Damara sighs, not particularly relishing the idea of trying to speak to so many people, but moves to get to work anyway. She stops for a moment and turns her head as though listening to something, then shakes her head and starts walking.
Moneo nods and starts to head towards any of the town guards he sees around. He tells them “The captain needs you to tell everyone to come to the town center within the hour. Be quick! You heard the voice! We have precious little time!”
I just had an idea: everyone roll a Charisma check. It'll be a group DC of a combined 48. If, as a group, you roll 48 or higher, then you will have gotten all of the able-bodied townsfolk to come to the town center.
However much you fail by if you don't get a combined 48 will determine a percentage of the town that shows up which will ultimately effect the outcome of what happens in the near future. (It will also make my life more complicated by creating more math for me, but...I like this idea.)
Nice! You manage to get every able-bodied townsperson to the town center.
Gaias is there with a small platoon of soldiers in formation behind him standing on a small, clearly small enough to be mobile platform. When he's confident at the number of people that have showed her begins.
"As you all are aware, there have been unprecedented events befalling us as of late. I won't pretend to know what the gods are doing, but I will say this: We. Will. Not. Bend the knee to one such as Mogis." He pauses dramatically then continues. "We will fight for our home. For our very souls." Another dramatic pause. This time it's accompanied by some spirited agreement in the crowd. "We will need everyone on board though. This will be a group effort. We have two weeks to get prepared. I have already devised a plan along with the military advisors so in a few moments we'll have you all come forward to be given an assignment. You will also be training with my men over the next couple of weeks in order to be prepared for whatever Mogis throws at us."
After a few more minutes of saber rattling and instructing the people on the coming two weeks, he steps down and everyone gets to work.
Okay. So, this is what we're going to do. Each of you will be assigned a task that relates to your character's strength(s). Since you're all doing this as a community, I'm going to allow you to make your rolls with Advantage (using the help rules). I'll set the DCs based on what I think the difficulty would be for your character given the situation. It won't be the same for everyone. So, here is what each of you is doing:
Aeneas: assigned to help teach the townsfolk archery. He will roll a DEX save throw with Advantage. DC15
Caradoc: assigned to help teach the townsfolk melee fighting. He will roll STR save throw with Advantage. DC12
Damara: assigned to help barricade the roads with the townsfolk. She will also roll Athletics with Advantage. DC15.
Moneo: assigned to help Neskaryn with making health potions. Will roll Arcana with Advantage. DC12
Moneo does his best over the next weeks to be as inspiring for people as possible, showing that they’re making progress in their attempts to prepare for whatever it is may come. While helping with potions ((arcana adv 19)) he occasionally takes a sip or two to see how things taste.
This map is a general reference for you to get an idea of what the space looks like. You all have spent about two weeks with the rest of the town and the military barricading the streets and between buildings. You don't know what's coming, you just know that something is on its way. It's the day before the deadline. What would you all like to be doing before the Mogis Cultist Oracle said the forces of Mogis would return?
Gaias will be placing each of you where he thinks your strengths could be best utilized when the time comes. Damara and Caradocwill be near the frontlines, utilizing their brawn and fighting skill. Aeneaswill be posted on the walls surrounding the fort as an archer, and Moneowill be in the support role with Neskaryn. Neskaryn will be helping out with the front lines (since he's the more seasoned character) and Moneo will be seeing to helping those in the Fort if the fight makes it that far.
As many in the town are nervous, and many looking to the guards for leadership, some looking to their cups, Moneo remembers that they may have help in another source, and heads back to the Lionel who was working on their fleece map to see if it’s completed, and what it may show. The gods never work directly, and perhaps they have the key to their salvation beneath their noses already.
Neskaryn looks regretful as Moneo approaches him about the map, "Unfortunately because of this unpleasant business with all of these preparations, I haven't been able to finish the map, yet. I had to put it mostly on hold." Then, getting a little quieter, he says, "Don't tell Gaias, but I have been stealing away from time to time to work on it. It's almost ready, but not quite."
Then, he continues, excitedly, "I have, however, figured out how it works. The map will magically show the area immediately around you centering on whoever is holding it. Then, with an arrow on the map, it will direct you in the way that Kruphix wants you to go. It will take faith on your part, because this map won't show you how far in a direction you'll need to go or even what you're looking for. It will only tell you what direction you are to go. I'm calling it the Nyx-Powered Map of Direction. Well...maybe the nomenclature isn't perfect, but you get the idea."
Damara spends the day before the attack in meditation and later, as the day begins to move into evening, wandering the perimeter. Partly to doublecheck the defenses but mostly to avoid speaking with anybody, deep in her thoughts. She looks around to confirm that she is alone before raising her hand, a dark, deathly feeling creeping up her arm until a sickly grey, almost smoky energy covers her hand. Letting it fade a moment later, she sighs and looks at the twilight sky, her brow pinched in worry.

If you think my puns are bad, I'll remind you, my profile pic says otherwise.
“Amazing work friend!” Moneo says “After this business passes tomorrow I’m looking forward to seeing your handiwork. But for now, let us focus on tomorrow. Fear not. Kruphix guides our hands here.” He then follows Neskaryn to the fort to see if there are any final things that need preparing.
The day of the attack he gathers the team (and Neskaryn) around to ensure everyone is ready, and to help Inspire them ((giving 6 temp hp to all))

Straight CHA? ㅜㅜ 16 + 3
Can I do persuasion? +7 (with a minimum roll of 10 = 17)

No, I think for this one, we'll all roll straight CHA. 19 is still a really good roll. 😊
So far, you're at 22/48. Two more rolls, 26 needed for a 100%. I'll roll for Aeneas.
Aeneas CHA: 11
