“Well our friend said she was going to the Thundering Lizard so we would like to meet up with her there. Also if you sell your Tej to the Thundering Lizard I know it’ll have the best Tej around” Craben says with a sly wink.
The Tej merchant looks a bit sad as he says: "Well. I guess this is where we part our ways. Be safe, and as you say in your tongue: 'Good lucks!'" As you make your way into The Thundering Lizard you see the scene described above: "The layout of The Thundering Lizard is what you'd expect for a standard bar, circular tables, a bar at the end, and several stools that stand next to it. In the back of the bar, you also notice a board of some kind with several proclamations (?) stabbed into it with all kinds of things, from daggers to pins, you name it. In addition, several stairs lead up to another level. A dwarf with skin the shade of snow sits behind the bar polishing a mug. He looks at you all with a bit of surprise upon seeing even more foreigners in Port Nyanzaru. Meanwhile, of the many patrons, one stands out. There's another dwarf who is eagerly scarfing down mugs of ale (dwarves are really the only other standardly common race (i.e. Baldur's Gate common) that you've seen in Port Nyanzaru so the occurrence of even one is enough to catch your eye."
"How much do the rooms cost? I need three, one for me and the other two for my friends. As for food, just get me something, anything. Give me whatever you have on tap that you think is the best."

"The hero sought to save the world.
"If I keep trying, I'll be able to win," the hero thought.
But the harder the hero fought, the further the world seemed to tumble away.
Drowning in doubt, the hero could not even save themselves.
Hero, if you still believe in a brighter future, hold in your heart a thorn that can pierce all doubt."
The dwarf looks at you with a stern face, seeming to not really like all of these questions. "Five silver. So you spend fifteen. You will have stew." He then goes over and begins to prepare a stew for the other dwarf.
"Oh, Okay!" Gwen proceeds to fish the money out of her pouch and sets it on the table and waits for the stew. When the food arrives, she eats it quickly.

The dwarf mumbles something unintelligible to Gwen as she digs into her meal and it is extraordinarily spicy! She doesn't know exactly what is in here but it is incredibly hot; however, once she gets through the heat all of these different individual flavors appear in her mouth as each one is completely unique and different than the other. All in all, quite a tasty stew.
When Craben enters The Thundering Lizard he'll ask Gwen " How much is it per room per night?" When told the price he'll look at Yosben and offer "If you want to share a room we can split the price?"
When Craben receives Yosben's answer he'll address the group and say "For the remainder of the day and say we should gather some information about the dangers of the jungle and possibly seek out a local who has experience trekking through it.There is a public bathhouse at nearby where we could gather some information. There is the Temple of Savras which holds the library; I'm sure I could find some information there as well. Of course, there is also the Colessium where we could find something or the Hall of Gold. Anyways, I think we need to gather some information about the dangers of the jungle and possibly hire a guide for the jungle in order to not trek through it blindly. I wonder if the bartender knows of any guides?"
Craben will look at the bartender and ask him "Excuse me, sir, do you know of any places one could find a guide for the jungle."
The dwarf says two simple things: "No splitting." and "*grumble*" the latter is simply to attract your attention, as he stretches out his arm and points towards the notice board in the back of the room.
Craben will first, assuming Gwen told him the price, pay for his room for the night. He'll then leave and head towards the notice board with a short "Thank you" a little confused about why this local seems so grumpy compared to Atuar.
As Craben walks over to the notice board he sees many pieces of paper stabbed into the board. There are some lost and found notifications, you also see several ads:
"THE GREAT UBATO HAS A FAVORITE! PLACE YOUR BETS ON UBATO TODAY!"
"BONECRUNCHER'LL BE CRUNCHIN' THE COMPETITIONS BONES. BET ON HIM, AND HE MIGHT NOT CRUSH YOURS!"
"BASED ON HER LAST RUNS WITH RAGIN' FLAMIN' FIRE, SHE NOW RETURNS WITH NASTY BOY! PLACE YOUR BETS ON HIM AND YOU WILL NOT BE LET DOWN!" to name a couple. There are also several brackets (like sports) that are being set up, with several people writing their names on the brackets. Several competitions seem to be available, from qualifying competitions to something called "Allosaur Races" to Battles of the Bands, and much much more. In addition, there are also several job notifications, most of them seem to be manual labor based. One very strange one captures the eye of Craben: "Hadrien's Alternative Running Program Eats Real Swell Stay the night at Kaya's House of Repose for more information!"
However, Craben reads it as: "Hadrien'sAlternativeRunningProgramEatsRealSwell Stay the night at Kaya's House of Repose for more information!"
Not only that, but probably the largest notice poster is placed directly in the center of the board which reads: "Are YOU Planning to Adventure into the Jungle? Well YOU Could Use the Assistance of Jobal's Guides! Ask for Aazon at Jobal's Villa to Go on a PERSONALIZED Tour!" It then has a picture of a Chultan guide making their way through the jungle, pushing aside ferns and hacking at the undergrowth.
Having looked over the signs Craben will turn to Yosben and say
“Actually you can take my room here tonight. I think I’m going to stay at the House of Repose. Something tells me I might get some good info there.”
Craben will return to wherever Gwen is and inform her of what the signs say (minus the Harper thing) and of his decision to stay at the House of Repose.
Jobal's, I'll head there tomorrow, she is going to stay the night here, she already saw people throwing chairs at each other. This it going to be a fun night, she thinks, smiling.

“If Yosben is going to see the dinosaurs fight then I too shall be off. I’ll go secure a room at the House of Repose and then I think I’ll join the public at the bath house. Cultures that have community bathing are always fascinating. You know bathing together creates such a deep bond amongst the public. Anyways, sorry for the tangent. I’ll meet the both of you here in the morning to discuss Jobal’s guides”
Craben will then leave for the House of Repose.

"Thanks Craben". Yosben returns to the bartender, "When is the next event at the coliseum?" After he answers, he flips a copper onto the bar.
The dwarf of snow simply gives a grunt in response. As Yosben proceeds to ask, he then mutters: "Dino fight. In half an hour."
