As Rashana wakes she takes in the scene quickly. Almost instantly, the sound of a roaring lion can be heard to the west, then the sound of crunching leaves and breaking sticks, followed by another roar, much closer.

Eye's going wide, hand grasping for a hilt, Tagret tries to jump to his feet and get a bearing on what is going on "What the!  How'd wolves get this close..."

Misha gets up moves towards the wolves ten ft places his hexblade's curse on one of the larger ones shooting a beam of purple white energy Attack: 18 Damage: 14 Then he retreats back to his friends, keeping an eye on the wolves.

(( Sorry, should have been clearer: Yes, trying to convince the wolves that the world was too dangerous in this area and that another apex predator was approaching so hunting elsewhere might be safer. Should Misha roll intim, or Rashana? ))

(Rashana to roll for intimidation. Frightened is a status condition and the lowest spell to cause this is a level 1. I think a cantrip would be too powerful on its own.)

Rashana intim: 16

"I don't know," Saravena cries answering Tagret's question as she scrambles to her feet drawing her crossbow. "They just appeared out of the shadows and started growling."

The lion's roar briefly pulls Saravena attention away from the wolves but wanting to concentrate on the immediate treat she puts her attention back on the wolves. Not liking the numbers against the party and with another danger possible approaching, Saravena digs the nails of her off hand into her freshly made wound she caused herself pulling it open more causing her to grimace slightly as she takes 3 damage. Taking the fresh blood in her hand Saravena swipes across the bow of her weapon where the crimson liquid then sparks to life wreathing the area in crimson lightning. Holding the crossbow pointed at the wolves Saravena waits to actually pull the trigger until one of them moves closer.

BA: Crimson Rite

Holding Crossbow Attack: 23 Damage: 8 plus 2 lightning for if a wolf gets closer.

ooc: I guess my action can be a held action, if that's ok.

The wolves hear the sound of an animal, that have not heard before, somewhere near by. The two bigger wolves look at each other uncertain on how to proceed. Whilst the smallest of the wolves begin to whimper.

Moments later another roar, even louder and more fearsome, is heard in the opposite direction, as though approaching from both sides and closing in.

Rashana says quietly, "Their will falters; a straw is required."

With not a lot at his disposal apart from his outright size, Tagret pushes toward the largest of the animals, pulls his great axe and lets out a mighty mountain roar of his own to add to the apparent rowing threats

Intimidation: 15  -  (FFS - maybe his voice is still breaking - what started out strong ends in a squeak and a whimper) 

and will hold an action to attack if that is possible.
