The giant deflects the first bolt but the second pierces it’s armour causing a grievous wound. The giant sags and starts looking for a way to escape. 

Zephyr runs forward reaching the edge of the broken earth.

Ackley at the same time runs into range of the hellhound and strikes with primal savagery his fingernails extending to points before swiping across the animals face.

The hellhound tries to bite Ackley as he passes but steaming hot ichor spurts from the talon wounds caused by the Druid and it collapses twitching on the floor, becoming a delicious meal for the hyena and the tiger. 
The giant lets out a blood curdling scream as the snakes swarm over its form slithering under its armour and biting it repeatedly. It’s eyes fade and it drops to its knees before face planting the ground, involuntary spasms ticking for a few seconds before it stills. 

Ackley calls back the snakes and distributes goodberrys from his pack healing the party and accompanying animals to full .

To more of a somber note he proceeds over to the corpse of the jackal and tends to it burying it beneath a nearby tree .
