Bursting through the fractured window into the main room at top speed, the elven warrior in gleaming armor and wielding the deadly Elven Curved Blade rushes in to stem the tide of the oncoming undead! Speeding past the uncertain commoners and into the thick of the foe, Kerric stops at the threshold of the secret door and adopts a defensive posture with the intent of blocking any further undead from entering the room and attracting any other attacks to his person. He calls to the vulnerable freed prisoners, "Take heart, people of Womford. Help has arrived!"

The teifling wearing a stylish suit and hat wanders in with a hurried, awkward shuffling step, stepping clumsily through the broken window, just behind the elf warrior. He's got a heavy crossbow tucked into under his arm as he seems to be busy trying to get a cork into an ink well, and a bag hanging partially off one shoulder and open under his other arm where he's trying to tuck things into. Under his breath he seems to be doing some math, which he finishes with a "26 copper. It's a start." He glances around at all the commoners, a dumbfounded look on his face, "Has anyone here signed a rescue contract?! What in holy hell fires have I been doing?! I'm slipping."

“I may have a few tricks left…” Xalkas replies while surveying these surprise opponents. Looking for the best opportunity to catch as many as possible with the same spell. (It seemed like there were only two creatures. But wasn’t 100% certain)

Ebele would stand up, cradling pieces of fractured time in her hands. After a moment she'd starting popping her lips, rocking back and forth on her heels.
Hidden Boat Landing (Out of initiative)
Latching onto his prey once more, Crawke spins with a deadly flourish. His foe was vanquished.
Reghys, having laid eyes on the large cast iron fire grate and some rickety tables spins around to some of the burlier commoners: "You two, I need you to get this table up before the door and you both, I need help with this large grate, I want to lay it over the top. Kerric, can you push them back far enough so we can set up the barricade? Once we have it in place I have a mind to use the fire grate for it's intended purpose..."
Reghys will then try to pick up the fire grate with help from some of the commoners and place it and the table close to the broken entrance, once possible. They then go about getting ready to play some firey tune to heat metal on the grate, as soon as the undead try to clamber over the barricade.
Once the creatures are close, the satyr utters a low growl before stomping their hooves and unleashing a howl, and then, to the rhythm of a savage beat on their drum, they growl another dwarvish battle hymn:

Ebele pokes her head into the keep from the window Kerric had busted through. She'd tip toe in, head turning as she'd try to take in the sounds of what was happening. There was a gentle tap on T'chal'fronack'zcinicker's shoulder. It was the monk presenting him with a pile of sand with pebbles mixed in, glass and bits of wood. "I sort of lost track of time...".
Active: Heat Metal Barrier wide enough for 3 side by side.
With the ghouls pushed back as far as he can, Kerric focuses on taking down the one attacking him. "Push them back! Stem the tide!" he calls, slashing at the ghoul before him and positioning himself to shove any more that boil up through the secret door back down to the depths away from those he is trying to protect.
Reghys, satisfied that the barrier will hold for now, looks over to Kerric: "Great work! You've done your elvish ancestors proud today!", hoping to impart some bardic inspiration. They then call over to Ebele to make their position known: "We got a flaming barricade up with Kerric pushing the rest back. Help us hold them off on this side!"
They focus their attention on helping their allies holding the line

Kerric cuts down the corpse before him. It tumbles halfway down the stairs from the force of his finishing blow. The warrior then encourages the group to press forward to continue pushing the ghouls back. Reghys works to facilitate Kerric's efforts with the commoners, coordinating their barrier forward. The satyr would also take the time to orient Ebele, steering her safely around the barrier and in a strategic position for her fighting style.

Hawke hears the familiar dying cry of these creatures echo up the stairs before the same tumbling sound as before, though it only stopped halfway. There Crawke was, still standing at the base of the stairs still wrestling with the annoying snack in front of him that was dispensed down the stairs to him earlier.

Crawke was confident in his ability to dispatch the creature that was just so conveniently dropped to him, but that confidence turned and bit him in the ass when the thing managed to escape his jaws and struck right back! He was ready to retaliate, but he felt his body begin to lock up, finding himself unable to move.
Shit, shit, shit! Mentally, he begins to panic, screaming at himself to ******* MOVE, but to no avail!

Down Below Crawke panics, pushes and paws, or at least attempts to. Nothing happens. His body feels like a giant brick weighing him down, burning where the ghoul broke through his thick hide. He was a sitting croc! Until he wasn’t. He could move just fine.
Up Above In the groove and completely comfortable in the corner, T'chal'fronack'zcinicker cocks off a shot, crashing into a creature.
Reghys guides Ebele, painting a picture of the scene unraveling before her with their song and word. Rolling her shoulders back, the monk inhales a deep breath to centre herself and find balance. She couldn't help but recognize the sinking sense that she was missing something big and important. And it was not her eyesight.
Taking firm hold of her staff, Ebele zeros in on the ghoulish noises ahead of her and unleashes a flurry of blows.

The forth ghoul reaches for Berd through the barrier while the second ghoul thrashes wildly in retaliation from Ebele's knock about. Those next to the barrier could see, and smell the rotting flesh burn against the hot metal.

There was a gentle tap on T'chal'fronack'zcinicker's shoulder. It was the monk presenting him with a pile of sand with pebbles mixed in, glass and bits of wood. "I sort of lost track of time...".

With the ghouls pushed back as far as he can, Kerric focuses on taking down the one attacking him. "Push them back! Stem the tide!" he calls, slashing at the ghoul before him and positioning himself to shove any more that boil up through the secret door back down to the depths away from those he is trying to protect.

Reghys, satisfied that the barrier will hold for now, looks over to Kerric: "Great work! You've done your elvish ancestors proud today!", hoping to impart some bardic inspiration. They then call over to Ebele to make their position known: "We got a flaming barricade up with Kerric pushing the rest back. Help us hold them off on this side!"

Kerric cuts down the corpse before him. It tumbles halfway down the stairs from the force of his finishing blow. The warrior then encourages the group to press forward to continue pushing the ghouls back. Reghys works to facilitate Kerric's efforts with the commoners, coordinating their barrier forward. The satyr would also take the time to orient Ebele, steering her safely around the barrier and in a strategic position for her fighting style.

Hawke hears the familiar dying cry of these creatures echo up the stairs before the same tumbling sound as before, though it only stopped halfway. There Crawke was, still standing at the base of the stairs still wrestling with the annoying snack in front of him that was dispensed down the stairs to him earlier.

T'chal'fronack'zcinicker settles into a rhythm as the group pushes the zombies back. He continues reloading his crossbow and firing into the undead creatures.

Crawke was confident in his ability to dispatch the creature that was just so conveniently dropped to him, but that confidence turned and bit him in the ass when the thing managed to escape his jaws and struck right back! He was ready to retaliate, but he felt his body begin to lock up, finding himself unable to move.
Shit, shit, shit! Mentally, he begins to panic, screaming at himself to ******* MOVE, but to no avail!

Crawke panics, pushes and paws, or at least attempts to. Nothing happens. His body feels like a giant brick weighing him down, burning where the ghoul broke through his thick hide. He was a sitting croc! Until he wasn’t. He could move just fine.
Up Above
In the groove and completely comfortable in the corner, T'chal'fronack'zcinicker cocks off a shot, crashing into a creature.
Reghys guides Ebele, painting a picture of the scene unraveling before her with their song and word. Rolling her shoulders back, the monk inhales a deep breath to centre herself and find balance. She couldn't help but recognize the sinking sense that she was missing something big and important. And it was not her eyesight.
Taking firm hold of her staff, Ebele zeros in on the ghoulish noises ahead of her and unleashes a flurry of blows.

Ebele cut down what was left of the ghoul T'chal'fronack'zcinicker severely wounded. She continued to kick on, beating the next ghoul in line.

The forth ghoul reaches for Berd through the barrier while the second ghoul thrashes wildly in retaliation from Ebele's knock about. Those next to the barrier could see, and smell the rotting flesh burn against the hot metal.
