What's the difference between a Wizard and a Sorcerer? Class.
After a few moments Xalkas steps back from the door. “If there’s anything on the other side ... I didn’t hear it.” Standing ready to go through the door either second or third.
Kerric listens to the door as well, then prepares to open it if he hears nothing. He will have his Elven Curved Blade sheathed and try to hide his features within the cloak.
Perception: 19
If he hears something, he will whisper to the others before opening the door.
This fifty-foot-square chamber is hewn out of rock. The floor is rough but flat, the walls show the chisel-marks of the original builders, and the ceiling is about ten feet high. Identical stone doors with iron pull-ring handles stand in the middle of the east, north, and west walls. In the center of the room stands a life-sized and lifelike statue of a dwarf warrior wearing a chain shirt, helm, and big boots. He carries a shield on his left arm and a battleaxe in his right hand. The statue has clearly been broken into, roughly, the head and upper torso, lower torso, and legs. These pieces have been reassembled and held together and upright in a stout wooden frame.
Ebele's sense of awareness through the whole previous room: 18
The monk would stand at the edge of the room with her arms crossed while the boys explored and experimented with the room. Although she did not directly contribute to any conversation or discovery, she did have to practice some hard listening and sound disecting to try to decipher everything that transpired. But one thing she could note for sure was the pleasant change in their Satyr. It seems as though they found some relief to their anxiety, and that was worth the time spent. And of course, T'chal was able to complete his experiments, hopefully to his satisfaction.
Will Ebele make it through the room without incident when the boys move on: 15
Ebele had been aware of the phenomenon to avoid in the centre of the room, therefore she moved through the room in a bit of a wide arc. She'd do her best to follow the footsteps of the others, but in her haste to try to catch up with them, her foot would catch one of the stray rocks from T's experiment. "Wuh-" She'd stumble as the rock goes skidding across the floor. Catching herself before she could take a tumble, the monk would adjust her inside out robe and continue like nothing happened.
As she's shuffled around to somewhere in the middle front is of the group, Ebele would assume they've come to a new area. Hearing Kerric open the door 'for her', she'd nod politely. "Why thank you." And she'd just waltz right into the room
Xalkas attempts to recall information relating to the statue or if nothing comes to mind where he remembers seeing or reading about it previously. He also lets out a sigh as Ebele waltzes into the room and goes up and inspects it up close.
With his good Perception check, Kerric realizes that Ebele's cloak is not quite on correctly. He helps her adjust it before he opens the door.
Looking at the door on the western wall, he tries to figure out if it might line up with the central hallway from before. He moves into the room with Ebele, drawing his sword as there seem to be no cultists here to try and deceive. To T'chal'fronack'zcinicker, he comments, "I haven't been keeping a precise mental map, but that door on the western wall might line up with the original hallway--what do you think?"

anyone approaching the statue notices a ring of gravel in a 5 ft circle around it, inside the ring A dagger along with several coins and gems lie on the floor in front of the statue. there seems to be a small sign on the frame holding the statue
Seeing the ring of gravel and the various items on the floor Xalkas flips through his book seeing if any spells require such things. Then peers at the sign, staying outside the gravel ring, trying to make out what it says.
Keeping watch while the others investigate, Kerric is concerned that there are multiple entrances to the room. His eyes do, however, stray to the shiny treasures on the floor.

Xalkas relays the information from the sign to the rest of the group “I think this was an actual dwarf once ... and I don’t see any reference in my book to any spells using a gravel ring such as this. ... Do we dare grab the items? Should we continue to press forward or go back?” Xalkas says beginning to wonder about the light from the house ... ‘maybe they were heading here ... no surely not. That’s silly‘ he thinks to himself. ‘Why would the people living next to the quarry be part of some cult ... but why wouldn’t they be is another excellent question...’ Xalkas shakes his head tryin to relieve himself of worrying about it for now.
at that point the Western door slams open. six human figures enter their armor bearing the triangle symbol you saw carved on the corpses, they are followed by a large half orc
