T'chal'fronack'zcinicker emerges from the water, and moves away from it with a thick sigh of relief. Almost immediately his confident legal self puffs itself up to take back control. He takes his hat, and flicks it with a finger, a bit of magic cleaning off the grime and water...before placing it back on his head. Drenched, but feeling better none-the-less....he takes off his crossbow, checking it's parts, before setting a bolt and backing up Kerric.

Despite being the first through the tunnel to make sure the resident water guard wouldn't be much a problem, Flux pulled himself out of the waterway only to sit alongside it and leave his feet dangling in the pool seeming to wait for the others. Yet well after the last person had surfaced and were making their way for the door, the dwarven genasi lagged behind for as long as possible to enjoy a long overdue soak.... before a guilty conscious or call from the others eventually warranted a defeated sigh and his dragging his way away from the water.
"Anything?" He asks of Kerric, gesturing to the door. And upon recieving any confirmation he'd stand about fifteen feet behind the man and puff out his cheeks from filling them with more acidic spit, prior to then giving the elf a thumbs up.

Emerging from the water, Ebele lets go of T'chal'fronack'zcinicker's hand and pushes her stray hair away from her face. Swimming forward, she pulls herself up onto the platform to catch her breath and prepare to move on with the others. She helps Xalkas out of the water so he could join them too.
Kerric takes the lead back onto surface and moves through the room. Blood stains upon the floor were evidence of the battles they fought here. The waters were calm as if aquatic danger's thirst was quelled for now. With Lewin's guidance and Flux's back(ed) up phlegm, the elven knight bravely enters the western doorway into... a mundane hallway.
In this hallway there's a door to the south and to the west. Moving into the space you could hear some snoring coming from behind the door to the south.
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker moves up to the doorway to the south, making a 'shhh' motion. Then he looks at everyone and makes a quick 1, 2, 3 motion, and a door pushing motion, and points at Kerric and points through the door. Then....plan set...he sets himself up next to the door, ready to try and open it. He makes a sudden "duh I forgot" motion and, as gently and quietly as possible, attempts to see if the door is unlocked and can swing open, and if it opens in or out. Assuming it's good to go, he prepares himself, then puts his fingers up, counting down from three, two, one, and then he shoves the door open hard, and steps to one side, allowing Kerric to rush in, and any other behind them, before bringing his crossbow to bear, aiming into the room.

As someone all too self-aware of his own lack of agility outside of more watery domains (and even then, he's not much better!), Flux stepped only so far out of the hallway as it was necessary to have eyes on the southern door. And with a wince, he appeared to swallow what acid droll had been built up before cheeks once more are filled to the point that some of the acid even slips past his lips and hit the stone ground with a hiss. Then with a thumbs up given to T'chal'fronack'zcinicker for assurance, Flux squat down a little in preparation to make somebody's day a very painful one!
Hearing the hiss of acid, Ebele tiptoes wide of Flux. Just as everyone else prepares, she takes hold of her staff in preparation to follow suit.
The door isn't locked and appears to open inward. Armed with that critical information T'chal'fronack'zcinicker begins a count down. The door swings open to reveal a well-appointed room that contains eight bunks of snoozing cultists in various dress. There's a round table with several chairs, tapestries of green and blue, and a copper brazier full of glowing coals. An arrow slit looks out over a dark canal to the south.
Refraining from rushing in given the sleeping forms present and his own dubious stealth capabilities, Kerric backs up and whispers, “Can someone sneak in and knock them out while they sleep? I’d rather not have them attack us through those arrow slits if we have to go upriver.”

Flux points to his cheeks, and then shrugs while giving an apologetic grin. Though in doing so a bit more of the acid leaks out past his lip. After some chin rubbing while examining the rest of the group, his eyes fall upon Ebele and He-Who-Of-The-Many-Letters to give them a few encouraging shifty eyes and ushering gestures towards the barracks.

“Seriously? This is where everyone pauses to grow a conscious?” Ebele mutters as the task looks to her. Feeling eyes of peer pressure, she sighs and moves in. Taking a stance, the monk inhales a concentrating breath before launching into a flurry of blows. There’s no way she could knock all of these guys out, but someone had to be ‘the bad guy’.

Flux Initiative: 12.
Flux looked both taken aback and a little offended at the accusation! But in his haste to gesticulate a response seeing as his mouth was still full at the time, he forgets for a moment a certain key fact that would see his "words" fall on the proverbial deaf ears. Nevertheless, once punches started flying and possible noises of alarm began issuing forth, his shoulders sag in defeat before clammy hands started groping for a weapon at the half-dwarf's belt.

His train of thought is quickly derailed as Ebele leaps into the room and begins thawking. THAT was more like it. See Kerric?!? THIS is how it's done.
With a mild look of disapproval at the elf, and a sad shake of his head, he almost absently raises his crossbow to shoot one of the targets.

Ebele opens up with a flurry of blows which were elegant and effective. Like a stylized knock out dance, the monk brings her staff down swiftly upon the first sleeping cultist's forehead with a hollow thwack. With him out like a light, she swings back up and around to repeat the same black-out smack. Then as a third dare snort extra loudly in his blissful sleep, he's met with hand chops to the throat which silent him in his sleep.
Three of eight cultists down.

Surprise Roll Call
Xalkas: You may drop the fireball in the room but may have to use your fancy skill to avoid allies getting scolded. Things will catch fire. Lewin: May bearshift as his surprise round Flux: May launch his acid T: May launch his bolt Kerric: May lend help
Hoping Ebele is able to quickly and quietly KO the sleeping cultists, Kerric stands ready to help. Staying still until and unless someone starts to wake, Kerric will leap forward and try to quiet any cultist who awakens and starts to raise the alarm.
Help to keep cultists quiet while sneaky people knock them out.
