Impressed by your spell Vera reaches for a leather pouch that's empty and goes to a jar full of pearls, reaching inside for a first full she fills the bag handing over a sack of pearls with a smile. "May they serve you well," Vera says smiling.
Turning to Brida now Vera places her hands on her shoulders and then tries to cast something similar to what she cast of the boys weapons but Brida backs away. "No," Brida says backing away with her mace and bow still on her back. "Chauntea will protect me," she adds next her tone stern, "but I will take any other blessings you might share," she explains as Vera nods.
"Of course," Vera replies, "her light shines through you," she adds smiling. "Erevan," she then says as if remembering something, "this might also interest you," she adds going to her bookshelf and pulling down a tome before going to the elf and handing the green leather bound book to him.
Erevan please roll an arcane/investigation check!

"What's this?" Erevan asks. He opens the book, starts scanning the first few lines, then with a shocked look slams it shut. He recovers quickly and gives Vera a look which promises a very direct conversation to come.
Erevan puts the tome into his backpack and notices the "tugging" from the totem. He focuses on it some more and says to Vera, "if I understand correctly, at least one of the other totems is on this property. Brida, did you notice any tugging from the Totem when you carried it?"
"I'm not entirely sure I know, but I have some suspicions. What little I know of it tells me it is both a gift and a curse, and no way to know if the gains are worth the risks."
"I didn't feel anything but I think it's the binding," Brida explains motioning to Vera who nods.
"Most likely," Vera agrees. Turning to Erevan, "I was certain the tome was meant for you," the old hedge witch druid says looking at you suspiciously now. "No?" she asks. "As for the stones I'm sure a cleric or two might have some answers for you," she adds wryly.
Erevan: The book written in Elvish certainly needs more time to study but you can tell is imbue with magic beyond your current reckoning.

"Yes, the book was definitely meant for me tho I don't know how that was possible. I need time to study it but that will have to wait. We should focus on the stones now. Brida, do you know of a stone like this on your property?"
"Erevan I wouldn't put it pass those other clerics hiding something for Ballen," Vera explains moving away from the group and speaking to Aldaryn for a moment before approaching Andulra. "Anyhting I can do for a young druid," she asks.
OOC: y'all sort out who's got the ring but as far as I'm concerned Andulra had the wand so Erevan should get the ring!

Erevan: The stone tugs you towards a tent where you know where the remaining clerics and acolytes have made a makeshift hospital. The stone seems to be tugging you there. Brida however realizing the direction you are headed puts a hand on your arm.
"If they are concealing anything it's because they sincerely believe in Ballen and it was for the best for the village," Brida explains her tone and expression serious. "If they aren't willing to give it up please allow me to deal with them," she adds.
Vera calls away from the group going back to those in the barn.

OOC: Oops, got my responses out of order
Erevan puts the tome into his backpack and notices the "tugging" from the totem. He focuses on it some more and says to Vera, "if I understand correctly, at least one of the other totems is on this property. Brida, did you notice any tugging from the Totem when you carried it?"
"What's in the book Erevan? That was a very weird reaction."
"I'm not entirely sure I know, but I have some suspicions. What little I know of it tells me it is both a gift and a curse, and no way to know if the gains are worth the risks."
"And what to do with the Ring of Spell Storing? If I'm to carry it I'd like a few spells put into it."
"I cannot cast any magic so it does me no good. Perhaps Brida could load it with some healing magic in it?"
"I didn't feel anything but I think it's the binding," Brida explains motioning to Vera who nods.

"Well, if we're done here let's head upstairs and see if we can find that stone."
OOC: Slow day? I hope everyone checks in soon! What's the plan?
Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Unless someone else has something they want to do down here Saarebas is ready to head back up.
OOC: so sorry fellas. I’ve been sick as a dog since early Friday. I will read everything tonight and post.
Darik nods his head.
Darik: "If we are done let's find these stones and put an end to things."
Felix Windfall(Human-V Lv.7 Rogue) killed in ToA, Vallan Houndstrider (Halfling Ghostwise Lv.1 Fighter) in DiAHolding the stone concealed in his hand, Erevan starts up the stairs.
Vera moved up stairs behind Erevan, making the door appear ahead of him, they are followed by Brida and Aldaryn.
Once above in the kitchens they're above at work making the meals for the survivors.
Erevan you feel a pull of the stone outside the house, do you go?
Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Yes, Erevan follows the tugs wherever they lead him on the property.
