Erevan: You do not manage to break free of the grasp but looking down recognize the dark skin of the elf you meet the previous night! Aldaryn moves around in front of you with his hand still on your mouth and his finger over his lips. Once you agree to remain quiet you then hear his voice inside your head: "The horses returned to the village so I came after you. I see now there must have been a fight, the wagon near the road. Do you know you're being followed and not just by me?" He asks without making a sound then looks towards a sleeping Brida then back at you. "They had a scout but..." he trails off motioning to a dagger on his belt.
"I'd guessed we were being watched." Erevan relays what he recalled of the woman watching us after the fight with the harpy. "What are your intentions? Should I rouse the others?"
"To protect...," Aldaryn looks to Brida again before going on, "all of you. To see you safely to Feirm," he adds once again speaking in your mind. "A woman?" He says curiously. "I...I saw one with the others, wild folk. They...they live in the forests by Carrowkeel but I am not sure why they're following or their intentions. I will remain in the shadows for now," he says. "Don't tell Brida please. I will be watching over all of you," he reassures you gesturing again to his lips with his finger to stay quiet about his being there. This entire conversation has happened in your mind, Aldaryn you are unsure if he can speak or will not.
The rest of the night passes without another disturbance. Just as the sun begins to peek over the trees everyone begins to wake for the busy day of traveling ahead. When Brida gets up after prayers she decides a hot breakfast would be a benefit to everyone and starts a fire. She pulls out the contents of a pouch from her backpack and begins to make a porridge much like the one you had at the temple. Looking around the shelter for the night she seems, just like all of you minus Erevan, none the wiser of Aldaryn's shadowy visit. All of you rise and settle in for breakfast.
After eating breakfast you get back on the road. Erevan on his pony which he's coming to appreciate, Brida and Willow on the horse whilst Darik and Saarebas take point in front and behind. It's about midday when on the road your reach a crossroads you passed through without stopping on your way to Carrowkeel. Here you know there is a smith with stables and an inn with a tavern below. There a small group of hovels for the people who run the business here. This is a place where you could possible regain the mounts you lost as well as much of the time lost having to keep a pace with two on foot. You only have 3 more days before the gift is due in Feirm and with a day and a 1/2 already spent you notice Brida is getting anxious!
OOC: Anyone want to see about horses? Brida mentions only having 7 gold pieces for such a purchase but you know full well that the price of two good horse is three times that much!

“Horses will get us where we’re going faster and with then we could make up for our lost time. I have 10 gold. Do you think I could get a horse for that much?” Sarrebas remarks when he sees the horses.
Darik: "I have 10 gold pieces as well. If I remember correctly we should be a day out. Once we get these horses I say we just push straight to Ferim. What do you think Brida?"
Brida says she is will to give her 7 gold towards the cause for new mounts having to replace the ones lost from Aldaryn anyway unless they've returned there after being spooked. She however says she not much of a negotiator when it comes to these things.
Saarebas and Darik: The group is now stopped at the crossroads. The stable is beside the forge and you can see a human man there working. Do you approach?
Willow: You are able to find some various nuts and mushrooms that your know are editable. You also feel as though you're being watched but are unsure if it's an animal or humanoid!
"I in deed hope you're right Erevan. I know they weren't much but they were Aldaryn's contribution to the task," Brida says with a sigh to her elven friend wishing him and the others luck on their task.
Letting the 'boys' negotiate for horses Brida waits with the ones they do have wondering where Willow's gone off too, again. You guys reach the smith. A human man middle aged is hammer on what looks like some sort of blade.

OOC: Dark is there blacksmithing in your background? Aladaryn's a smith too remember?
The man looks up startled by the dragonborn his hammer gripped in one hand and the hot metal blade in the other.
"How can I help you today gents," a short stocking older human female calls out to you coming from the stable area.
She approaches you walking in between your group and the smith who she then calls out over her shoulder to 'get back to work' before looking back at you. Although the woman is older she's still fairly pretty with dark hair pulled back into a bun and suntanned skin. She does eye Saarebas and Darik with some curiosity but doesn't seem as alarmed as the man behind her which you realize looking at the woman then at him that he must be her son!
Looking over his shoulder nervously at the unstable dragon born behind him, Erevan addresses the blacksmith: " we have need of some horses, we are expected in Feirm tomorrow evening. We'd be able to return the horses within a fortnight if you'd be able to part with them,we'll need 2 of them to hold our heavier companions." {OOC: that persuasion roll I put up earlier was for this}
"Also, I'm in need of a toy smithing hammer, would you happen to have one available?"
"Sir," the older woman asks curiously leaning over into your eyeline. "Ah my son's busy how can I help you with that," the woman adds with a smirk. "I have two horses for sale yes," she explains. "As for their ability to hold your friend there," she adds gesturing at Darik, "they weren't exactly trained to be handled by his kind so I can't vouch for that," she adds honestly. "If you've looking for toys I suggest Carrowkeel down the road where you came or Feirm ahead," she says curtly. "For the horses it'll be 55 gold a piece for horse and tack," she explains finally.
If you'll allow, I'd rather roll acrobatics. If so, add 5 to whatever this turns out to be.

Saarebas will also remake that he is not much of a negotiator and asks Erevan if he can negotiate and Saarebas will help pay with his own gold.
Darik will nod to the idea of having Erevan deal with negotiating for the horses. He would like to be present if Erevan goes just in case.

Yes, Ervin can handle the negotiations if you'd like and has gold to spend to help with the costs. Persuasion: 18
Also, I'll be asking hat blacksmith if he has a toy smith hammer or playset.
