Xalkas mutters quietly under his breath “Not like we signed a contract to stay out or anything.” Then a bit louder adds “People are usually hiding illicit activities with signs like this... at least that’s what I’ve read anyways.”
Ebele would smile broadly at the suggestion to get in on the friendly wager. "I will absolutely put up my cider." She'd tilt her head up to pat her nose in thought. "Supplies." Would be her ask in return. "To specify: Berries, plants and herbs for brewing, cooking, poi-tion making and refilling of my medical supplies." The monk would provide a list for T'chal'fronack'zcinicker's reference.
The blonde would ready her staff when Kerric would suggest they investigate. She'd fall in line. The monk would use her heightened senses to sniff as they moved to look for gasses or spores that could threaten the team.
Seeing everyone else in their party getting ready, Reghys is struggling to decide whether to get their flute, or their rapier ready. Given the three-way wager, the satyr chooses the flute for now. They pay little attention to their surroundings for the time being, instead thinking of the set list to perform when the group inevitably comes across some adversaries.
Reghys had settled on opening with Enter Sandman, originally a lullaby, but turned into a battlehymn by a dwarven skald. Depending on the reaction, they might follow that up with Fireflies an elvish ballad, or maybe instead going for The Heat is On, a gnomish worker's song, popular among blacksmiths and tinkerers. As an encore, or maybe a teaser in the middle, the crowds usually loved a bit of a personal touch, so Reghys was considering I'm Gonna Win, the chanson of a human hero against the odds, or maybe Lay your hands on Me, a racous halfling shanty and very popular in the northern seafaring communities.
Pretty happy with that, Reghys is quietly smiling to themselves, whilst humming some of the trickier bits of the different songs in preparation.

after a few minutes following the path you come upon a cave
The cave mouth opens into darkness from which a breezes blows, carrying the faint odor of death. Inside is a natural cave, its floor and ceiling uneven. The passage leads to the west, narrowing as it proceeds
Tightening his grip on the Elven Curved Blade, Kerric looks carefully ahead and moves into the cave, but first he asks, "Does anyone need a source of light before we go in? I don't have anything, but I can wait if someone wants to light a lamp or a torch."

Xalkas pulls out his mundane dagger and mutters an incantation under his breath and the dagger gives off a gentle white light illuminating the mouth of the cave. Xalkas begins making a mental map of the area.
Ebele was following her nose despite the smell of death. Though as per Kerric's suggestion, she'd wait while others may want to produce some light for themselves.
Ebele will run her hand along the cave walls to feel her way around. She would also be slow and sure with her steps to test for any presence of traps as she maneuvered her way along.
OOC: Kerric is fine going second behind someone good at searching for traps and being stealthy (scouting). He is okay at both those things, but is not optimized for it.

(Ooc: Ebele would just be being careful for herself as to not trigger anything as she went. She would normally follow behind others unless specifically directed. She too is not optimized for trap checking or scouting.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Xalkas would prefer to be in the middle so everyone gets equal benefit from his light. (Is the map oriented north is at top?
North is up yes
