Kerric:
Dispatching the last cultist, Kerric rushes into the other room at the mention of a victim who may yet live. He goes over to inspect the situation and starts carefully removing stones, trying to assess the person’s state of health as he does...though he still keeps an eye out for a trap.

all told around the statue is 440 cp, 253 sp, and 97 gp. Six small green agates (worth 5 gp each) and two polished moonstones (worth 50 gp each) , and a dagger decorated with a star motif and the word Reszur engraved on its pommel
the boy begs for some water and seems to be drifting in and out of conciousness
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker scribbles in some papers, and sits down to carefully count all of the coins and sort them into different pouches which he then deposits in his bag. Anyone looking over his shoulder sees a ledger in several columns with numbers scribbled all over them, though he does his best to casually hide the details from folks.
He rubs his eyes and groans. "Ooooh, I've got so much paper work to do tonight still.....I hope this place isn't any bigger."
“Indeed, Braelen, this seems like a harsh punishment, but you have borne up under it well. You are safe now; we only want to understand what is going on here. Who is your father, and what was this message? Do you live around here?” asks Kerric, trying to speak innocuous questions in case this boy’s father is involved with the cult.

While Kerric began the discussion with the hydrating boy, Ebele would use her hands to complete a medical check of their elf's wounds. Although he didn't even ask for it, she'd feel around and follow the blood to the gash. Muscle memory would take over and the monk would pull some supplies from her medic kit to begin methodically patching up Kerric. Should the boy require any wounds tended too, she would offer to mend.
Reghys is quietly taking in the "interrogations". The spilling of the blood of prisoners seems somewhat less "heroic" than they would have expected, given the sagas. Still, onwards they must go. At the sight of the trapped boy, Reghys pays particular attention to Ebele's efforts to patch up Kerric's wounds. The satyr made sure to take some notes, as those were the sort of details that could really flesh out a good story, beyond just being helpful for their own survival.

Not being from around here, Kerric doesn’t know much about these people, but he shoots a look to the others for help, saying to the kid, “That could happen to anyone, losing a message like that. But how did you end up down here in tunnels beneath the quarry for punishment...That seems a bit strange?” Kerric cuts off before he adds his final through, considering it unhelpful at this moment, but it rings in his head...”even for humans”.

”One more thing, young man, are you or your father mixed up in this Earth Cult? The one with the Stone Masks?” asks Kerric, now getting to the meat of the issue. If this boy is a member of the cult, there are some difficult decisions to be made.

Witnessing the death of the bound cultist, Xalkas recoils quickly in shock at the speed and swiftness of the elven warrior. Leaving him too shocked to even speak when Kerric addresses him.
Xalkas watches quietly as Ebele takes a crack at getting information from the other cultist. Not surprised that the end result is ultimately the same. Not even hearing that there is a ‘prisoner’ in the next room is enough to rouse Xalkas from his stupor. He stands in the same place he had been since the cultist died by Kerrics blade.
‘I left my instructor in search of real field experience ... I never expected it to be like this ... not sure what I expected, but not killing people that were unable to defend themselves ... even if they were just trying to kill us’. Anyone observing Xalkas can tell he is deeply troubled about the deaths of the last two cultists/bandits.
Finally the scribbling of T'chal'fronack'zcinicker quill manages to break Xalkas’s stupor and he goes round to the tiefling to see what he is writing. Fortunately for the little gnome, the tiefling is sitting and looks on in scholarly appreciation for the tieflings chart. ‘Perhaps he does deserve a bit extra for tracking all of the Ardent Alliances ... spoils’ he thinks to himself.
(Point of note Xalkas also requested a dagger from the bandit cave and Ebele is listed. I don’t know if she asked for one as well or not. Just pointing it out since it does actually seem like you are doing the ‘bookkeeping’)
Seeing the dagger, Xalkas takes an interest in it and examines it as closely as he can, curious what the word means as well as the star symbol. (Not sure what rolls you would like: history, arcana, religion, etc.)
His curiosity finally getting the best of him from looking at this dagger picks it up and says aloud “Reszur“ wondering perhaps if this is the name of the dagger.
