They then ready a healing word should anyone else of their troupe fall unconcious, while slowly walking across the bridge and towards the remaining cultist.

T'chal'fronack'zcinicker looks up towards the cultist, then, whispering words that only the cultist can hear, says, "Look. As mentioned, you don't have Task Authorization in this situation. A contract with Task Authorizations is a method of supply for services under which all of the work or a portion of the work will be performed on an "as and when requested basis" through predetermined conditions including an administrative process involving task authorizations. With the water cultist wavering and blurring like an undulating wave, Kerric struggled to find an opening. Hoping the tactic would work again, Kerric feinted at the cultist's wavering face, then dropped his lead shoulder and thrust sideways at his center of mass, hoping the maneuver would help him gain purchase against the slippery foe's flesh!

The cultist may be blurry, but his outline is visible thanks to Reghys' melodies. This gives Xalkas a clear opening shot against the caster. His ice knife slices through the cultists inner elbow, shattering sharp shards in the middle of the battle.
Dex Save: 18
Despite the close proximity, the cultist moves his head in time to avoid a nasty shard to the eye.
Caught by surprise, Kerric takes a shard of ice to the left thigh.
Hawke manages to see the ice knife just in time to get on a hop back and away from the explosion!
“So much for talking to them first” Xalkas mutters as he makes his way over to Kerric. Holding a potion of healing up towards the elf simply says, “Sorry.” And waits for the warrior to grab the potion from him.
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker shoulders his crossbow, with a sigh, "No indeed. Unless they have a book of braille on them I think we're out of luck on that front. Though they attacked us unprovoked! So uncivilized." He brushes the remnants of sleet off of his shoulders and the front of his jacket, straightening his hat. "Nice work Kerric." He turns to Ebele... "Are you ok? You took quite a beating..." There's much he can do for her, but after checking on her, he goes about searching the one that had turned into a snake looking for anything of value...and prepares to take note of everything found on his ledger.

Kerric:
Looking at Xalkas, Kerric smiled, saying, "Eh, you were aiming at the water cultist. Fortunes of war and all." He does, however, take the potion and prepares to drink it, then finally notices the heavily wounded Ebele. Abruptly ending the conversation with Xalkas and ignoring T'Chal for the moment, Kerric walks over to her and puts his arm around her, steadying the injured monk and feeding her the healing potion Xalkas so graciously gave him.
Healing Potion for Ebele: 5
OOC: Sigh...Maybe you should roll for yourself, Ebele...
Xalkas is a bit surprised by the elven warriors quick departure. Watching him head back to the cart towards Ebele sees the blind monk barely able to stand.
He nearly leaps into the air in his fright and quickly hurries after Kerric. On the way to Ebele he gathers his last two healing potions and offers them to Ebele. Then sits down next to her holding her hand.
Seeing the last cultist fall by Kerric’s blade, the Druid decides to poof out of his wolf form. He makes a quick once over to gage how everyone was doing health wise, a worried gaze falling upon the monk. Ebele clearly looked to be the one doing worse than everyone else, but was swiftly taken care of by both Kerric and Xalkas, and, not wanting to crowd her further, he keeps at a safe distance and instead pokes around the enemies pockets for anything cool or useful.

Xalkas looks to Kerric, “Perhaps getting her on the wagon and then moving off of this bridge to the other side might be in order.” He looks imploringly at the fighter, knowing he isn’t anywhere near strong enough to move Ebele by himself.
"Right," says Kerric, nodding at Xalkas. To Ebele, he says, "I think you've earned a rest. Let me help you up and you can sit in the wagon." Still flush from the adrenaline of combat, Kerric almost bodily lifts Ebele directly into the wagon's seat while ostensibly 'helping' her. Nodding at Xalkas, he says, "Feel free to take the reins and get the wagon onto solid ground."
He then moves over to help with the bodies, finally answering T'Chal, "The cultists didn't seem to be in the talking mood this morning. Perhaps their possessions may tell us something about them."

Ebele would stagger slightly, putting a hand out to steady herself against the cart as she’d return her staff to her back. Hearing T'chal'fronack'zcinicker, she’d lift her head. “I’m okay.” She’d nod in appreciation. “Thank you T'chal'fronack'zcinicker.” A sheepish smile would tug at her lips. His words were what lifted her off the ground. If it wasn’t for that, she’d have dirt napped almost the whole time. “I’d argue it was more of a breathtaking experience.” An awkward chuckle would leave her lips.
The monk would suddenly feel a familiar hand steady her and press something cold to her lips. It’d take her a second to register Kerric was feeding her a potion. She’d accept it, but would have to bring a hand to her lips to stifle a small cough to clear her throat. Ebele would be about to thank him when she’d feel a familiar set of hands press two healing potions in hers, holding them. The halfelf started to feel her face begin to flush from all the fuss, but before she could say anything to pause the pair from ‘conspiring’, Kerric swept her from her feet and placed her in the cart. “I-“ By the time Ebele cleared her brain fog, the two were assisting and taking care of the next task. The wagon began to move. Realizing they were gone she’d smile softly, stifling a light giggle to herself. Thank you.
Xalkas manages to coax Bill to pad his way safely to the other side of the bridge. He gives the wizard a sneeze followed by a light bray in appreciation for the guidance. Once brought to a stop, the horse would give a little two step dance of his front hooves before giving a playful kick of a stone towards Hawke for ‘forgetting’ him.
During the groups investigation of the unconscious bodies, T'chal'fronack'zcinicker would find two daggers on the body he searched. Kerric would also discover two daggers on the other large cultist body. Remaining closes to the casters body, Hawke would uncover a quarterstaff. You all pool the change you found together.
Showing his meager haul to T'Chal and putting the daggers in the wagon, Kerric offers, "Nothing useful on the bodies other than them self-identifying as water cultists. I guess we should be more careful crossing bridges."
The elven warrior takes up his place next to the wagon as they move on, hoping to find someone a bit more reasonable they can talk with in town.
