OOC: I wouldn’t have done the guidance thing if the crab hadn’t been charmed. And given that both Kraven and Khalani had initiative of 17 I will simply repost a new action later and delete that post.
Khalani screamed, as much in surprise as in pain, as the huge crab's claw clamped down on his body. "Great Goddess! Preserve your servant!" This was more an imprecation than an actual plea. He considered how best to get himself out. Commanding the beast wouldn't work unless the creature spoke some language which Khalani thought unlikely. He could attack it but it was unlikely he could kill it outright, with spell or weapon. That left breaking free.
Putting all his strength into the effort, Khalani tried to force the claws open and then move away, from the beast, as far as he could.
ooc: Khalani will move his full 30' if he can or the most he can if cannot get his full movement away UNLESS that would provoke an attack of opportunity. In which case he settles for breaking free...if that happens.
Khalani moves as far from the powerful crab-thing as possible, all the while noting all possible details for later recording in his journals. As he does, he calls out the words of a spell, "O Goddess, bath me in your radiance that I might cure wounds!" A bright light pulses around him for a moment and the bruising evident in several places around his body fades noticeably.
ooc: Cure Wounds 12
Even as the healing takes effect, Khalani observes the crab, trying to determine how badly injured it might be and if it's worth calling his Spiritual Weapon.
ooc2: I'm considering casting Spiritual Weapon. How bad off does the crab look? Perception 10
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Deciding the crab looks decidedly too healthy, Khalani calls out again. "Goddess of Light and Knowledge, help me smite this creature which threatens me and my companions!"
A mace, glowing a brilliant yellow-blue, forms in the air next to the crab and immediately strikes at it.
The first dagger misses the crab, flying past it, into the bubble. It begins deflating like a ballon. Now the north end of the bubble is beginning to fill with boiling water. The second dagger hits.
