"So, there's not too many ways this can go, you can either answer my questions, or I'll leave and you can answer my friend's questions. It works the same in the end, but I ask a little nicer than he does..." Persuasion: 24
Looking between you too the smaller, younger human looks at the other who pulled the dagger and starts to talk!
"We saw her wandering in the woods and she seemed easy enough to take," he says with a shrug as the other man sighs loudly.
"Even in that land loving city like Feirm there's places that give good coin for their kind," the dagger wielder adds smirking then leering at both the young females, Andulra and Brida!
"Well, I hope you boys have learned your lesson!" :) Erevan turns to Andulra and offers a low bow. "These two won't trouble you further, our camp is this way..."
OOC: power of the elves eh? *wink* I'll allow one more different party member to roll an insight check and that's it, you'll all think they're upstanding trappers who just 'decided' to become slavers!
Erevan: Case of opportunity knocking, you're sure of it!

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Aldaryn seeing and hearing Darik's brash actions against the well-being and consideration of the party will attempt to make a move towards Darik to get him away from the unarmed prisoners in the party's charge after Brida gasps in abject horror at the dragonborn's violent and unnecessary actions.
"Darik no!," Brida calls out.
Adaryn uses stealth 24 and grapples Darik: 13
Darik: You can roll a strength save to try to avoid the grapple at a DC of 13 but at disadvantage because Aldaryn surprised you!
Darik: Although you break Aldaryn's hold he does not back down. "You were a solider once yes?" He asks but doesn't wait for an answer. "Solider have honor yes?" He adds firmly. "We all here expect you as well as anyone in your group to act with honor," he says firmly still blocking Darik from the prisoners, the dark elf is thin in comparison to the dragonborn but no less serious in his resolve.
Brida is looking frantically around before calming her nerves.
"We should put them in Pitero's cart and take them to the village. Sir Ballen will know what to do with them," she says her tone angry but your unsure if it's at the situation or the man she serves under until she clutches at the satchel she still wears. "As for the cage, it should be destroyed," she exclaims moving towards it.
Saarebas: Seeing and hearing all this you've known the men were both lying! You say so to the party as well as implore Darik to behave but then fall silent. With your passive perception and training as a sailor an odd sense of dread begins to fill your mind, you're being watched!!! Roll a perception check!
Pitero, hearing the suggestion to load them in his cart, walks away, intent on bringing the cart to the humans, so nobody has to wrestle them around to get them in the cart.
