Keth steps out of the barn and gets the attentions of the other, "Listen friends, that sound, that is not good. It is the Chiye-Tanka. I am not sure how to translate it for you but it is a fierce forest creature." Turning to Miz An, "I admire your courage ma'am but I insist you all stay sheltered inside the house like Flynn suggests. We should consider moving the watch spot to the roof to give a better vantage point." He lifts his rifle and checks to ensure it is loaded.
Rictor didn't need to be told twice. He hadn't heard that edge in Keth's normally stoic voice before; if he didn't think it was safe to be in the barn neither did Rictor. He grabs Miz An's arm and turns toward the barn door. "C'mon, you ain't tossing away your life on account of some jackasses, Miz An."
Miz An Moon nods wordlessly at Keth's wisdom, causing her blue bonnet curls to lightly bounce and tremble with the rest of her.
Offering no resistance to Rictor pulling her away, she does give the barn a parting glance to cast Thaumaturgy to close any overhead openings they had been using to ventilate the now-dead fire before helping Flynn and the others board up the cabin.

DM: So from what has been posted, Flynn, Bill, Moon, and Rictor are going into the cabin. Cookie, Keth, are staying outside. (just found that Sing left the campaign). With the warning of impending danger, the small Indian woman simply walks backwards into the snow and vanishes with the wind.
The air chills the skin as it blows through the small valley. half the party enters the cabin and shut the door. Keth stands guard outside as Cookie hides in the barn. An hour passes, then 2 as the party waits for something to happen. Though those 2 hours were full of anxiety, all has been quiet. The snowfall has been constant these past 2 hours and about a 6-inch layer of fresh snow covers everything. With the snowfall comes that quiet, familiar sound of silence. Every movement the party makes is accented by the silence around all of you.
Keth notices the quiet. There are none of the night sounds that usually accompany the night. No animals scurrying here and there, no cries of owls or any other beasts of the night. Keth Passive Perception: 18 Keth notices there is something moving just outside his orcish vision. Keth then hears the sound of something whistling through the air towards the cabin, its movement too fast for Keth to stop it.
Inside the cabin, the last 2 hours have been tense. Nothing has happened as of yet but, there is a sense of an impending threat. Abruptly a sound breaks the calm and quiet. A plank on the back wall vibrates as the sound of a rock hitting it echos through the cabin.

(I believe Flynn also wanted to put boards on the house?)
Throughout the two hours of dread, Miz An Moon will be in peeking out a window facing the barn, in constant prayer uttering ancient words of magic by covering the barn with a ritual casting of Silence, recasting it when it almost expires.

Perception to see if the cabin wall looks okay: 19
Rictor draws his revolver and aims it at the door. He won't put his finger on the trigger, though, expecting to see Keth coming through the door if there indeed was trouble outside.
All weapons are loaded. Flynn doesn't really have anything to fortify the house. The back middle board of the wall is fine but it does vibrate a little from the shock. Rictor pulls his revolver. There are a few moments of silence then the sound of another rock hitting the west side of the cabin echoes inside the empty shell of a house.
Outside: Keth makes his way through the snow and darkness. He hears heavy footfalls to the west, towards the river. Looking that way he sees a 9 ft. tall, thick built being, moving around about 40 ft. from the cabin. It comes to Keth that the creature is trying to avoid him.
For clairty: Post #659-The cabin is cold, dark, and empty. Not only is there no one living in it, but it is also devoid of any furniture or other trappings of an occupied home.
(When you say "It comes to Keth that the creature is trying to avoid him. " Does that mean avoiding Keth in particular?)
Noticing the creature Keth tamps down any immediate reactions at seeing creature of tales from his tribe. He attempts to intuit what it's actions are, violence, avoidance, indifference, etc.

The wind picks up as the snowfall becomes thicker, restricting Keth's visibility.
Again a bestial scream echoes throughout the small valley. A burst of wind and snow buffets Keth causing him to close his eyes for a moment. Keth hears heavy running feet towards the back of the cabin. The snow clears, and it seems the clouds part just for a second to let moonlight illuminate the area. At that moment Keth sees a massive form stand for a moment then fall abruptly into the snow. The creature stood about 8 ft. tall, with very long limbs and white fur. Again Keth is buffeted by the snow and wind as he hears the creature move through the snow, just at the edge of the homestead.
Inside the cabin. The party tenses as the second rock hits the cabin wall, not breaking through the wall but causing the boards to rattle and the sound of it echoes inside the cabin. The dog seems to whimper for a moment, then stands, maybe finding its courage within this group, and growls. With the growl, the party can hear distant heavy footfalls across the snow outside, near the back of the cabin, but only for a moment.
Back outside: Preparing for the worst, Keth readies himself. A gust of wind stirs up snow, obscuring his vision only for a moment, and as it clears Keth sees the creature standing before him, approximately 30 ft. away. The creature stands up to its full 8 ft. and looks directly at Keth. It moves it's mouth to a large grin, revealing a series of very sharp teeth. Its eyes flash a red glow as it charges Keth.

"Meesta Lightfeatha?"
After hearing the footfalls outside, Miz An Moon taps the roof where Keth claimed he would give himself a vantage point, but its only response was a hollow sound. She stares in panic to the others to the door and runs outside.

Ok, I am unclear on this point.
Keth said "We should consider moving the watch spot to the roof" but I don't find where he stated he did or tried to.
Rictor headed to the barn but went back out, Moon closed openings and went with Rictor to the cabin with Flynn & Bill, and the dog.
Rictor responds to the howl by aiming his pistol at the door.
I assumed Keth took first watch as Keth spent sometime merged with his Eagle looking over the land a bit but with nightfall, I assumed the eagle had returned to its perk or to him.
(OOC: While Keth only said it, Miz An expected him to be on that roof. After that you had declared that he was off the house and stalking around, Whitehart rolled with it, so I decided to incorporate both into how Miz An would react 😆
Since you've made it clear that it's your style, I think it's worth noting that we should BOTH say it AND act it out from now on? I know sometimes I do the same thing because I don't want to make my posts too long too.)

konpk is correct, Flynn will try to fortify the house in any way he can

Sorry for the delay All. Weekend + sickness =sleeping + Nyquil
Sorry for the crudeness of this thing but I put it together quickly and will have better maps later on.
