to Red Bazaar, like Tej! Grand Souk has almost anything you ever dream of though. Great place to browse, but watch those who browse your purse, security not as tight as in Jewel Market." He chuckles at his own joke and then moves along.
Meanwhile Gwen still rushes through the streets. She begins to notice that there are a load of flora and fauna on the side of the streets. Flowers, green plants, and vines are everywhere! Some even seem to spring out of the building stones themselves. She also notices many people trimming the vines and flowers, which, on some houses, have actually gone through the entire foundation itself! Eventually she finds herself at a bit of a crossroads. The wealth and elegance of the Merchant Ward begins to dwindle even more as she passes by the Grand Souk. Nevertheless, it's not entirely devoid of wealth. Although the obvious fortune of the Merchant Prince villas that she observed are gone, several well-to-do looking houses and buildings still occupy the area to the south. Although as she looks down the other route of the crossroads (to the West) she sees a terrible slum district past the elegant and pristine archway (quite a contrast). Two sheer, jungle-draped ridges flank a deep ravine. Ramshackle buildings cling to the sides of the ridges, each structure seemingly built atop the lower one’s roof. The streets are completely packed, but not just with people. Small tiny ravenous scavenger-like creatures (orange scales, long tail, ravenous claws and teeth, about the size of a cat) eat at dead mastiffs and other large animals simply lying upon the ground. Unattended baskets and sacks with rotting food spill out into the street as well. Foot bridges of rope and bamboo hang above the ravine, connecting the two sides from above. Some of them are 200 feet long or longer and sway a hundred feet above ground. She then turns away and, following the snobby merchant's directions, continues south.
The Chultan looks overjoyed by this question: "Library? Why Temple of Savras has greatest library since Library of Mezro. Of course, all Chultans keep fully stocked bookshelves, and all little ones taught to read Chultan." He seems very proud of this fact.
"That's great! See I'm a cleric of Deneir; God of Scribes, Books, and literacy. I would love to see this library at some point. But first The Thundering Lizard followed by the Red Bazaar for some Tej."
The tour continues on as your tour guide waves to a couple people and speaks to them in the same language you heard before, a compilation of clicks and intonations, most likely some sort of greeting. The Chultans proceed to wave back to Atuar, though they look at the both of you with curiosity. Atuar says to the both of you: "Do not worry. They have just not seen many foreigners. Most we get in Market Ward are some dwarves, along with albino cousins as foreigners." He then leads you through the wide paved streets and gestures to the same stunning archway that Gwen saw (and I'm reposting the description to describe what you see). "This archway to Malar Throat. I try to avoid Throat, as no telling what those people have on hands. Netheid is gelyk aan goddelikheid. Or clean-ness is god-ness in you tongue." You then take in the whole span of the slums: Two sheer, jungle-draped ridges flank a deep ravine. You see several Chultan children, dressed in dull, dirty, once-colorful clothes leap and swing from ropes to the rooves of crammed group houses. At that point Atuar points to the South and to the East and displays proudly. "This is market ward. My home! We have Coliseum, Hall of Gold, Red Bazaar, and... Bath House! It is good place to live. You should go to Coliseum some time, qualifying matches are going on right now and they are great spectacles! Although it said that Kwayothe planning a minor celebration event soon, but no one know when that is."
At this point Gwen has reached the Red Bazaar. While she could not see too well into the Grand Souk (because she mostly ran past it) the Red Bazaar is full of many people, mostly Chultans, who are looking around and procuring items. You see a variety of things here in the Red Bazaar: meat, vegetables, tropical fruit, some kind of drink coming out of a barrel which people are eagerly waiting in line for, light tropical clothing, strange salves and blocks of some kind of... incense, a weird unfoldable tarp like bucket, and many other household goods. In addition, she notices two buildings with great big signs on them. The first, on the northern (and therefore more wealthy) side, is a small, but quite tall pristine looking building with two large Chultans wielding shields and strange-looking spears stand out of, letting people into the building. A sign on the outside reads: Kaya's House of Repose. Meanwhile, on the other side of a street, the sound of carousing can be heard. It seems to be emanating from a large flat building. Upon which there is a great bold sign which reads: THE THUNDERING LIZARD. Several people head both in and out of the Thundering Lizard constantly (some of whom have to be dragged out).
Atuar points up on top of a nearby hill. You see a humongous circular building maybe 200 ft. in diameter on top of the tallest mountain in the city. It has a beautiful shining golden roof which glimmers in the sun enthralling you with its light. He then begins telling you about it: "Hall of Gold is temple to divine Waukeen. It also does function as bank. Our Mother of Prosperity, illustrious Madam Sibonseni leads the great temple. We have many more banks in city, but Hall of Gold is best bank. As for bathhouses, Sunites run public bathhouse, but many more private ones all around Nyanzaru! It is best experience. Personally, I do like public bathhouse, allows for connections with all of city." He then pauses and a look of dread seems to fall onto his face only to be replaced by a laugh. "Oh! I thought daily bath was now, but it is in several hours. I am fine. Imagine going day without taking a bath, huh!" He elbows Craben (not really being able to reach Yosben with his elbow without ducking down) in a joking manner.
You all continue through the streets and at that point, you feel something dropping on your head, as you look up the bright sunny sky has been replaced by a dark cloud, and you suddenly realize exactly why there are so many water mills, gutters, and more. You find yourselves caught in a sudden torrent of rain! Atuar seems to look up with modest interest as he says: "I was wondering when the rain was going to begin once more." It quickly picks up as more and more comes down. Neither Atuar nor most of the other Chultans seem to mind, but you're wondering how anyone could really live in all of this rain and still go from place to place doing their jobs. It is incredibly hard to see, and most things are dampened by the sound of the rain falling upon the pavement. Nevertheless, Atuar continues with his tour unhampered by the rain: "This is Red Bazaar! It is where I sells Tej, many merchants come and buy from me, for who doesn't want tej. I also supply Thundering Lizard, so feel free to drink up from there." He promptly strides over to one of the stands bearing a great cask of the alcohol on it and then speaks in the Chultan language, pointing over to the two of you. He then takes three cups of the liquid and hands one to the both of you. "Come! Drink up. Taste the Tej!"
Gwen rushes through the rain that seemed to come suddenly out of nowhere and runs into the tavern. Upon entering the tavern she is greeted by a chair that flies through the air and breaks upon contact with a Chultan causing him to promptly collapse to the floor. The other Chultan stands triumphant while a nearby crowd cheers and clinks glasses of the same alcoholic substance that you saw earlier. The triumphant Chultan promptly sits back down to enjoy his drink with several pats on the back from satisfied onlookers. The layout of The Thundering Lizard is what you'd expect for a standard bar, circular tables, a bar at the end, and several stools that stand next to it. In the back of the bar, you notice a board of some kind with several proclamations (?) stabbed into it with all kinds of things, from daggers to pins, you name it. In addition, several stairs lead up to another level. A dwarf with skin the shade of snow sits behind the bar polishing a mug. He looks at you with a bit of surprise upon seeing another dwarf, especially one he hasn't seen before, in Port Nyanzaru. Meanwhile, of the many patrons, one stands out. There's another dwarf who is eagerly scarfing down mugs of ale (dwarves are really the only other standardly common race (i.e. Baldur's Gate common) that you've seen in Port Nyanzaru so the occurrence of even one is enough to catch your eye, especially as a dwarf yourself.
As soon as it starts raining Craben will try and duck under any available canopy he can find. Craben doesn't like getting wet. When Atuar comes back with the Tej Craben will happily take a swig, eager to try this Chultan beverage.
As you duck under one of the wide slanted rooves of the houses to get away from the rain several of the Chultans look at you in confusion (as if someone decided to suddenly take out an umbrella if it was a minorly hot day), but you get no more than passing looks. The sound of rainwater then fills your thoughts as the water mill adjacent to you seems to be hooked up to a set of hydraulics of some kind, which in turn begin to actually aid in setting up a new row of plants in a nice elevated garden. This feat of engineering startles you for a moment, it's rather ingenious and extraordinarily advanced. Nevertheless, Atuar eventually comes over and hands you a small cup of the drink (just a taster). As it slides past your lips the fermented amber-colored drink sticks to the back of your throat and sends waves of... sweetness? through you. It almost has no recognizable taste of alcohol, but instead is quite sweet, and yet the buzz is still there (pina colada-like). Atuar smiles and says cheerfully: "Good, no?"
Atuar brightens, a bit of contrast to the environment outside and says: "Horray! You free to come down any time to my shop here. A cup normally five copper, but for you I provide discount: four copper! Alternatively you buy gallon cask for two silver. Good deal, no? Leeches don't grow in Tej so it good for you on jungle journeys!" You see his more businessman-side kick in as he says this to you.
"I think it is good! What do you call it?" As soon as he mentions leeches, his thoughts for it are subdued, but he pushes them away. It still tastes good.
Gwen smiles, rowdy taverns being her second favorite place to be aside from unexplored tombs, caves, and ruins. She trots up to the dwarf at the bar, "Hey! How's your day today? I'm looking for rooms to accomodate three people, what's available? What..."Gwen is momentarially distracted by a group of men who suddenly cheer loudly and clink thier glasses together, taking long swigs. A moment later, she snaps out of it, "Ah, Where was I? Oh, Yeah, The menu. What do you have today? To eat that is, because I'm pretty hungry"

Atuar grins from ear to ear, with the rain falling all around him he informs Yosben that: "This Tej! Finest drink in all Aber-Toril. You like, you buy more? I sell on most days. See, that my shop there!" He points to a currently unoccupied stall that says: "HOUSE OF TEJ" right on its front. "So you have two places. Thundering Lizard, very loud like Thunder, and Kaya's House of Repose, great place to relax and baths always very nice. Although quite expensive..." he trails off and chuckles at some memory. He then looks at both of them. "So! Where you go?"

He then promptly ducks as a stool flies over his head and smashes a bottle: "Yer payin' fer that Bati!" Meanwhile, a Chultan woman calls out from the back. "Of course! Put it on my tab!" The dwarf mutters something under his breath about humans, ale, and their apparent lack of appreciation.
Craben will question "Atuar, what are those strange creatures that we keep seeing?" Craben will point at the strange creatures dragging the ship. "And who is Aremag?"
