Ebele would have paused mid rock kick when she'd hear Hawke's voice in her head. She'd lower her foot tentatively, head looking down indicating body language that almost seemed like horror at the nudged thought. She'd let the emotions wash through her and she'd put her hands on her hips, accepting it. Well, they strengthen my toes so I can kick ass. The monk would smirk, then boot the rock in response. It was true. kicking rocks was one of the first training lessons she got.
"Thank you for sharing Reghys." Ebele would offer them a smile. Then after a moment, her head would tilt in thought. "Hey... wasn't I supposed to get like one drink for getting something wrong?" She'd reach for the wineskin.
Morning:
Ebele would happily accept some morning tea to wash down a dry breakfast after some morning stretches. She'd lift her mug in thanks to Kerric enjoying the warmth of the tea and fire. It was almost as if she could hear T'chal'fronack'zcinicker's shivering. "Imagine if we were forever stuck in this muck?" She'd jest. "Living out here can't be so bad!" She was building on Hawke's final words.
Reghys gave Ebele a wink, and in the corresponding tone of voice said: "I gotta admit, you got me. Part of the reason I suggested the game was so we could all taste some more of your delicious berry cider."
The next morning:
Reghys happily accepts some tea as well, glad to enjoy the deep aromas and flavours of the brew. After finishing the drink, they went up to Xalkas, tapping him on the shoulder: "If you're ready with the music box, I think I know what song to sing now."

As you all conversed over tea and breakfast by the warmth of Kerric's fire, the sun began to rise higher in the sky. It presented promise of a bright day and much drier roads for travel. You all relax to enjoy the morning, taking your time to complete your various tasks. Once everyone was ready to break camp, a final check list should be well on its way to ensure no further complications arise along the route.
How would you all like to make your final preparations?
(Making sure everyone has clicked that long rest button. Take this time to give your character a once over, prepare any spells and RP kick off.)

Will be taking this very casual, especially through the holidays, so again please be patient as we learn and feel out the pace. By all means, please feel free to RP or fluff post as much as you desire.
Thought is, would be to get us to Womford (right?), somewhere where we can do a little down time possible side RP while I read up on the campaign and everyone collects themselves and enjoys their holidays.
No pressure. Only fun.

And if we completely derail this and go off on character side stories or something, so be it XD As long as everyone's having fun. With that said...
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker wakes up the next morning feeling damp. But Kerric's fire warmed him up and the sun did a good job of drying his clothes. He spent the morning tuning up his inherited heavy crossbow, subtly weaving magic into his work repairing each part of the thing until it worked fully. With a dry, brush cleaned suit, and dry hat, and his tie done up just right under his vest, he threw his brutish shield onto the back of the wagon. The tent and sleeping gear were shoved into his magical bag. Then he returned to the fire to begin writing up his usual report. He pulled out his writing board and scroll from the backpack, revelling in his new found ability to just pull whatever he needs when he needs. He has a happy little wobble to his head and a very self pleased smirk on his face.
He begins scribbling on the paper in infernal. A few minutes later he completes it. He pulls out a special red ribbon from within his bag and wraps the scroll up. As he finishes tying it, the scroll glows red with embers and slowly the embers consume the scroll until it's gone. "I'm sure Corporate will be pleased by our progress," he announces, "though we've yet to identify the unauthorized evil agents acting in this region, I feel we're getting closer."
He turns and smiles to the group, "Now, I've made a number of tweaks to our company contract....who would like to be the first member to refuse to sign the contract this morning?" He smiles, obviously in a playful mood...and pretends to offer to the group, "No? No one?" He tosses it back into the bag. "Well then, shall we take this day, this wagon, and the shining sun, and make a day of it?"
WOOHOO! Thanks Ixi!!
Sounds awesome.
FYI, I've tweaked two of his spells. I found that he and the cloven foot one were stepping on each others toes a bit too much. I hope thats ok!
A mighty yawn emits from the druid as he awakens, soon stretching his arms over his head to alleviate the aches he felt after a rest like that. By this point, he was used to sleeping in damp conditions, but he never had to worry about anyone else other than himself. Having other around did have its perks, such as a nice warming cup of tea waiting for you, not needing to hunt down your breakfast when berries got boring, and the company was... nice.
After breakfast, Hawke works on getting the horses together (after grazing) and harnessing them to the wagon for the journey ahead. When T'chal speaks of contracts, the druid turns his head with a raised a brow, then shakes his head with a chuckle, gaze returning back on the horses. "Lookin' like your in a good mood, Snickers, despite everythin' that happened yesterday." Just as he says that, he finishes with the harnessing and gives Bill a good pat on the neck. "Gettin' better every day."
He moves to the wagon, hopping on up to the driver's seat. "Let's get movin'!"
Of course, waiting for the others before we push on!

Kerric:
Stretching languorously, Kerric stood up from his fire and smiled at his companions, saying, "Another day dawns on the companions of the Argent Alliance. Shall we get underway?" As is his wont, the Elven soldier walks beside the wagon as they travel, keeping a sharp eye out for threats or clues to the delegation's mysterious disappearance.

After conversing with Reghys and getting his help on the music box. Xalkas clambers into the back of the wagon and prepares his spells for the coming day.
Ebele felt the warmth on her skin, giving her a sense of rejuvenation while she basked in the morning sun that was breaking through. She would eat her fill of breakfast and enjoy tea in good company. The playful and positive moods shared by the others were also infectious. She'd help the others break camp when it came time.
The monk felt light on her feet, aching to train and eager to get adventuring. So while the others did their their last minute checks and preparations, the blonde could be found off in a small clearing, walking the rim of a bowl?
When Ebele would hear Hawke's boarding call, she'd hop off the bowl. After taking her breaths and completing a rushed closing bow, she'd chug the small amount of water that was in the bowl and dart over, catching up to walk alongside Kerric.
DM
Bill would let out an enthusiastic ney when Hawke would tend to him and the additions. He'd even mimic the druids chuckle over the tiefling's ramblings with a hearty chuff of his own. And when Hawke would give Bill a pat of praise, he'd prance his two front hooves in a little dance to show his appreciation for the care and treatment he's been receiving. The old horse still had his quirks mind you, but with the rain cleared and the sunny skies, things felt promising. His arthritis didn't seem to be as bad today. He was good to go, willing to show the other whipper snappers he could still loyally haul ass. Just a little slower. And maybe a little wabble here and there.
Once everyone had settled into their respected comforts of travel, Hawke and T'chal'fronack'zcinicker paired with the reins, Xalkas and Reghys are secure with the cargo in the cart, Ebele and Kerric striding alongside, the group truly knew they were well on their way when Reghys would break into song from the back of the wagon. Their voice filled the air while their instrument set the beat of their steps, a pace Bill could even keep up with. The Argent Alliance was on their way.
Kerric was diligent and alert today. With his head on a swivel, he maintained awareness throughout this stretch of the trek and yet, all fared quiet for the warrior. There were no threats within his field of vision, and he was thorough. Any signs or clues of the delegations disappearance, along this path anyway, have clearly washed away with the storm. Something told the elf they may be starting over almost from scratch, though his optimism did encourage that not all hope was lost. Just, the clues were not here.

It was a good sized rock too. Certainly one that could have been detrimental to dear ol' Bill. With the extra pep in the horses step, he undoubtedly could have rolled his hoof or even broke it. And a break never spells well for a mare his age. Thanks to T'chal'fronack'zcinicker's unrelenting eye for detail, paired with Hawke's reflexes, they were able to steer clear of the obstacle. The wagon was able to cart along without incident.
As the trees and wilderness pass on by around you, Hawke, you realize that none of you had checked which direction you left towards this morning. And the longer you thought on it, the more you started to worry whether you all got turned around from the storm and your haste to get moving again. Before any further anxiety could set in, your instincts told you that this was the right way. You would have remembered that rock if you passed by it within the last day or so. And if you wouldn't have, inevitably T'chal'fronack'zcinicker would have. Feeling confident, you continue your way along the path well into the afternoon.
