You open into a small hallway, with one door on the right side, and a double door on the left. At the end of the hallway is a turn to the left that you can't see beyond.
"Hopefully important is not deadly," Talvian says quietly as he readies his crossbow and turns an eye to behind the group, watching for any enemies coming from the bend at the other end of the hall.
The long narrow court is paved in red sandstone. To the north stands the main temple or shrine of the monastery, its copper sheathed doors are emblazoned with the a triangular symbol (Yes that one) Doors also exit the court at its east and west end. (Y0u came through the west doors.) 4 lifeless gargoyle statues stand with a ferocious leer in front of the main doors You remember this place from you being led to the leader, you went through the main doors to get to him.
Jedavii shuts the door again and looks to the others. "There's four statues here, I don't think we can get all of them before we get gotten ourselves. We were led through the door to the north into that place with the stairs; maybe we can backtrack from there to avoid fighting these guys."
Si says, "I agree. Let's try to find a better path. We can search other doors we skipped and work our way back to the fist room we fought in---and go from there."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Si heads back through the double doors we came through and listens in on the door across the hall, the one mentioned to be "on the right side" in the quote:

"It appears that someone (or something) is sleeping in here. Maybe several, I can't tell. We may be able to surprise them if we're lucky." Si says quietly to the rest of the group. He readies his war hammer and waits for Jedavii...
Jedavii nods, and readies his hammer. He motions to Jhazall and Talvian then points into the room. He points at himself and Si, whispering briefly: “You go in first; we’re not sneaky.”
Using guidance Si examines the south door, listening for signs of movement or such beyond

It is quiet.
Si turns to the rest of the group and quietly says, "There seems to be no activity behind this door. Jedavii, lead the way when you're ready."

Jedavii grins. "I'm always ready."
He pushes the door open quietly with mage hand.

"Double doors tend to be important..." Jhazaal says, nodding to them.
"Important is what we're looking for right?" Si nods towards the double doors and looks at Jedavii to see if he agrees.

*nod*
Jedavii opens this door too, again after waiting for everyone to stand back and opening it with mage hand.

"Works for me." Jahazaal confirms.

Sounds of heavy snoring can be heard from that room.

Jhazaal nods his readiness.
Talvian takes a deep breath, slowly exhales, and readies his crossbow.
Jedavii nods, and readies his hammer. He motions to Jhazall and Talvian then points into the room. He points at himself and Si, whispering briefly: “You go in first; we’re not sneaky.”
Talvian nods, waits a moment to calm his beating heart, then as slowly and as stealthily as he could he enters the room.
