"Sounds like a good plan to me," Saravena nods. "Let me just grab Bitenose and Droop. I plan to spend the night at the manor are you all going back to the inn? If so, should we meet in the common room for breakfast before we head out?"
Rashana has little desire to return to the stink and noise of the Inn. She stares at Saravena for a moment, considering. "The manor appeals to me also" she says.
"Alright, anyone else?" Saravena asks looking to Tagret and Misha. After their answers Saravena makes her way into the townhall to collect Bitenose and Droop but before leaving she will stop by Sildar to inform him of what they plan to do next, to check how he is doing, and to see how everything is going with the townmaster.
"Maybe we could rent or buy a house here. And have that equipment moved? I have no desire to leave you at the mercy of that cursed being, alone Saravena. So I'll have to go with you." Misha says as he follows along
Misha shrugs "Its true Rashana . I guess we can tolerate the being. I guess use the secret entrance via the main one? To avoid the Nothic, it hunts us every time it seems. But, I don't think we can feed it rotting bodies, much longer."
At Misha's remark about giving up safety and sleep for passion Saravena's shoulders slump, her normal cheerful manner leaves her, as she lets out a single saddened chuckle, "It would not be the first time."
After a moment of reflection, she shakes her head casting away the thoughts of her past, reminding herself that she has chosen the path she is on and what had happened years ago no longer mattered. Saravena takes a slow deep breath finally returning herself to the now gaining back her cheerful inquisitiveness, "Honestly I still do not believe the nothic is something we need to worry too much about, the Redbrand lived with it for who knows how long and seemed perfectly fine, isn't that right Droop?" She turns to the party's newest goblin companion, "You lived in the manor for a time did you have any trouble with the nothic while you were there?"
Saravena finds Droop and Bitenose in the townmaster's hall helping Sildar with minor tasks. However, they seem eager to leave the hall and follow Saravena.
"Well," Droop begins in response to Saravena. "As I understand it, the creature was drawn to the cave beneath the manor by a faint magical effect emanating from the crevasse. Glasstaff decided to make arrangements so that the nothic would guard the area in exchange for treasure and the occasional gift of... 'fresh meat'.
However, Glasstaff did not trust the creature. Instead, he feared the creature's insanity. He said it made it unpredictable."

Since the party has returned to town, Tagret says "I'm going to see if these will fetch some coin, then a rest before we go looking for Gundren's kin? The Inn or the Manor makes no difference to me, as long as we use that key to lock the doors behind us to keep the creature at bay" indicating the weapons that he took off the last lot of Red Brands.
OOC: @Brit - did not get an inventory of the weapons that they had - so at your discretion can you resolve - happy to RP the trip to the store if you like, but keen to move on with the story.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rashana heads toward the ruined manor and nimbly climbs to the highest spot she can manage, balancing precariously on crumbling rocks before leaping to the next highest foothold. After an early fall, she focuses on the moment and manages to find an isolated vantage point and the right mental state. Standing to her full height she turns around slowly, taking in the vista, then settles down to meditate for an hour. When she is done, her mind clear once more, she pulls out her flute and plays some of the melodies that she learned in the monastery, content for her gentle music to be lost in the wind.
As the others start to settle for the night she follows them to their place of rest.
A few acrobatics checks to see how high/far she gets: 10, 10, 22, 10
(In the armoury they had 5 shortswords, 4 spears, and 3 crossbows.)
Tagret manages to sell the five carnelians for ten gold pieces each, the two peridots for fifteen gold pieces each, and the pearl for one hundred gold pieces each.

As Tagret rejoins the others, he hefts the purse and jangles it a bit "Some decent coin at last, 180 gold to be exact" and as the party settle in he takes the time to distribute the spoils, handing each of the party 35gp and keeping 40gp himself

"Well? What are we going to do? Maybe buy some horses, get our goblin friends to keep them safe when we're not on them." Misha says eating what is at hand in the Stonehill.
Rashana shrugs, and looks around at the ruins. "Sleep, was my plan. The little ones will guard the manor and feed Saravena's pet while we are gone." This is says with a faint smile. "In the morning..." she shrugs and looks at the others, "...we continue our journey. Horses are just bigger targets, harder to hide."
While she understands Droop's explanation Saravena is a little disappointed, "Well we know for a fact that the nothic can be reasoned with and so far, we have a good relationship with it. For now, at least, I feel we have nothing to worry about, if things change then we can figure out a new solution."
"Thank you very much Tagret,"Saravena nods accepting her share of the coin from Tagret.
At Misha's thought on getting horses and Rashana's response Saravena thinks for a moment, "We would be able to move faster if we get horses, but we would have to make sure we put aside some coin from any jobs we do from then on to go towards the upkeep of the horses. For now, let's put a pin in that discussion and get some rest then over breakfast we can decide if we really need horses or not. You all can decide which rooms in the manor you wish to take as for me I will be taking the lab, so if you need me, you know where to find me."
Rashana will make herself comfortable in the southwest room ((9)). After inspecting the beds and blankets for fleas and bugs, she tosses the worst of them into the central cavern and sets up her bedroll on the pallet in the southwest corner of the room.

Misha simply says after the shock wears off "So, you're giving up safety and a good nights sleep. For your passion."

Rashana pauses, "A house as well? Were we not just given the manor?"
Misha shrugs "Its true Rashana . I guess we can tolerate the being. I guess use the secret entrance via the main one? To avoid the Nothic, it hunts us every time it seems. But, I don't think we can feed it rotting bodies, much longer."
