Erevan: "55 gold per mount plus tack," the older woman says firmly. "Yes of course, she leads you to the horses in a paddock, there are three but she points to a bay and a gray.
Darik: The man nods still very uneasy about your presence. He then goes back to his work as if unable or unwilling to continue to engage you in conversation.
Willow: Brida refuses your offer and gestures for you to offer it to the boys instead waiting impatiently near the forge looking anxiously at Darik before glancing at the road towards Feirm. She does however hand you a shiny new dagger. "Careful with this now," she adds in a motherly tone.
Erevan will walk around the horses appraising as if he had any idea how to put a value on them. Lots of frowning, chin stroking and sighing. Assuming she doesn't budge, I'll accept 55 so long as the horses are standing upright on their own accord with at least 4 legs each.
{OOC: Erevan has 35 gp, he'll offer 15 towards the horses.}
OOC: What's everyone's motivation for having joined Brida if $$ isn't it? Did we cover this? For her it's divine light she saw around you in Feirm but why for your character?
Erevan: yup they're horses! "I am giving you a discount to get you on your way," she says now eyeing the curious crowd now gather outside the smithy gawking at the party but mostly Darik! "That'll be 110 gold or please I'd start making your way out of town," she says firmly now and you can tell you're weighing on her patience!
With a bow and a smile to the woman, Erevan says "agreed, and fairly settled milady."
To the others, "I hope you're OK with the deal. It's a fair deal by my estimation. At this point I think it's best we finish our business and move on, remember, we stopped here to save time, not waste it."

OOC: [ Darik joined in hopes of figuring out who his kind are and try to remember who he was. Plus a wondrous item isn't that bad either.]

Darik: "If that's what you think is best. Let us get on with our mission. With the remaining gold pieces we should use that as party funds for lodging."
OOC: Thanks for the reminder guys, motivation is key!
Settling up with the older woman who has a boy saddle the horses for you, you make your way out of the crossroads without an incident with the curious townsfolk. Back on the road to Feirm you spend the better part if day trying to make up for lost time.
Willow:
You notice Brida is visible anxious constantly readjusting the satchel that's between you across her body which you know holds the gift, or at least that's what you think, and keeps scanning the now open fields between the party and Feirm.
After the majority of the day with gray clouds above you enter into the flat lowlands which Brida mentions is some of the best farmland in all of Talamh. The land is vast and so open it's almost unnerving. As you travel on you pass random travelers and farms with carts. The day is growing darker with the coming storm when the roads seem to empty. Then in the early evening just an hour before dusk a heavy rainstorm sets in. The rain is so heavy it observes your vision. You begin to question our plans to continue. Then up ahead you notice a light. You remember from passing this way before there's another settlement along the road but you aren't exactly sure if the light is it. Brida however halts the party the rain pelting down on everyone, soaking you to your bones, with defeat in her voice shares her thoughts.
"I say we use the party funds like Darik suggested and find shelter for the night," Brida calls out sounding miserable. "This weather seems to be holding up," she adds holding a gloved hand out as rain spatters against her leathered palm.
Her scale mail is rusting and she's waterlogged. Brida loves nature but right now she's having a hard time liking it. Trying her best to shield Willow with her cloak again Brida urges the horse forward towards the light then quickly overtakes Saarebas as the head of their column. Before she passes however she urges Erevan and Darik to follow with haste!
OOC: Erevan your pony is the Rocky of all ponies, he's so tough in fact as well as anxious to get out of the storm you bolt passed everyone barely able to hold onto him!
Once you reach thNe light you realize it is coming from a graying wooden traven that's two stories. The light is coming from a large window in front wher upon looking inside you see a roaring fire as well as various humans, only humans like the crossroads, milling around inside. Just as the last of the party rides up a teenage boy comes out of the stable near the inn and calls out to you with a lantern aloft looking utterly annoyed you called him from his dry place into the cold wet night.
"A room is 2 gold apiece but stabling for the night is 7 for the lot of horses," the teen barks to Erevan who's there first, front and center, as the boy reaches out to take the halter of the pony!
OOC: Name the pony Erevan!
Next is Brida with Willow followed by Saarebas and finally Darik whose gray horse has giving him grief since they left the crossroads.
Darik: Roll animal handling check please!
