Squalor reigns in this low ceiling room. A large iron spike is driven into the floor near the door, and a small iron cage is set further back. Several sets of corroded manacles are connected to the walls, and some still bind a few crumbling skeletons. Three kobolds are in shackles and a gnome is trapped in a cage nearly to small for him.
The kobolds have been released and started running back the way you came. The gnome starts stretching and than says “Months past, I was on my way to seek fortune and took the Old Road. My bad luck that the goblin bandits caught me.”
"Sorry to hear that,"Wakka asks rather matter of factly"Know why they kept you alive? Also, any chance you heard a baby dragon come this way recently?"
Cade nods to the gnome as he is released, then watches the kobolds run back the way they had just come from.
"Guess we should check one of those other doors." He says as the gnome tells his story. "You want to come with us or go back on your own?" He asks the gnome, not really concerned about the guy's story, unless he has something to add that aids the group from here onward. "Know anything about those other doors?" He asks as he considers this.
“I do not know anything, I have been kept in this cage for months. I will help you through, I started my travel to adventure, I guess this is where I can begin.”
(Was refering to the other doors outside of this room.)
"Very well." Cade says with a shrug. He heads back to where they had rested, then glances to the two doors they have not checked yet. "Which would you guys like to try first?" He asks the others.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Works for me." Cade says with a shrug. He moves to the left-most of the two remaining doors. He checks the door for traps and to see if it is unlocked or not.
Several torches mounted in crude sconces burn fitfully around the chamber, filling the air with a haze. A double row of marble columns carved with entwining dragons run the length of the hall. Three doors stand on the north wall, with one on the south and one at the end of the hall.
"Yeah not bad, not bad. Really wish whoever built this place though had left a few extra floor plans lying around. I just hope we're not walking in circles." Wakka replied.
As the Emrys positions himself in front of the door, Wakka casually stands behind him waiting for him to open it, hand lazily on his rapier. Though he personally thought that the group was being a little too cautious opening each door, he played along and readied himself for whatever was (maybe) lurking behind the door.
(OOC: I personally have no problem with all the extra caution we're taking moving through this place but Wakka is definitely not the type lol)
With a nod Cade pulls open the door.

"What's going on here!" Wakka asks surprised at finding captives. As he enters the room, he'll do a quick scan for any guards

The gnome croaks “Help let me go...” And Meepo is already running to release the kobolds.
Cade moves to release the gnome. "How did you get in here?" He asks as he does so.
Are there any other doors or exits?

(Yeah, Kasian asked and I forgot to answer.)
"Let's try the left one, that's always been my good side." Wakka quips to Cade.

You can't find any traps.
Cade nods to the others as he reaches for the door handle. "Everyone ready?" He opens the door once everyone has a chance to be ready.
Sylfyr will ready an eldritch blast, poised to strike anything hostile.

"Interesting place. The double doors seems like they would lead to more public areas. Let us try the single door at the end, first, however."
Emrys repeats his preparations before the door, giving cover to those behind.
