Tagret dumps the body down for the Nothic "Here's you next meal......" then backs away a few feet, still a little wary of the psychic creature.

Saravena will not back away keeping close to the creature, still curious about it and its capabilities, "Can you tell me nothic, are there any more people, other than myself and my friends here, that are anywhere in this place? We found these three in a room we had not seen before, so we just want to know if there are any other places we have not seen."

Misha, suspicious of the creatures games backs away "You're not hunting your friends are you?"

The nothic begins to laugh manically once more.

"Just you. Just you. Just you."

Rashana cocks an eyebrow at the Nothic, glances at Saravena and shrugs then returns upstairs, waiting for the others to be ready to go back to town.

Misha shrugs and moves with the group "I guess a chess match is out of the question."

"Nothing else to do here for now....lets go...maybe we come back later for the tubes and things" - and he follows the others back toward the stairs

Seeing everyone else begin to leave Saravena takes one last look at the nothic and gives a cheerful smile while saying, "I will be back in a little while enjoy your meal."

Once she rejoins the others, Saravena gives a joyful sigh, "It's such a fascinating creature, still so much to learn about it. Do you think it is purely carnivorous or can it eat fruits and vegetables as well? Oh, I so cannot wait to study it some more when we have more time."

Realizing how excited she was getting about studying the nothic Saravena clears her throat, calming herself before asking the group, "So what is our next move? Return to the townmaster's hall to interrogate Glasstaff, see if we missed anymore Redbrand? Or are we just calling it a night for now to rest up and regain our strength for what comes tomorrow?" 

Misha remains silent wondering what happens when this creature runs out of food and its taste for people. In that thought he says to Saravena "I don't know but we'll probably hear about innocents disappearing in Phandelver now that it's food source is gone."

Rashana glances back down toward the cellar then nods, "Our little caretakers will be the first to die."

"Perhaps we need to leave enough coin to keep it fed, either with the goblins or with Sildar, and the goblins should be safe enough if they keep the trapdoor bolted"

"I am not too worried," Saravena remarks with a shrug. "Droop has been here for some time with the Redbrands and is still alive, so between the bodies we left last time plus these extra bodies I think the nothic will be well fed. Also, we have yet to see the nothic actually attack anything living so it may only feed on corpses, as I said there is much we still do not know about this creature. Aside from that I do agree that we need to leave Bitenose and Droop some coin not just to keep the nothic fed but themselves as well, maybe even find them some work they could do here in the village."

"So lets go give them some coin. If they have any wisdom they'll leave far from here anyway." he leads on to where they've seen them last.

(Just a reminder that Sildar's plan is to restore Phandalin to its previous position as a prosperous town.)

Upon return from the ruins, Rashana looks disdainfully at the town hall. "The first step on our journey is the hardest. The second merely requires acceptance."

"I do not agree with that," Saravena replies looking up at the sky. "When you begin to craft an alchemical mixture the first ingredient you add has nothing to react with, it when the second one gets added that things can get rough." Saravena thinks for a moment before continuing, "If we want a less volatile reaction, we need to get the townmaster on our side, best way to do that is to complete that job he posted, then maybe we can convince him to allow Sildar to bring in people to help keep this place safe. Then if we follow Rockseeker's map to the Wave Echo Cave we will not have to worry about returning here to find another band of bandits has taken up the Redbrand spot."

Rashana shrugs, "Though the path may be obvious, it need not be free of danger." She gathers her things and gestures to Saravena. "Lead on."

You head back through the nearest exit to the south of the hideout. Then you make your way back to the townmaster's hall to check on the job posted on the notice board. The job asks you to head east on the Triboar Trail to investigate sightings of a band of orcs near Wyvern Tor.

"Well, after a good nites sleep do you want to be hunted by orcs?" Misha slightly smiles.

Rashana looks at her wounded companions and nods, "A rest would be wise; Then, in the morning, we can see what has been learned from Goldstaff and resume our journey."
