As Eoan turns to walk away from the statue it comes to Life striking out with the spear.

A fell voice growls in Eoan Duck you fool! Whether it’s from shock of the voice or from adhering the advice we’ll never know but Eoan ducks and the spear lances into thin air above his head. Spinning he sees the statue morphing into its true form. A massive mimic fills the room, pseudopods and a gaping maw bearing down on him.
