On her ‘stealthy’ walk back, Ebele welcomed Xalkas’ company as they went. Though, she’d sense the wizards apprehension towards Hawke’s presence. The monk would slow her steps not just to match the gnome’s pace, but also wanting to welcome Hawke to join them too. She hoped she may be able to bridge the gap between the discomfort.
Should Hawke approach Ebele in his wolf form, she’d ask permission if she could pet and feel his fur, scratching behind the ears and scritching under the chin. She’d encourage Xalkas, if he felt comfortable, to try too. If he wasn’t comfortable, she’d offer an assuring smile and allow him his space. The half-elf would stay close by through Hawk’s formal introduction should Xalkas prefer.
Eventually she’d set off to begin preparing what she could of a meal out of their rations, happy to listen in to any tunes Reghys may greet their ears with. And of course, she’d eventually settle in for the night.
Come the morning, Ebele would yawn and stretch with exaggeration to crack and pop as much of her joints and limbs. She’d rub at her bandages and smack her lips a little bit before finding her water skin to drink. The monk would take her deep morning breaths before finally getting up and ready to catch up with Kerric and T'chal'fronack'zcinicker. She’d nod. “Womford it is.”
OOC: We have no reason to believe the tower is involved, and the tracks disappear, so it makes sense to get back on the road to Womford unless there is another clue we come across as we are leaving.

Reghys plays some tunes into the evening, and will do their best to get up early enough to train with Kerric and Ebele, but unfortunately their resolve doesn't hold up when the other two rise before dawn. An hour or so later, the groggy satyr sits up, still not nearly rested well enough, but deciding that they didn't want to keep the group waiting any longer. If the tracks led back to the road, then their general direction of Wormford was probably as good as any to follow. In any case, Reghys loved the chance to see more of the lands. They felt a lot more inspired recently, though that probably had a lot more to do with their present company.

During the walk back to camp with Ebele, Xalkas is quite flabbergasted at how comfortable she is with the large creature that could eat him whole. But stays near her side anyways... though it’s clear he’s very uncomfortable by so doing and keeps Ebele between himself and Hawke.
Xalkas isn’t at all pleased that the trifling set up his tent in the area where Xalkas had been planing on bedding down for the evening ... ‘oh well.’ Thinks Xalkas. ‘Guess I’ll sleep by the fire where it’s warm’ (If there isn’t a fire. Xalkas would make one)
It’s there where he sees Hawke for the first time. He listens with curiosity during the explanation and shakes the proffered hand, not wanting to seem rude. “I was afraid we were being chased by a large wolf... though none of the others seemed to pay it ... you.” He corrects himself realizing his error. “Any mind. Do you take that shape often? Are the other forms I should make note of to not be frightened of them in the future?” Xalkas inquires very intrigued at how such transformations are possible.
The next morning, Xalkas shares with the group the name of the tower the group saw last night, Feathergale Spire. He also adds that it was supposedly unoccupied/abandoned to his knowledge. Perhaps it’s a staging area for whatever evil befell the delegation from Mirabar. Xalkas spends about ten minutes in the morning flipping through his book and preparing what he thinks could be useful during their day of travel.(be that to the tower or on to womford)
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker, “hmmmm. Well. I don’t like to pass up a good tower. Though I must say the logic of what you suggest doesn’t quite add up to me. Still. This whole delegation is just an excuse to go looking for unauthorized evil, and what better place to find such evil than an abandoned tower! I suggest we go investigate everyone. We’re here after all.”

"Didn't we want to head to Wormford and track down our last lead of the delegation? I know it might not be very promising, but this tower seems like a distraction. Oh wow, that sounds weird, coming from me." Reghys giggled a little, before they took on a more serious expression again. "Seriously though, unless it's on our route to Wromford, we should leave that to the side for now, as far as I'm concerned."

“I suggest a compromise. Let’s send someone perceptive and fleet of foot to check the area around the tower for boot prints like the ones we saw at the graves while the rest of us break camp. Ebele would shift her weight from one foot to the other. She couldn't run as fast as Hawke to keep up, so she had to accept the fact that they were splitting the party already. The monk would gently start chewing the inside of her lip in her shared concerns with Reghys. If he doesn't return in a reasonable time, they're going looking.
“If we are sending this new person,” Xalkas gestures towards Hawke, “Off by themselves to explore the tower off in the distance. I have something you can take with you just in case. ... that is if it’s not a hindrance once you turn into a bird.”
Xalkas rummages in his pack and brandishes a potion of healing. Holding it out for Hawke to grab if they so choose.
(Does Hawke have enough time using wild shape to fly to the tower and back? I’m sure that’s already been though of. Just wanted to check)
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker looks around at everyone showing so much concern for 'the new guy'. He shrugs, "He's a bird. He's going to go for a short flight. He'll be fine." He sits back down on the edge of the wagon and continues writing in a small book.
