Unaffected Erevan is standing in the threshold of the temple when Aldaryn who had been flanking the group trying to protect y'all form an attack by hidden foes in the square was on the temple steps when Darik and Saarebas fell! Now he sees the lot of you! "What happened," Aldaryn asks Erevan with a worried expression looking down at the pile of party members as Erevan stands unharmed!
Erevan: Darik & Saarebas the best you can gather from your knowledge need lesser restoration to become conscious again. You also once the trigger which is not the salt/black powder which is a crude ward but instead it's a mechanism that was engaged inside the temple after the blasting of the doors! Roll sleight of hand to disarm it, DC 15
Pitero & Andulra: Bride leads you into the house calling for her father and her aunt but receives no reply. Frantically she looks around until something hits her and she bolts from the house out the rear door for the barn. Do you follow? Any checks you'd like to do in the house?

Aldaryn sighs and nods, "those clever priests," he says trying himself. Sleight of hand 23 and disarms the trap. "Not clever enough," he adds then gestures at their party members on the floor. "I say we take them inside and find somewhere to put them. I think Brida can help them but I know we can't and we must find Sir Ballen and other survivors," he explains. "I know two places in the temple they could hide but we are going to have to be careful," he explains.
Andulra: The house looks like it was left in the middle of a meal, a hasted mess is about the place not like someone was looking through things but as if the people who live there knew where specific hidden things were and pushed what hid them out of hte way to get to them.
Following Brida outside you find she's gone into the barn. It is large, bigger than the house even, and houses two milking cows and two oxen. The animals look nervous but not harmed. Brida is looking around the barn before scurrying to an area the looks like a common barn floor strewn with straw and animal droppings. You watch as Brida closes her eyes holding her hands out over the doors muttering before a trap door appears in the floor right before you where first there was none!

Erevan/OOC: You cannot see any immediate danger. Aldaryn seems itchy to move on regardless of your companions being incapacitated but remains with you waiting for your decision.
Group 2: After Brida’s murmurings and the trap door is revealed she kneels to open in and your surprised and relieved to see at least twenty villagers women, children, and men looking up blinking against the low light of the dusk light. The faces are a mix of a majority of humans and a few half-elves but no other race seems to be present. At first they look anxious but then they seem relieved at the sight of the young half-elven cleric!
“Brida,” you then hear a female voice call out from the trapdoor. “I…I thought I’d never see you face again,” a human woman says who’s climbing out of the cellar hidden in the barn.
“Vera,” Brida exclaims hugging the woman as soon as she’s out of the trapdoor. “You’re alive,” she then says holding the woman back from her to give her a once over. “Father,” she then asks the woman who becomes sober suddenly and cannot meet Brida’s eyes.
“He…I lost sight of him as I was helping the villagers hide,” Vera begins to explain, “I…I haven’t seen him since dawn,” she adds next gesturing to the trapdoor. “Who…who are you companion,” Vera then asks changing the subject as she looks at Andulra and Pitero curiously.
Brida then turns to you two and introduces you. Everyone seems wearier of Andulra then Pitero wearing his Chauntea symbols.
“I am glad for your aid,” Vera says next. “Did you see…is there trouble on the roads,” she then asks Brida leading her away from the group as you two are then overwhelmed by the people of Carrowkeel.
What would you like to do? Question people? Investigate?

Erevan: "We leave them here in the doorway," Aldaryn asks curiously gesturing at Darik and Saarebas but your gesture makes him pause. "Let's at least move them out of the way," he then asks gesturing for you to help. Aldaryn athletics 13 he pulls Darik from the doorway towards an alcove and tucks him inside gesturing at you to help with Saarebas, please roll an athletics check!
Group 2
Pitero: You find the people are honestly terrified but relieved to see Brida as well as yourself. As you begin to question them they all have slightly different stories. You realize the people are exhausted and apart from telling you 'shadows attacked' and 'something in the air' they aren't making a whole lot of sense. You can't really surmise anything else from them other than they are tired, harried, and mournful people.
After finding that there is no one who made it to the Tierney farm that is injured beyond something food and a good rest can cure, Brida comes back to you two to devise a plan after she tells Vera to keep the people behind the wards. "We must find Sir Ballen and my father. We must go to the village and find the others," Brida says and waits for your reply.
Pitero is most interested in joining the rest of the party,as a divided force is a weak one. As these people are safe, he urges Brida and Andrula to move on, in case there are lives to be saved.

Saarebas: it was a con save, no advantage. I said the wrong save.
Darik & Saarebas: fall catatonic to the floor just over the salt/black powder semi-circle.
Erevan: You are powerless to stop it.
Pitero: the trees are her old but the runes were carved in the last 100 years.
Andulra: the area on the other side of the sigil seems to crackle with arcane engery.

Meant that to mean so long as they don't seem to be in immediate danger, like the room still being on fire or something like that.
