As T'chal speaks, Kerric looks on with concern as he leans on the practice staff, having undergone some intense training with Ebele. "Our first indication of the delegation, and some of their number are already dead. Looks like practice time is over for now, Ebele." Moving to follow T'chal up the hill, Kerric asks, "T'chal'fronack'zcinicker, did you find any tracks or other signs of where whomever buried the bodies went next?"

Ebele would nod, straightening her posture after catching her breath. "Now, the real work begins." She'd jest with a smirk, offering Kerri his practice staff back. The monk would move to follow after their footsteps, listening to the elf's inquiries to T'chal'fronack'zcinicker. After a moment of silence in her darkness, she'd start to wonder if she should make a wager that there would be zombies in their near future...
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker shakes his head, "Well, some signs of battle, but, I'm not the best scout, so I couldn't make hind nor tail of it. That's a saying right? Hind nor tail?"

Hawke tilts his head as his tail straights up at what T'chal says, uncertain of what that saying even meant had it been correct. "There are footprints here,"Hawke says to Kerric telepathically, padding over to where they were. "I could try to track them now, if you all would like, or tomorrow. Up to everyone else." The wolf would sit down and wait for everyones opinion on the matter.
Had they agreed upon doing so now, Hawke was on the trail.

Reghys clears their throat: "I actually wholeheartedly agree. We have scant evidence that this is the delegation from Mirabar, and even if it was, the trail isn't going to be much colder tomorrow. It would be a shame to lose a good horse over that. Or even a horse like Bill."

Not that Ebele didn’t agree with T'chal'fronack'zikicker or Reghys’ conclusions, but it never hurt to be thorough right? The monk would gently lean in toward Xalkas, holding her arm out for him to escort her, “Shall we take one final gander before we retire to Bill for tonight?” She’d pull out her staff to start poking around.
“Heavy boots heading towards the camp.” Ebele would blurt as she’d reach out to pause Kerric. “Be wary on approach.” She wouldn’t say it out loud, but she was concerned for Bill. She’d give Xalka’s arm a gentle pat, thanking him for his help before she’d try to slip into the shadows.
Reghys can't help but smile: "I feel a song coming on!" With that, the bard happily saunters down the hill towards the campsite, figuring that in their bright get up, attempting to hide was a fool's errand anyways.

Xalkas wasn’t intending to race the satyr up the hill and as Reghys puts him on their shoulders, his protests fall on deaf ears as a Dire Wolf begins chasing them.
Xalkas is at first terrified of the wolf and stays on Reghys shoulders for quite some time. Seeing Reghys have no negative reaction to it decides that it probably means them no harm.
Xalkas enjoys the view of Red Larch from the hill and tries to recall from his readings any information about the tower.

Xalkas is amazed that T'chal'fronack'zcinicker seemingly has no reaction to the large Dire Wolf nearby. Replies to his question with, “I have no idea” watching the tiefling proceeding to exhume one of the bodies.
Xalkas keeps a good 10 feet away from the wolf as it moves around the graves unsure what to make of it. He watches in amazement as the wolf brings T'chal'fronack'zcinicker some of the items strewn about the area.
As the bodies are uncovered Xalkas recognizes the red axe as a coat of arms belonging to Mirabar and shares as much with the group.
Xalkas listens quietly to the conversation about what to do regarding the tracks and is about to give his opinion when Reghys bounds off again in the direction of their camp after Ebele mentions tracks headed in that direction. Xalkas is ready to make his way back to the camp. Keeping a good 10 feet of distance from Hawke. Trying his best to stay near the middle of the group and as close to Ebele as he can.
Hawke watches the group walk off back to the campsite, giving one last final look to the tower in the distance prior to padding off behind them. Xalkas' wariness doesn't go unnoticed, however the druid respects it and keeps his distance as well as to not make him uncomfortable. Eventually he finds that he should definitely try to introduce himself to the gnome when he isn't in wolf shape. He does stay in his form for the remaining time he has in it, generally roaming around the campsite and running around unless called to join them. However, had Reghys played a tune, he would sit down to listen.
When he is out of his wildshape, the kalashtar lets them know he is willing to take the first watch had they allowed it. He would also check on Bill to see how the horse was fairing.
If Xalkas was nearby (and awake) he would approach him and properly introduce himself to the other. "Hey, uh, sorry for not introducin' myself earlier to ya. The name is Hawke... I was the dog."He says sheepishly, rubbing the back on his neck. "I'm not... the best with this kinda stuff. But, uh, nice to meetcha. I'll be taggin' along with you and your group to help find the missin' delegation." He extends a hand.

T'chal'fronack'zcinicker settles into the camp for the night. He spends a bit of time scribbling on parchment and in a book, before eventually settling into sleep in his tent...which he apparently has erected up in the back of the wagon...
When/if the morning light arrives, he awakes early, likely to the sound of Ebele and Kerric banging their sticks together or whatever those two get up to. He puts on his nicely folded clothes and places his hat on, slightly off center, then pulls out some rations and begins eating. Once done and the group is up and around, he says, "So, are we going to try and follow those tracks Hawke mentioned? Seems strange to ignore this obvious clue to the Miribar delegation. One of them somehow came to be here....maybe....we leave the wagon, hidden a ways back in the forest somewhere, and let Bill walk with us as we go cross land?"
