As they resume their journey, T'chal'fronack'zcinicker mutters to himself, "I didn't see any sort of flash, there was no sign of lightning, yet I'd swear the thunder was right ontop of us. I don't understand...." He continues to peer around at the hills suspiciously, one hand on his heavy crossbow.

"You're safe, Ebele,"Hawke says telepathically to the monk. "We got you, okay? We got you..." Seeing that Xalkas and Reghys were taking care of her, he severs the link to then bond one to T'chal who was muttering about the thunder. "It was your gnome friend, boss. Was testing out somethin' new he said. Don't lash out on him too hard. He feels real bad about it and didn't mean to hurt no one."
With that he says aloud, "We have about an hour before the rain comes. Keep your eyes peeled for any sorta cover... Though I'm ****in' doubtin' it with all these ****in' grasslands and hills..." He mutters the ending in annoyance.

Although it was bitter sweet, the ringing in her ears had finally started. It was the first sign she wasn't permanently deaf. Ebele still felt a little disoriented and nauseous, but there were some distorted sounds she could hear if she focused enough. It only sounded like 'Wah Wah Wah''s. But they accompanied familiar presence at least. But then there was one sound she could feel rumble through her chest. Thunder. The monk would tense, bracing herself for the sound, the pain, or anything else that came with it. Mercy.
The rumble was barely audible yet. There was no pain. Only drips of rain. And two hands in hers providing their own form of assurance. Xalkas and Reghys. Then came another grumble of thunder. Ebele would squeeze their hands, and not very gently. At first she'd only be able to feel Reghys' singing, causing some tears to well up in her eyes in appreciation for it when the ringing would finally come to a fading halt.
Thank you... Ebele's response was sheepish.
Her body would defy her will against it, flinching from the continued ominous roll of thunder. Mercy. The monk could hear it clearly now. She'd slouch down further in the cart wanting to pull her cowl up, cover her ears and hide. Instead of letting go though, Ebele would squeeze both their hands again. You're okay. She'd repeat to herself, taking a breath.
Reghys would take their coat and spread it over them and Ebele, before then activiating the drift globe within, to cast light while they keep dry.

T'chal'fronack'zcinicker sits glumly on the front seat, the hood of his poncho up as he continually tries to pull the poncho over his legs so they stay dry along with the rest of him....though all around the edges water is dripping in and soaking hems. His feet are soaked as well. He sulks in the rain as they press forward. He turns to Hawke talking overly loud to break through the sound of the rain, "Eventually the wagon will get stuck in the mud. We should probably set up tents and just get in and stay dry until it passes."

Hawke didn't mind the rain, and it truly showed when he didn't bother trying to cover up or anything. Wouldn't be his first time getting soaked! And damn did he look good wet. When T'chal turns to him and begins to speak over the rain, the druid leans over a bit to hear him better. "Yeah, probably a good idea." He answers back, quickly working on getting the horses to slow down to a trot then a full stop on the side of the road.
"We're gonna work on gettin' some tents down to wait out the rain," Hawke says to let the others know of the idea. As he gets off the wagon, he casts Druidcraft again in one hand to know if the rain would clear up hopefully within the next 24 hours.

a small orb appears in Hawkes hand showing rain, rain rain then towards the end of the spell a waning crescent moon
you also happen to pull over next to a rise in the ground as the rain starts coming down harder, lightning flashing through the sky as if some mighty wizards duel is occurring overhead
Xalkas looks a bit miffed at not being included in Reghys covering Ebele and themselves. And scoots to the back of the wagon, framing his face between the bars of the bear cage, and water streams down it. He feels a pang if guilt for the chaos and confusion his experimenting has caused. Though that his outweighed by the jubilation he feels at having discovered a new way to manipulate the weave. And seemingly in a way he can easily do again... though with the rest of the alliance a bit further away.
He calls up the front of the wagon, “Do you folks see anywhere to get out of this rain?” Looking to the poor gnome he looks positively miserable and doing his best to keep his books dry, hiding them in his clothes and jacket as best he can.
Reghys, hearing mostly returned, peaks out from underneath their coat: "Do I have to spell out the dangers of hunkering down in a bear cave?"

Ebele would feel the protective cover of Reghys’ coat and Xalkas’ comfort pull away suddenly. She’d use her now free hand to pull the back of her cowl up over her head for added comfort and pull her knees into her chest to help calm some shuddering. The monk’s head would hang low while she pursed her lips. Her focus kept fading in and out. She still had not fully grasped or understood what happened. Her mind kept racing and jolting in panic as the sound and storm rolled in closer. Ebele felt childish, and she’d shift uncomfortably, but would finally ask. “Is the lightning chasing us?” Her voice was sheepish.
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker looks back at Reghys, "CAGE. Bear CAGE! The one in the back of our wagon. Which is NO COVER AT all...which was my point, there is NO cover.........ug!! " With the horses stopping, he gets up and begins pulling out his tent. He begins wrapping it around the top of the cage, making a tarp of sorts, and then motions inside, "There, that's the best cover we're getting, unless you want to sit under the wagon in the mud and tiny streams...."
He clambers into the bear cage and sits down under his makeshift cover.
