Even at this distance Misha can smell the faint scent of smoke hanging in the air. At present, only one orc stands at the entrance to outside the cave. The rest of the orcs must be inside the camp whilst the lone sentry is hunkered down by a boulder twenty yards outside of the cave.

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
"Then I guess our best bet would be to strike at break of dawn, go in before they wake up," Saravena comments. "If we can find one, we should set up camp in a spot where they cannot see us be we still have sight of them, then we can keep watch over in shifts as others rest."
"Misha may be on to something with the illusion though. If we capture one orc, could you mimic its voice with your illusion Rashana?" Saravena taps her lip in thought for a moment before continuing. "We could set up some traps and use Rashana's illusion to draw them into it. Does anyone have a way to move a fair amount of earth in a short amount of time? We could set up spike traps using some of the bolts I have maybe even carve some longer spikes from branches of some of the trees around."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(( Really not sure what/where we are based on OOC, but if we are playing what we are dealt, then ))
As she realizes that they have finally found the camp, Rashana pauses. She has expected faster progress and had been becoming uneasy all afternoon. "The journey was longer than expected, we should fall back. Rest. Attack at dawn, when they are tired -- rather than when we are tired."
She considers for a moment. She had been keeping a lookout for camp spots since early afternoon out of habit. (( Survival 21 ))
"There was a valley back the way we came, I think we could shelter there. It looks like the orcs don't go there often."
(( That's what she says, but she might be mistaken based on the roll! Unless someone want to help, in which case: 13 ))
(( Because of the tampering BS, adding more here ))
To Saravena, Rashana nods, "Yes, I can mimic any voice we hear...but I do not speak the language. So it will be as a parrot." She shrugs, "It could be enough to confuse."
Misha whispers "I think the bleating of a sheep would work better. Something they would eat and easily catch. Since we're tired, Lets withdraw and do this in the morning." Misha does so.
"A watchful night, two sets of eyes," says Rashana as she covers their tracks and tries to assemble a blind for them to sleep in amid the shrubs and bushes.
"So are you saying two to a watch tonight? I would agree." Misha says as he tries to help Rashana with the blind or he looks for some boulders with an area big enough too make camp in.
Rashana's eyes flicker from the dried rations she is holding, finishes chewing then swallows. She looks up at Tagret and nods in agreement then focuses once more on her food. She break off a small piece, places it in her mouth and chews slowly, her eyes distant.
Misha and Rashana take first watch keeping an eye out. However, even this close to the orc camp, they don't spot anything coming towards you camp. And you have no surprises either.

Misha points them out "I think they're mostly in the cave. I only see two outside one over there and one in front."

Rashana nods, smiling. "A lamb. Vulnerable, in the wilds."
Misha quietly says "Could you do the pass without trace spell to cover our retreat, my dear?"

Rashana nods, then intones a few phrases, holding her hands in a meditative position. A senses of harmony settles on the party as they move off.
You find somewhere to camp for the night that will provide you cover from the orc camp. However, your line of view of their camp is not the best.

Rashana nods as she settles in to the cramped space to slowly eat some of her rations.
Tagret nods as well "Two watchers for sure...no surprises. Shall we do three hour stints to stay more alert?"
