" Maybe we should take the cage back with us? Present it as evidence to Sir Ballen, then it will be his problem. It also gives us a place to lock these guys up."
Turns to Erevan laughing, " That's even better! There's not a lot of room in there! Let them know how it feels to be squished in a cage." Laughing even harder now.

"The lock was broken so we cannot lock them in there but, we can definitely take it with us. If this one exists maybe there are others. Perhaps the high priest would know how to track it to its source and the best way to get rid of it."
Pitero sizes up the cage. "We could try to destroy it, but we don't have tons of tools." He looks around at the trees. "We could probably use some long branches as make-shift tools to pry it apart. Or we could dig up some larger stones to help smash things up."
He shrugs, unsure of what the others might prefer to do. "Whatever you guys want, though. If we have to take the cage with us, I can always tie Mork to the back of the cage, and ride their cart. Mork loves to follow a line anyhow."
He gestures at his mule, and you realize that the patchy brown thing must be named "Mork."

"This doesn't have to be hard, it's on wheels. If anyone has a good rope we can tie them in easy enough, will just have to keep an eye on them. Seems we've already signed up for that. "
Brida steps up offering a rope for the tying on the cage. Aldaryn wants to be on guard for the prisoners as well as the magical cage. Brida will offer to drive the wagon in the morning offering her horse to Andulra to ride.
"Our plans are settled then? If so I'll say we all get some rest before we head out," Brida explains. "Erevan and Saarebas will you finish your watch," she asks turning to the both of you.

With a low bow, Erevan says "of course" then ties off the rope. He'll loop it through the bars of the door a few times then tie it off with the knot out of reach.
Everyone settles in for the rest of the 'night' it's about 3 in the morning now. Brida, having had most of her rest remains awake with Aldaryn who lead the cart with the caged humans towards the campsite along the same route as Pitero lead Mork with his cart. Tying the old horse to a nearby tree he sits down wrapping his cloak around himself as Brida settles in the ground beside him.

Pitero lays back in his cart, since it's not populated by the captives. He'll stay parked right next to the cage, eyeing the two "bears" with a wry smile as he settles in for what's left of the night.

Sleeps find everyone it's not the best light you've ever slept but it's decent. You make in the morning to Brida's porridge making and various other morning rituals of your party members. After eating either the porridge or your own rations the party breaks camp. Brida leads the horse, who's she's feed and watered after a full night's rest looks almost completely different from the night before, as they reach the road everyone else files in behind. There isn't other travelers out on the road this early hour yet but as the party comes into the road they now look like some sort of odd caravan. Aldaryn, on horseback, takes the lead while Brida with the cart ol' bears is behind him. Then in the center Saarebas and Andulra are on horseback while Pitero with his cart pulled by Mork follows behind them. Darik is keeping an eye on the rear of the column per Brida's request as Erevan never stays put.
There is steady conversation throughout the morning goes into early afternoon. Conversation is almost nervous as if they night's events have left everyone a little shaken and/or weary. The only confident one is Erevan on Shadow the pony who entertains as usual. He never quite stays in one place too long often finds himself curious about the comically transformed bears. He looks almost gleeful as Andurla too looks on at her former captures that are utterly miserable in the tied cage who oddly enough have not challenged the tied lock...

"Well, we can tie the door shut and keep an eye on them or maybe jam the latch so that it can't be opened."
