Kraven seeing the claw a little to late to avoid the claw attack will use his reaction to enact his Stein (Stone Rune) to hopefully incapacitate the creature.
Stein (Stone Rune): DC 13 WIS save or creature is charmed.
Stein (Stone Rune)
You have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks, and you have darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. If you already have darkvision, its range increases by 30 feet.
In addition, when a creature you can see ends its turn within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to invoke the rune and force the creature to make a Wisdom saving throw. Unless the save succeeds, the creature is charmed by you for 1 minute. While charmed in this way, the creature has a speed of 0 and is incapacitated, descending into a dreamy stupor. The effect ends if the charmed creature takes any damage or if someone else uses an action to shake the creature out of its haze.

ooc: It was Khalani and not Kraven who was attacked.
[OOC: sigh, my apologies, teach me to try and read with only getting 2.5 hours of sleep last night as I was working. Sigh, nevermind....resetting character.]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kraven will move a little out of the way to get an angle on the claw that is holding Khalani and see if he can damage it enough so the crab drops his companion.
OOC: I took and cast Guidance on myself to allow for a better chance to break free next round figuring with the crab charmed I had a bit of time.the charm was done with Kravem’s reaction not action, I believe
[OOC: Yea totally ignore all the posts about Kraven using his reaction and his tattoo, as I was an idiot and thought the attack was against Kraven and not Khalani, that was my bad. Also I think the Crab went first, and then Khalani went with his spell and then it was Kraven's turn. Not sure who is next in the Init order, please correct me if I am wrong. Also going to strike out my comments with my reaction and tattoo use.]
