Tagret swings his great axe at the doppelganger with most of his swings cutting into the unconscious creature and chopping it up into smaller parts. Einiwin looks horrified at the blood carnage caused by her companion.

When Tagret orders Bitenose to the front he shrugs his shoulders following behind Gundren.

"Yes, but let's not talk too much about that here," Gundren calls back over his shoulder.

Once outside Cragmaw castle, you encounter a band of hobgoblins. They were returning from the north chatting amongst themselves before stopping when they spot you. There are three hobgoblins standing in front of you, with the one in the middle being flanked by two wolves.  On their hips, they carry a sack dripping with blood.

"Hail," Saravena greets the hobgoblins. "We are from the Redbrands we came to collect the prisoner, your king already has the coin, this goblin is just leading us back to our camp."

Deception 17 

The hobgoblin standing in the middle steps forward "That's funny, you're not wearing Redbrand uniforms."

Rashana waits for Saravena hoping that they could get away with that, while also puts a hand behind on the staff ready to draw her weapon.

"Yes, you see that is entirely my fault," Saravena answers rubbing the back of her head nervously. "The other day we got into a fight in a field with a lot of mud, out uniforms got completely covered in mud and blood absolutely filthy, since I am the newest recruit in this group I was in charge of washing them. While I was washing them in the river a wolf comes out from behind me, scares the life out of, and I knock our uniforms into the river, by the time I killed the wolf our uniforms were carried down river."

Saravena lets out a long sigh, "Look I am already in enough trouble as is, so how about five gold and you let us go, so I can get my lashing taken care of while you all get your prize from your boss?"

Persuasion 15

As Saravena tries her best, Damian will tighten his grip on his shield ready to lift it up for defense. 

The lead hobgoblin shrugs his shoulders and waves for the others to follow him to the castle.

"Thank you," Saravena says with a small bow before pulling five gold from her coin purse and handing it to the hobgoblin. Once the hobgoblin is out of ear shot Saravena turns to the rest of the party motioning them to leave quickly and takes off running back to town.

“Hahaha, very slick Saravena!” Damian says laughing as they haul ass out of there.

Quickly move away from the castle and past the tree line. You move into Neverwinter Wood away from anyone in the castle. However, it is late and it will take many hours to get back to Phandalin. You quickly realise that you need to survive the night or to continue on to Phandalin.

"I am just happy I was able to convince them," Saravena replies between labored breaths as she slows her pace. "I am not much of a liar nor am I all that persuasive for the most part. I spent far too much time with books rather than people."

Saravena looks up at the darkened sky then asks, "Should be find some where to set up camp or press on, I can think of pros and cons for both."

"Hmm....perhaps words are useful after all......lucky they are not too smart....but well done for getting us away from there so quickly!!"

"Let's get somewhere safe and then Gundren can tell us his tale....."

You move on further into Neverwinter before deciding that you have moved far enough away from the castle to relatively safe.

“I think we made it far enough, did we want to set up a camp or do we want to keep pushing our bodies? I know I’m out of spells.” 

"Setting up camp here sounds good, we made it a fair ways, but we should figure out a watch rotation just incase. Eniwin do you think you could set up that Alarm spell like you did before for us?"

As the group has been travelling, Tagret has been thinking on whether they might be pursued and when they stop for a break he asks "Bitenose...will those wolves be able to track us.....?"

If he is indicates that they will, or is even unsure, Tagret reconsiders his earlier thought

"I dont mind the push, if we want to keep going but keep in mind im out of spells. If we get ambush not much i can do but smack 'em. Gundren you want to keep pushing?"

[I dont mind getting an exhaustion it'll take at least a day, so rest up for a day back in town then we can remove the red band,]

Einiwin looks a little unhappy when she is about to start casting the Alarm then stops at Bitenose's response.

"It is possible that they could be used to track us," Bitenose says. "Though it is really a question of whether they would bother. It's possible that Targor will just want to be the new king of the tribe. He won't necessarily come after us."

Gundren shrugs his shoulders, "It is late in the day, how long have you been awake for? Phandalin is about seven hours away. Not an easy walk if you're tired."

“We Rested till tonight to rescue you, I’m just saying that I can’t cast spell. If you all want to stay here and rest I’m game for whatever.” 

"Hmmph.....why take the chance of staying out here, if they do come after us with the wolves then we wont be getting a full nights sleep.  I say we are better off making the trek back to Phalandrin....and keep whatever lead we already have.  Anyone else object?"

If there are no objections he continues "Good...let's go.  Damian...get Bitenose up at the front, we could use his eyes as we travel"
