AREA 19C - THE SUN POOL

A glorious sun is carved on the ceiling, directly above a pool of still water. The ceiling reflected in the pool doesn’t show a sun carving, but rather a moon carving. There is a door leading south that opens to a passageway with torch holders.

Asha pops back through the portal one more time. "Ok, so hear me out. On the other side of this portal, there's a passageway with a bunch of torch holders. I think that we have ta take the torches through the pool portal and then put them in the torch holders."

Zyn grabs two, hands them to you carefully, and has an expectant look on her face, like she agrees with the idea. "Try it."

Kira nods thoughtfully. "Mkaaaaay, d'you think the water'll put them out?"

"Only one way to find out!" Zyn says, dunking Asha back in the water. "Down ya go!"

Asha goes back down the pool and checks her torch once she comes up on the other side

Like passing through a magic membrane, the torches remain lit!

Asha pops back up through the pool again. "It stays lit. Now grab some torches and help me. I don't want to make a bunch of trips through this thing."

Zyn grabs a pair and followed Asha through the pool, heading towards the passageway to the torch holders, and placing her two in empty slots.

Asha places a pair of torches in the empty slots and waits for the others.

Kira grabs two torches and races through the pool, using mage hand to put them up.

Astra shrugs to the others and grabs himself a pair of torches to then walk through the portal to place them in the remaining empty slots.

Off in the main room, you can hear the movement and grinding of stone against stone.

"After this I'm taking a break to dry off." Asha goes through the pool one last time to see what happened in the main room.

Kitsune inspects the pedestal holding the stone cube....what made the grinding noise?

It turned.

Astra's ears perk at the sound, immediately going to inspect the cube with Kitsune. Still a bit skeptical, he commands Faust to pick it up with her talons and waits to see if something happens.

Faust turns to stone you bastard. Jay kay louls. Nothing happens.

"Okay, the cube is safe. Let's go dry off."

Safe!

Faust, happy that she totally didn't turn to stone, happy puts the cube in Astra's hands. "Thank you, my dear." He gives an affectionate scratch to the hawks cheek prior to sending her off once again to check out where the dino had been. When the cleric talks about drying off, he turns to her and waves a hand, drying her off. "Is that what you wanted? Would anyone else like to be dry?"
